- This is the Red Dead Redemption port that came out recently on the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. It follows the story of John Marston a former outlaw as he is forced to capture and kill his former gang to save his family. On this part John confronts Javier Escuella and Bill Willamson.

Francisco I. Madero was the first rebel leader who took charge against the Mexican dictator Porfirio Diaz. He’s from a wealthy family. Rich background alright. He led the rebels towards Mexico City in 1911. The first wave war of the revolution ousted Diaz from power. And had installed Madero. Until he was assassinated in 1913 from a coup.
Also he’s a twist about Madero. It seems the reason that he was able to take charge against Diaz was because he can communicate with spirits. Supposedly with the spirit of Benito Juarez and his deceased brother. Very crazy somewhat.

Can someone tell me what's happening? I have been trying to load this video for 10 minutes straight but its not loading. Internet connection is fine. This happened to me so many times that a video refuse to load.
@@beingadeeb2345 it happened to me too, came up with something along the lines of “can’t load stream, retry”. It finally got to work when I clicked the video a 3rd time, idk why it happened but that’s how it is. 🤷♂️

Fun fact: corrido is a regional music genre in Mexico in which the lyrics do contain a lot of things to do wit real life sometimes praising cartels and other times writing lyrics that bash them also the genre is exactly like like American gangster Rap
I know your pain Pro, it took me so many attempts jus to properly jump off the wagon and be far enough from the explosion. That part of the missions was just so dreadful to me ngl
"Riot" is the worst "mission" in GTA: SA. Say whatever you want to say about Zero's mission but they, at the very least, are missions. But Riot is not.

Theres lot of dialogue between John and Javier if you don't rush through mission and go slowly after capturing him , he talks about Dutch and their past in RDR2 it's pretty cool
After playing RDR2, I'm playing this and it feels like DLC connecting all the plots

After completing the 2nd game, I was unable to kill Javier, because I felt that John owed his life to him, because he and Arthur saved his life from the wolves in the mountain 12 years ago.
I mean Javier rode with Dutch, Bill, and Micah to try to kill both Arthur and John. I think they’re even at this point.
I didn't kill him cuz there was no point to it

Javier wasn't entirely as bad as someone like Micah, he didn't aim his gun at John when the Pinkertons stormed their camp
He aimed at Arthur just before the shooting starts but everyone ignores it for some reason

The first time I played Red Dead Redemption, the first coach dialouge I listened to without skipping. Something was telling me to listen. I listened to every single one for the rest of the game after that. Glad I did. Explains like half of the story of these characters😂
Fun fact: you can buy a newspaper in the game that says that after Abraham reyes become the president. He become a tyrant.
What I really, really enjoy about your playthroughs is how you add tidbits of real life information you know about alongside what’s happening in the plot at that moment + your overall thoughts on the characters and narrative. Makes watching these much more entertaining past a simple “person plays game”. Think you’d be willing to play through RDR2 the way you did this one? Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on its story now that it’s been a while since it originally released.
Professional. Would you consider doing a video about the real life story of the Mexican revolution and how rdr 1 parodies its historical figures and such?
In the game there's an area in Mexico where you can find and tame a white stallion. It takes a while to find one but you will eventually. I don't know where that area is located but it's near hills and rocks.
Also the sad thing about what Abraham said about the Asians, the Asian people in America like in the US were treated like 3rd class citizens who weren't even allowed to enter a bus and in swimming pools they were the 3rd and last to be allowed to enter into them. They were even locked in US camps under suspicion of being Japanese spies.

If you’re talking about the Japanese internment camps, that happened in ww2. The internment camps were meant only for Japanese Americans, not Chinese, or Vietnamese, or Koreans, or Thai or whatever. There was also proven cases of Japanese Americans spying for the Japanese empire, that’s how the Japanese knew when and where to strike on Pearl Harbor.

Very fond of the history lesson tangents! It's good to understand the historical context the game is parodying, makes some of the references I otherwise would've missed a lot more clear! 😮

With a poncho silently blowing in the wind he steps back from his mount with a pleased look on his face, a cold smile, and a satisfied gesture to his brothers in arms.
Celebrating in the wake of the death of your own brothers which lie in pools of their own blood around you and they cannot swim.
The echos still ringing in your ears, the memories playing like daydreams covering your eyes.
Buzzing, deafness, regret, and anticipation but trapped by your own cacophony of death.
Numb but you feel.
Deaf but you hear.
Their bodies become cover, become your safety, your opportunity,
and become your imprisonment to your fate of the men around you.

42:13 the dueling is pretty easy to me and you can win it with only 2 shots. You push down the LT or L2 right when it says "Draw" then move the crosshair to their head then press R1/RT right when the crosshair shrinks/focuses to place the first hit and then wait for the crosshair to shrink again then place another hit and if you time that right, your bar will already be full

The revolutionary Reyes resembles the most is likely Francisco Madero. Both share similar amounts of wealth and land through family, while also being tought in Europe for a short period of time. Though also sharing similarities to others such as Emilliano Zapata, Panacho Villa as well as Venustiano Carranza.

When I first played this long ago, I had no idea the history visually of Dutch “outlaws for life” was.
After playing the prequel RDR2 I understand more. This conversation between Javier & was felt painful and while I knew John had no choice it was sad & officially the gang we once knew was gone. They were gone before but this was official. Sad to feel this. If only Dutch didn’t go insane or changed and went against Author & John.
Gatling gun was around in 1899 & I didn’t know it existed.
Reyes is a parody of Francisco madero who overthrew Porfirio Díaz and then was himself overthrown and killed in a coup
Professional, the dual system is pretty easy. You don’t spam the fire button but you time it carefully whenever the crosshairs do that shrink animation it’ll boost the win rate significantly. I always thought that spamming = win but I was wrong

Here’s the thing and I found myself thinking about it many videos ago. Pro always talks about the storyline’s lore and everything and in this play through, of a game which I’m absolutely sure he knows a lot about he doesn’t, and doesn’t express an opinion of Williamson and Escuella.

I'm sure he'll do a lore on the events of RDR 1 and RDR 2. Keep in mind RDR 2 is a prequel to RDR 1.

Man after playing rdr2 rdr1 becomes more clear like the day you understand how they went from good buddies to enemies how the pinkertons tricked John into working for the government while in reality he was just being cleansed like the rest of them that's the sad part of it all.

How is this game 13 years old? It's aged really well! Rockstar are on another level.
I wish RDR2 did a bit more with Javier, perhaps a Mexico story dlc would do the trick. I would love to see how he went from a somewhat decent guy to what he became in RDR1. I just never understood why he sided with Dutch and Micah cause he seemed very genuine throughout the early stages of the game unlike Bill.
And Javier didn’t really point his gun at John or Arthur he just keep it pointing in the sky. He didn’t want to shoot them he knew they were his brothers.
Javier and also Bill didn't side with Micah they sided with Dutch, The only reason why it looked like they were siding with Micah is because they were standing alongside Dutch and Micah at that final standoff but there were just doing that because they were still fully loyal to Dutch, If Dutch hadn't sided with Micah over Arthur and John well then that whole situation would've been very different

In my head canon, I would make red dead redemption canon with the us gta universe. As well as maybe to capcoms universe due to the red dead revolver game originally published by capcom itself and without it, we wouldn’t have red dead redemption 1 and 2. Done by rockstar.
Idk if I'd like that tbh, Red Dead has always had a far more serious tone relative to GTA.
The only GTA continuity that'd make sense within Red Dead's writing would be GTA 4 and its DLC and then maybe 3, Vice City and San Andreas... But even San Andreas would be REALLY pushing it considering the things that happen in that game's story.
Truly the Chinese had it hard dealing with all the hard work in America and Mexico. Dealing with infrastructure. And the treatment from their host people.

Did RS do something screwy to the original game when this PS5 version came out?
I fired up my PS3 and tried playing (have had digital version on the drive for years), immediately got greeted with an "update".
Suddenly, all of John's guns are gold, and the display contrast looks way off. Various other visual hitches. And this is starting New Game, I erased the previous saves.
Anyone else have this issue?
