Its simply a revenge of the parents. It was a love marriage after a very long affair , parents were most likely not happy about it . Most likely they would have not got any dowry and now their son gave all death benefits to his wife so they are frustrated .
It is a case of money nothing else and parents should be ashamed of falling so low

Regarding the marriage thing, the girl father only said my daughter is still young and she should settle later, to which the boy father suggested- that they will do as she decides wether to get married to another person or stay by herself and according to old tradition he suggested if she wants to live in this family m ok with her marrying my other son. I'm the wife of an army personnel, living with him on base. Due to the current situation, he's constantly deployed to different locations for defense operations, facing attacks. As I write this, I'm sitting in darkness, surrounded by the sound of alert sirens blaring, indicating a high red alert on the base. It's not his parents who are going through this; they're safe in their hometown with their daughter. But I'm the one who stands to lose everything, along with our two children. If something happens to my husband, his parents will grieve, but their social status won't change. Mine, however, will change from wife to widow."

So what if she was married for 5 months, it's her fate she is widowed, will her life be the same? Yes NOK should be revised but the way they threw dirt on bahu shows how greedy they are. They should not have brought homely matters on public platform. Even the mother has a problem that bahu didn't talk even once the day they recieved chakra. Then saas should have approached her, she should have hugged her, why this ego? @gurunaveen2647 What comparison did you exactly make? "Women, earn on your own. Don't you have shame". Those are called judgments, not comparison. You brought up blame and judgment on all women together. You made no comparison at all, just shamed women. Now I see that my comparison is very valid because when the widowed husbands received kirti chakras of their late wives, no woman made a remark on their husband's receiving the money. Nobody raised a self-assumption that he might remarry. A nominated man's in-laws didn't start a media drama saying that their son-in-law should've shared the medal and money with them. But, when the genders are reversed, you can all shame women all together. Women earning more than many men aren't fractional. Wake up to reality!! Women scientists and doctors of our country aren't fractional. In fact, in some depts, more than men. Not any less than a man's contribution at all. In military, there are more than 7000 women serving the country, that's lesser than the men, but still a big number. And there are way more women in non-combat roles. Lots of women serve in administration and police services. Let's imagine it all to be fractional also, even then, who gave you the right to trivialize it all and blankly shame all the people if 1 gender? This applies to both genders.

Once someone is married, it is not only a partnership between the spouses but also a moral relationship with the entire family of both partners. How could she leave her in-law's house the day after her husband's death? Her behavior speaks volumes and raises many questions. She is not only responsible to her husband, whom she knew for 5-6 years, but her husband was also the son of parents who brought him into this world with tears and sweat. Every family encounters problems, which can range from property disputes and extramarital affairs to financial issues. Turning to social media is not a solution; these matters are best resolved privately. It's important to recognize that she dated him for eight years and was married for five months, making this a significant issue for her as well. Blaming someone without knowing the full story is unfair. It's the responsibility of their son to include his parents' names on the documents. My will states that, after my death, my property should be divided equally between my parents and my wife. Observing his parents with RG makes me consider that there might have been pre-existing conflicts with their daughter-in-law. It is best to allow them to handle the situation privately, without the involvement of others.

However, his parents seem to be an educated family, so they have the guts to bring this up to the nation. Otherwise, it would have happened to other soldiers mourning who lost too. The Army needs to look into such serious matters, and parents also need to make sure their nominees don't do the same thing again. Govt needs to take this matter seriously & change rules in accordance with evolution of society. Over-idealistic & overt feministic stands have to be done away with & practical approach needs to be implemented. Mam Meghna Girish Ji sums both sides of the coin & addresses the very key issue in which parents of Shaheeds r left away. Unnecessary vilification of Captain Anshuman Singh's parents is being done on SM just for speaking out loud on this issue of being left out, an issue which has been faced by many other Parents of fallen in the past but they couldn't speak it out loud or muster the courage. Maybe the current narrative also didn't allow for their issues to be addressed in the danger of being labelled 'backward' or regressive thinking. In cases where widows of Shaheeds who do get remarried the medal should be rightfully in the custody of his parents & same vice versa if the fallen happens to be female.

This case: Wife gets ! 5 months or 5 years doesn’t matter. If the spouse remarries, then the situation changes.
Be amicable & the money can be mutually divided. I have seen daughters in law taking care of in laws. Their difference with each other is internal issue. Family discords are a pain. Dignified approach required on both sides !
    Overall- 14:44 to 15:44 agreed✔️

He think that she will take care of his parents, otherwise which child want their parents live without any benefit, if she will live with his family then its ok to get benefit from his service, otherwise she should submit everything to his parents.

@@dishants197 are you dumb why should she live with his parents? The entitlememt and dumb logic! He married her! SHE is his freaking family as well! The case changes ONLY when she marries someone else.
Let's see if her helpless sweet mother in-law give her husband's assets to the husband's family.
His parents are well settled. Their greed just couldn't take it. On the same note the daughter in law could give a little of the money to her in laws as well.
      Goes both ways.

Agreed, if you wanna enjoy the compensation of man you've at least got to take his responsibilities over your head!
If she wanna move on/remarry or do whatever else she want she should be free but at the same time get disentitled from compensation

It doesnt seem to be about the money. More about respect and recognition for the parents from the army and the daughter in law.

Such a shameful act in laws have done to come publicly . This is not disgrace to the lady also to the martyr. Atleast he should have thought of his son's sacrifice. Whatever was the case they should have not come in media. A huge respect to the veer naree she is already in deep sorrow and then must be seeing all these media reports and people's comments. She doesn't have anyone to listen to her....keeping all her pain and agony with herself.
Please people don't comment without knowing other side if the story.
Had this happen with there daughter then........
All this disgrace happened due to immature act of parents

Medal - To solve the dispute it's better to put it in a public museum or in a trust
