I am obsessed with looking for things to press into clay or use as moulds, maybe a lot obsessed as I keep finding things in drawers that I didn't know I had! 😍😘
Ooh! How fun! I’d love to hear how you like the brushes? I spend so much on brushes and they never last long. I swear some of my expensive brushes have about half the hair they came with!! I love the idea of using stamps on clay. I used to do a LOT of scrapbooking and papercrafting! I’ve used some of my stamps but of course I have found so many things to use for textures in clay. My favorite right now are the vinyl placemats. I found some on temu! They also have vinyl coasters that are great! Thanks so much for sharing everything. I LOVE the Oreo cookie! I have 73 food allergies/ sensitivities and thankfully Oreo makes gluten free dairy free cookies, but I have to watch how often I buy them!!
I think the brushes will be great, I have other similar synthetic brushes that work really well, the Temu ones are thicker so I have high hopes. There are so many ways to texture aren't there, Everything I look at in shops these is about will it give texture or shape😅 there are some crossovers with other creative things too which is a bonus like the stamps, a lot of people have a card making stash. Go glad you can have special oreos, nice to be able to have a little treat. Mine will be calorie free 🤣
I'd never heard of them before you mentioned. I think like buying local to support local businesses but you've found some items I've not seen in the UK. Always great when you find something totally news you've not found locally. Good find!! I'll be checking them out too 😊
It is great to support local as you say but they don't always have the variety and it's good to get the unusual ones too it adds to the variety of the pottery 😊

Hi Julia... for those silicone molds, try oil, like EVOO or oil cooking spray. It works like magic and bonus: cleanup won't wash away your clay when. You are adhering the sprig to your piece.
