This planner has been a big help with me getting organized for a cruise in September. I've always been a last minute packer but with the checklist and your links I have almost everything I need and want. Now the anticipation of the cruise is all that's left. Thank you for thinking of us all.
Brings lots of $1s, $5s, $10s. In fact, at the end of your cruise on the last sea day, I carry $5s and $10s and maybe one $20 in my wrist bag. I gift those certain very attentive crew members with money in their hands and thank them for their service and care personally. This is over the regular gratuity we always pay. I have heard that they get off to go to Walmart and come back with lots of personal stuff. This is my way of helping them be more comfortable while away from home for so many months.
8 days from my first cruise. I want to thank you for all your tips. I have binge watched for about 10 days now, and Amazon is loving me. Not sure how I would have survived this part without these videos. Going Solo, so wanted to be prepared.
As a person that gets seasick in a hot tub.....I can attest to this suggestion. Take a dose of seasick medication the evening before you get on the ship and one the morning you em-bark. Then a dose daily. Scuba dove for 20 years and did this religiously. Never was sick. -Joy
Great tips. Another thing, since I just turned 70, I don’t leave home without bandaids. If I scratch my arm or cut myself, the older I get the more thin and sensitive my skin becomes and bleeds easily, so bandaids are a must have. I make up a first aid kit with anything medical I think we may need. Besides bandaids, I pack Tylenol, Ibuprophen, Extra Strength Excedrin, antiseptic cream, cloth tape, gauze, alcohol wipes, throat lozenges, Mucinex, etc. i will have to find out about the extension cord for my husband’s C-Pap machine. He doesn’t use water in it, so we don’t have to deal with that, but the extension cord, yes. It’s a pain getting old and having to take your house with you when you travel!😅
I always take a clear over the door hanging shoe organizer to put small cosmetics, personal items, grooming utensils, etc, in so they don't take up counter space.
Insurance agent here- something really important to consider is if you are taking valuable jewelry with you- MAKE SURE if you are traveling with it that you have it listed on your homeowners/ renters policy. If it’s over 1k in value it should be listed as it’s own item on your insurance, because most insurance companies will cover mysterious disappearance if it gets stolen etc… or just don’t bring it. Just something to consider when taking items of high value.
The first cruise I took I had to deal with keeping up with my jewelry. After that nightmare of worrying, I would leave or loose something I was ready the next time a bought quite a bit of costume jewelry instead. If I loose it or leave it etc I am not out much.
Meeting your Room Stewards on Day 1: We put a small paper bag on our bed with our Room Stewards names on it (from their card) when we went to dinner on the first night. It had items for 2: packages of spicy nuts and wrapped candies. Yes, we did get these things before we embarked the ship. We have learned over the years that Indonesian and Philippine crew members like hot/spicy foods! Also on the last sea day, we have a printed message that I hand write a personal message and cash for them.
We do thank you cards for everyone, movie theater size American candies, money and also the latest magazines (people, Readers digest, southern living etc.). For crew to pass around and share. I was told they are great for practicing English, but way to much of an expense for most crew to purchase.
I see Ginger candy is listed for seasickness. I find that $0.99 worth of raw ginger from the grocery store works just as good. A single edged razor blade lets you slice off paper thin slices that you suck on for a few minutes then chew up and swallow. That is the only thing I've found that works for me.
I agree that it is nice to give small tips how ever I use $2 bills. It's only a dollar more but it will distinguish you and the crew will remember you.
Since luggage often doesn't get to the cabin early enough, I always wear a comfortable sundress or shift on embarkation day. That way I go to dinner feeling more put together, if I don't have time to change, and also cuts down on packing an extra outfit.
Good tips, thanks! I always bring crackers or something as I do need food with some meds, so I'm glad you mentioned that, thank you! I've seen people make nasty comments on videos about it because they don't understand it's necessary, not just snacks for snacking.
👋 i hope you're safe over there? I hope this year brings happiness prosperity love and peace 💞❤️🕊️🕊️ all over the world 🙏🌍 I'm originally from Canada currently living in Key West Florida☀️☀️☀️☀️and you where are you from if i may ask?💭💭
I did pack my magnet hooks in my carryon and was made to open my bag at security because they had never seen them before. And did not recognize the metal shape. So be aware of this.
I just got back from my first cruise and your tips were so helpful. We would have been very unprepared without your videos. My husband and I are now hooked on cruises and I’m already checking for deals.
I would definitely say a bathing suit and/or change of clothes is helpful. On my first cruise I flew to the port on embarkation day. It took forever to get my luggage delivered. At the sail away party I was still dressed on a hot Florida afternoon in the same long sleeve shirt and long pants I had been wearing since 4AM that morning. I watched people who were better prepared splash in the pool. I learned my lesson. The next time I had to fly on embarkation day I had a suit and a sundress with me.
Thanks for remind individuals to bring snacks, that is especially important for diabetics. I am a diabetic and ALWAYS bring small snacks so that I have them on embarkation day and on the daily excursions.
I THINK I`M YOUR #1 FAN! I WATCH YOU ALMOST DAILY TO GET READY FOR MY CRUISE. THANKYOU FOR ALL YOUR INFO! CRUISING IS THE😊😮 MOST ENJOYABLE VACATION TO ME! MY ONLY SMALL COMPLAINT IS THE FORMAL NIGHT. I WISH PEOPLE TOOK IT MORE SERIOUS!!! IT ALWAYS MADE ME FEEL LIKE ROYALTY. I NEVER FEEL LIKE THAT ANY OTHER TIME! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND GOD BLESS!!! 😊
Being a diabetic packing snacks is a great idea to prevent low blood sugar. Also don't forget your glucometer and everything that goes with it, strips, lancets , etc. ❤
For taking with or bringing home bottles of alcohol/wine I always use “Wine Wings”. They go by many different names but all work well and a must have when traveling.
For those who don't go to the pool, and for the waiting area, something to read, card games, and small video games might help make the time go by faster.
Just wanted to say that I thought that 10 days of medication was a little over kill until our friends were on a river boat cruise and got Covid. They had to spend 10 days in isolation and only had 5 days of medication. Good thing their son is a doctor and was able to get them medication. I’m now going going to carry 14 days of medication when I cruise just in case. I agree with the rest of the items you said to carry. Great video as usual.
I just bring bottles you never know especially when you leave the US it better to have the bottles especially after the fire cruise or flight trip bring your bottles
Good call with the Bonine. It works and it's inexpensive. We get some everytime we go to the US. Bonamine used to be sold in Canada but no longer is. It was replaced with Gravol with ginger with doesn't sit well with my husband.
Our last cruise embarkation was delayed for hours due to high winds. We were starving but health department regulations prohibited the cruise line from providing food in the terminal. Bring snacks!!
I always carry snacks with me. I don't even have to be traveling. I always have some kind of nut and Fruit combo packets in my purse, and many times at least a 10 G of protein power bar. I also carry water with me. I live in the south and you don't leave your house without some kind of water even if you're just driving to work.
I enjoy your videos I’ve learned so much. I would never bring expensive jewelry on vacation. I don’t know why people just don’t leave that kind of stuff at home
We bring one carryon size suitcase and one tote and always wheel our bags on and off. It’s a great timesaver and allows us to unpack as soon as we get into the stateroom and not stress about when the bags will arrive. I used to be the person who had to bring everything I owned on a cruise, two changes of clothes for each day and many pairs of shoes. I got over that and I’m so much happier and more relaxed now.
Does that work for a 2-week-total trip? We have a 9-day cruise with 4 extra days at port cities. We’re thinking we need a lot more than a carry-on and a tote.
@@Lulu-kt6gr If you pack light, focus on a color scheme so items are mix and match, limit the number of shoes you pack and plan to either use the guest laundry if they have one or send out some items to be laundered you should be fine. Rick Steves has some awesome videos on packing. I took a 29 inch hard size case and a tote to Italy for two weeks and had no issues. You can always launder your unmentionables in your cabin too.
I now pack a foldup walking cane in carryon. A small battery fan is good if hot outside along with a sunhat and that sunscreen. I put the fan on bedside stand at night so get a little airflow. Disposable Colgate small toothbrush w paste packs easily in purse or carryon. A stain remover wipe and a few wet wipes always get used. I always carry a tiny empty water bottle that can be filled when get off airplane to take meds.
Hey, thank you for your comment and tip! I have a joint condition and it's made walking in a stable way next to impossible at times, and in my mid-thirties, I found myself taking a cane on board a few years back. What a great idea to invest in a folding walking cane! To pack just in case my hips decide (because lord know -I- don't get to lol) to "go out" on me, making me a shuffling hobbling, falling mess. (I'm not quite to wheelchairs!) I love the tiny water bottle idea, too! And I already have a tiny battery fan for my cruises, so great minds think alike!
Ilana, We always wear tennis or boat shoes to board, but carry OluKais in our carry on and switch on the ship. We also carry an extra pair of underwear just in case our checked luggage doesn’t show up by dinner time. Love this video😎
My mom had a bottle of red wine break and stain her beautiful formal gown…it wasn’t even her wine 🍷 😮 apparently it stained others’ outfits as well. Princess Cruise took care of all fees and had it dry cleaned and gave her ship credit for special dinner package for the inconvenience
I always bring candy when I travel, but the importance of snacks for embarkation day was highlighted when Homeland Security had to get involved before boarding one of our cruises which delayed things by 5 hours or so. Clearance was eventually given for them to bring us snacks off the ship, but the early boarding crowd that would normally get lunch on board effectively missed a meal. Please don't forget your snacks cause anything can happen! Cruise was with Disney out of Port Canaveral, 7 day Western Caribbean back in 2007, rumor had it social security numbers didn't match when scanning checked baggage onto the ship.
California Linda shares I always bring snacks. I enjoy active excursions and I want to be sure I have power bars, trail mix and a few of my favorites such as scottie dog licorice and favored popcorn for "Movies Under the Stars". Often your favorites are not available on the ship or port, although the International Cafe has great selections. I always bring a three dozen bakery selection of chocolate chip cookies, brownie cookies and peanut butter cookies with a dipped edge in chocolate for my husband. Love cruising, and snacks are always on the packing list especially since they can be taken into port, while items from the ship are verboten.
We took my 80 year old mother with us on a Hawaiian. Raise with NCL. She’s a snacker and gets hangry fast! Saved the day with chewy granola bars and her fav almond joy snack size bars!
Once my luggage was delivered to the wrong deck. We had boarded at 11:30 and I didn’t get it until around 6:30. It wasn’t a problem because I had all the essentials. Good tips, thanks.
THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! I've been watching youtube for a while. I always hear, "Check in the description below for..." I never can find the description below. Thank you for explaining how to do that! Lol, and it works!
I had seen a magnetic pocket in a store once and bought it on a whim, it turned out to be very useful, it became where I put my eyeglasses when not wearing them.
I do love how different we are, my last cruise I had a tiny bag for embarkation day with my phone, camera, charger, passport, and some medicine, that was it. I figure as long as I have my passport, my phone and access to money, anything else can be fixed :-)
Haha we definitely are! I agree with you in principle though. The basics like passport, test results, proof of vaccine and a credit card are musts - everything else can be managed:)
I bought that dame jewelry bag before our cruise in April! I love it. Nothing got tangled and was well organized! As you recommended it in a previous video, I did get and I highly recommend it. It fits right in the safe too!!!
Thanks for all the great tips! 17 first time cruisers benefited from all your tips! My family thought I watched you too much, but were so glad I followed your tips on our first 🛳 🚢 . We were the most prepared first timers!
When we pack our wine, I always wrap each one in bubble wrap, then wrap each one in a tee shirt. Place them in the middle part of our carry on bags and we are good to go. It works every time.
You can even have the cruise line punch a hole in your key card to hook onto your lanyard instead of placing it inside the plastic protective pouch. Remember every time you purchase something onboard the ship, or order a drink I'm bored the ship, you have to give them your card, and it's a lot easier if it's on the hook
I just booked my first cruise on NCL for 2023. I'm in the process of going through all the various videos so I can ensure that my trip is smooth and I'm not missing anything. As I was watching your videos, you were taking about the lady who lost all her jewelry. Has anyone considered bringing really nice costume jewelry?? That way you can lose and it won't break the bank if you do lose it. The same with certain shoes. Sneakers and such, I just buy a cheap comfortable pair (less than $20) to walk around in. I just bought a simple pair on sale at Walmart for $7.00. Right now they are clearing their inventory to make room for back to school. I picked up a few items for my cruise in 8 months...lol! Saves me the hassle of rushing to find stuff and I can plan accordingly. Also you vent reminded people in this video that if they bring wine on-board to NOT forget to bring a corkscrew. They can get a simple at dollar tree or buy wine with a screwcap (my personal favorite)!!! Thank you so much for these tips. They are really helpful for seasoned traveller's like myself who's causing for the first time. Keep 'em coming!!
I came to my senses 30 years ago regarding expensive jewelry. I was flying to my grandmother's house to prepare it for sale after her death. It dawned on me while I was on the airplane the dollar value of jewelry that I was wearing. My thought was if this plane crashes my children won't have any of this jewelry to inherit. Plus, since I was connecting in JFK Airport my next thought was I'm a prime target to get mugged. I stopped wearing expensive jewelry. Also a wise woman once said to my cousin if people assume you have the income to buy expensive jewelry, then go out and buy the custom jewelry, because those people will think it's real gems. Lol!
When it comes to medical equipment like the cpap machine. I recommend calling rather than emailing . I personally have a ton of food allergies and found it hard to communicate my needs via email. Because it was a lot and I wanted to make sure they understood what I’m trying to say. When I gave them a call they were able to put it on I guess “my profile” or “cabin notes”. As even certain scents can set off my allergies. And it was easy took me only 30 minutes plus 10 for the wait.
My daughter-in-law and son went on a cruise while she was still nursing her baby. The cruise ship gave her a fridge/freezer to put in their room for milk that she pumped. When they left the cruise, they packed the milk in ice, etc. When they were on the plane they saw their luggage going up the ramp, leaking all the way.
I no longer pack anything full in my checked bag. I packed a new nail polish remover and it leaked on my new shoes! Fortunately the shoes soaked it up and my clothing were spared. I now empty a small bit out of the new container. I double ziploc everything liquid. ✌️
I duct tape every bottle of anything partially liquid, and put in zip lock bags (sun screen, liquid soap, etc). It has become second nature after having someones perfume leaked all over (and ruining)my stuff. The duct tape is easy to set aside and reuse on return.
Taking my wife on her first cruise Friday! So many helpful tips I’ve picked up from you over the last month watching your videos. Any Nassau Bahamas must see or do’s?
Your tips are very helpful. I have used the links to purchase a power strip and the passport holder already for my very first cruise. Thank you for being so thorough.
Pack your own extension cord to be on the safe side. More and more people of all ages are now on CPAP machines. The cruise line could run out of loaner extension cords. Also Carnival now charges you to provide distilled water to you on board the ship. You can bring your own distilled water for your CPAP machine, or you can purchase distilled water from them. Since we're already bringing on wine and soda, we did not feel like lugging distilled water as well. The cost for one gallon of distilled water on Carnival with our local tax was $3.54. So this is about a 200% markup over the cost of buying the distilled water at Walmart. However, it is convenient. Now if it only shows up on embarkation day.
Hats? For Embarkation Day? Great video for what to pack in carry on! Really Appreciate the info/tips! Too funny, I know I am already DREADING debarkation day! 🚢🎶🥳
Thank you for all your helpful information. Not knowing what to expect on embarkation day taking something to eat is a very good point because we will both need to take medication at a certain time and I definitely can’t take mine on an empty stomach or I’m sick! One of mine has to be taken a certain time apart from each dose and another if I take it too late I get restless leg. Having something to eat is not always to do with hunger pangs but necessity. I was also wondering about needing extra sockets/charging points and knowing about non surg charging block is a great help. QUESTION: can you take straighteners? Congrats on this being your full time job now, well done 👏🏻🚢⚓️
We live about 80 miles from the Gulf of Mexico ,Near Panama City Beach, Fl. As much time as we spend outdoors,( forgot we live Southeast Alabama,) Never gave any thought to using lip balm, chap stick. Thanks for Great Tip. You always have great ideas.
My wife and I are going on our first cruise (ex-Brisbane, Australia) in August this year. Your channel has been immensely helpful in educating us on what we need to consder regarding luggage and even on boarding. Thank you.
I would LOVE to see FAR more videos about the realities of packing CPAPs/BiPAPs, nebs, vests, O2/BP/glucose monitors, injectors, medications... medical equipment for travel, tips, wheelchair/ rollators/scooter transport, rental, storage, charging, equipment for WC/rollators/scooters, tips for those with injectable meds, accessible clothes for injections, snacks for Diabetics/Hypo patients, transporting injectable meds/refrigeration meds through Customs & security, braces or air casts, best injectable meds cold kits, medication refrigerators, bed shakers, CC/TTY, AA devices, readers, Braille equipment, etc. Service animals, companion fares, dialysis on board... Plus the great equipment question - borrow or bring? Where are resources available, where are they not? Those who brag about having "minimal luggage" (as if packing "small" is a contest, not a preference) seem rather oblivious the needs of others - like sick/disabled folx, families with kids, or kids in diapers, people who are tube fed or on TPN, severe food allergies, medications, equipment, anyone who isn't a local or an American... etc. Packing *more* isn't inferior or stupid... So much advice from vloggers is incredibly centered on those within driving distance to ports or attractions, because that's who most of the vloggers are. But that's not who cruisers are.
Illana, I enjoy your videos but find the volume is too low with my laptop at maximum. My hearing is fine and it's easier to lower volume than be unable to increase it.
I have had my checked luggage confiscated with my 2 allowed bottles of wine in it. (I take bubble wrap with me and wrap the bottles- so far so good as far as leakage or breakage. We use it for liquor or wine that we buy duty free for coming back to Canada) Most cruise lines want you to have it in hand as you board the ship. Rules regarding this change all the time, so what applies one cruise may not by the time you take another cruise.
Great videos. Thank you so much!! Questions...if your laptop/purse are in your carry on and you have just boarded early...what do you do with it when you are swimming at the pool? Or can you leave those safely in your room after boarding? Even if your suitcase has not yet arrived? Also are there always safes?

can I take my permitted wine in my carry on?
Bring a small journal to jot down specific events and things that you liked .sometimes its hard to remember everything
I did this for my Hawaii trip and I am so glad I did!

What if we already did gratuity with our travel agent?
What a wonderful act of kindness!
We always do the same will be going on a cruise in 20 days can wait
That's so thoughtful.

Would drinking alcoholic beverages have a negative effect???
Well I don’t have seasick meds. I have the oil and patches and wrist band 🤔 so could the oil the day before, during and everyday work

Don't travel
It’s a blessing to continue to travel as an older person…
Royal Caribbean gives you an extension cord for c-pap. Distilled water too.
God bless you both. I'm glad that you and your husband still travel and enjoy yourselves. Take care ❤
im soooo excited .. 3 days til cruise day

Excellent points about getting a rider policy on specific items.
Fantastic response here! I’m definitely leaving my “real” jewelry at home.
Better yet, don't bring items you would worry about getting stolen. There are plenty of good fakes you could bring, instead.
@@dianaott Good idea.

Thanks for mentioning. It’s definitely important
People get their panties in a bunch over things that don’t concern them. It’s so weird and unnecessary.

Amazing cruise! Enjoy every minute 🎉

This is great!
so it's safe to say I do t have to give the porters my bag and I can bring my bag when allowed on board. first cruiser here..
@@angeliquehill4605 good advice thanks
I now pack a foldup walking cane in carryon. A small battery fan is good if hot outside along with a sunhat and that sunscreen. I put the fan on bedside stand at night so get a little airflow. Disposable Colgate small toothbrush w paste packs easily in purse or carryon. A stain remover wipe and a few wet wipes always get used. I always carry a tiny empty water bottle that can be filled when get off airplane to take meds.
Super! Thanks for sharing
We are doing Alaska Cruise mid July. Would you take a fan?
As well as my medications, I take the prescriptions too in case of losses on the trip. I can then go to any pharmacy to replace the meds.
Thank you for being the first person to explain how to find the ‘description box’. I never knew how to find the darned thing. Great video!
Lol I’m glad! I know it’s not obvious and a lot of people wonder :)
You have some great ideas for packing. I love the video about how to pack using only a carryon. I love it!! Thank you!
We used SeaBands to prevent motion sickness, and they worked great. I carried sanitizing wipes, and used them on the seat dividers on the plane...
Sew kit I brought one
This is smart!!
We took my 80 year old mother with us on a Hawaiian. Raise with NCL. She’s a snacker and gets hangry fast! Saved the day with chewy granola bars and her fav almond joy snack size bars!
Snacks I agree are essential. Crabbiness easily spreads
En el momento en que vi el bolso HIDUPZ , supe que tenía que tenerlo.
You can pack gum certs chocolatebars.
Love the grey bag! It's amazing! I use it all the time.
My little rule for having valuable items in my carry on is gently does it so that nothing breaks
I’m that way on other vacations, but I’m so afraid of being caught without something I need and having no way of getting it.
I think a mini first aid kit might be helpful or at least access to pain reliever.
Good idea!
Yes, it's a must-have tylenol ibuprofen band-aid neosporin. Allergy med and just in case the good sinus pressure medication. Your set
Great video! I bring just 2 or 3 jewelries in zip lock bag in carry on bag
I bought that dame jewelry bag before our cruise in April! I love it. Nothing got tangled and was well organized! As you recommended it in a previous video, I did get and I highly recommend it. It fits right in the safe too!!!
So glad you like it!!
Just got off the Allure of the Sea. Cabin steward gave us a gallon of distilled water for my husband’s cpap. That was great.
Thanks for all the great tips! 17 first time cruisers benefited from all your tips! My family thought I watched you too much, but were so glad I followed your tips on our first 🛳 🚢 . We were the most prepared first timers!
Love it!! You can never watch too much cruise content 😉. Best comment ever! 😂
I place my use cables and plug in a waist pouch ,which is placed in my backpack as carry on luggage .
I plan on bringing retevis walkie talkies
May I Ask Why?
When we pack our wine, I always wrap each one in bubble wrap, then wrap each one in a tee shirt. Place them in the middle part of our carry on bags and we are good to go. It works every time.
I didn’t know you could carry on a bottle of wine. How do they let you board with all that liquid?
Thank you I was wondering about this!
Can it be any type of wine?
Afrin, Flonase or a sinus nasal spray before we fly so our sinuses don’t get the pressure in our heads
You’re videos are helping me so much with preparing for my cruise this weekend!
Have an amazing cruise! So glad the videos have been helpful:)
Thanks for all your advice and suggestions I have been on 10 cruises and I am Canadian as well and always learn our area reminded of some great tools
We just came back from a May HAL cruise to Alaska. Very cool in the 40s and low 50s if you like it cool. Plan your packing for your location.
Thanks Sharon for sharing your Alaska experience
You can even have the cruise line punch a hole in your key card to hook onto your lanyard instead of placing it inside the plastic protective pouch. Remember every time you purchase something onboard the ship, or order a drink I'm bored the ship, you have to give them your card, and it's a lot easier if it's on the hook
Is it a laminated keycard? I guess it must be like a credit card…
Punching a hole in the card is no longer allowed.
You’re right. Thanks for sharing your personal experience
It could be because Airlines don’t let you take ice. We were asked to dump it out and take ice packs
Your videos are simply "the best"... We love it, Thanks for all the information that you share with us... "abrazos desde Panama"
What are the best 'Hacks' or best ways to use Princess Cruises On Board Credits
Some places were you may decide to do the beach, you have to have a certain sunscreen. Check with your cruiseline.
I’ll be buying the nautical bag soon 👍🏻
I no longer pack anything full in my checked bag. I packed a new nail polish remover and it leaked on my new shoes! Fortunately the shoes soaked it up and my clothing were spared. I now empty a small bit out of the new container. I double ziploc everything liquid. ✌️
Wow! Thanks for sharing. I wouldn’t have thought of this one
Get the pads wrapped in foil. My travel remover. No chance of leaking. I just throw left overs away traveling back.
Snacks. Definitely Snacks!!! I've only been on 3 cruises but I learned after the first one. SNACKS!!
Your tips are very helpful. I have used the links to purchase a power strip and the passport holder already for my very first cruise. Thank you for being so thorough.
I’m so glad the tips are helpful!
We only do carry-on as we get free laundry
Smart! I definitely will pack lighter on my next princess cruise for a similar reason
I have that same jewelry case just in a different color. I can vouch it’s a great item!
Thanks for sharing your experience Erika
Thankyou for your great tips, they really did come in handy, happy crusiers.
I also had my jewelry taken from my back it was a last minute pull from me at boarding desk. :(
What? Do you mean it wasn't allowed? Or it was stolen?
YES to snacks!😃
Thankyou Ileana, so grateful for your info
Hats? For Embarkation Day? Great video for what to pack in carry on! Really Appreciate the info/tips! Too funny, I know I am already DREADING debarkation day! 🚢🎶🥳
Very useful information thanks for the videos I have watched them all since this will be our 1st cruise since 1998 😝
Thank you for all your helpful information.
Can you use a standard carryon (like the Away Bigger Carry On) for embarkation day?
We live about 80 miles from the Gulf of Mexico ,Near Panama City Beach, Fl. As much time as we spend outdoors,( forgot we live Southeast Alabama,) Never gave any thought to using lip balm, chap stick. Thanks for Great Tip. You always have great ideas.
So glad you got a tip lol, even as someone who lives in the heat:)
Good to know! 😊
New subscriber here, eh? I'm Canadian & love your vibe & content! About to book our 1st cruise soon for next spring! Downloaded your book, too! Thanks
My Cruise Power strip No surge protector was confiscated by Royal Caribbean on embarkation
Very informative…Thank You 🎉
Illana, I enjoy your videos but find the volume is too low with my laptop at maximum.
Thanks for sharing
Do you usually bring both your carry on luggage (spinner) AND your carry on nautical bag? Or just the bag?
On princess there's a check off box on the food page for allergies to get distilled water in the room
Thanks for sharing that info :)
Great videos. Thank you so much!!
Questions...if your laptop/purse are in your carry on and you have just boarded early...what do you do with it when you are swimming at the pool? Or can you leave those safely in your room after boarding? Even if your suitcase has not yet arrived? Also are there always safes?
I’m looking for a carry on that goes over the luggage but is also on rollers so that I don’t need to ever lug a tote over my shoulder.
