I would be so screwed trying to figure out how to cut this down properly! The skill required to cut down these big trees is underrated!
Very well done, thank you. You are one of the best I have ever seen. I have worked in wood this size and you make something highly complex look easy.I also used a 36" bar but most of the guys I worked with used a 42".

Hey Bjarne, do ever plan on making you Power Wedge available in 8” or 10”. Other than where you are right on the West Coast, a 10” Wedge is sufficient for the rest of Canada and probably 90% of the US also. Great vid as usual. Play safe!!
That was spectacular, great filming from two angles and a fantastic edit, @ 47:57 The clump of slash that was lifted into the air by the helicopter rotor wash then drifted back down onto the blades to get shredded up looked impressive. Excellent share, superb felling, cheers, Bjarne.

Wow 💩 at 40:49 that camera angle suddenly puts things in perspective! I had no idea that there was NO earth on the other side of that cedar, I knew the tree sat on a slope but I didn’t know there was nothing behind it! I amazes me that that giant cedar could stand up.
Ok I paused the video when I saw that. I’ll go and watch the remaining 8 minutes of this, I’m sure it’ll be an amazing felling of this giant cedar. Thanks again Bjarne for another great video.

Hey Bjarne, I'm just curious why you don't have another saw with a 50 or 60" bar to fall and buck some of those huge cedars? I realize those big saws and bars are heavy, but wouldn't it save some time rather than having to cut windows to try and reach all the holding wood?

By spotting the tree against the far hillside rocks and trees, we viewers could notice the tree moving and rocking side to side even before you cut the big window.
