I love the slow mo shots of the releases from going straight to moving left. The difference of going end over end basically and going really straight to moving way left and creating more rotation is sick to see and you can really see the differences in how he released the ball each time!!! Quality stuff
I definitely need to see a Hustle MM versus Brunswick Rhino comparison. Especially on dry burnt up lanes.

I love the hustle line I believe it's the best entry ball or ball down in league by far.
My first "official" (hookable) ball was the Black Widow, I don't remember which exactly, but it was a pearl, then the Idol. The idol is a VERY forgiving ball, so in my opinion, it is a great beginner ball. In my opinion

I've been using my Hustle Ink for years. it's my best "go to" ball. It's at 13 pounds.
My Camo was supposed to replace my Inc, as my Inc is getting very old. However the Camo is at 14 pounds, and is now my 4-7 spare ball because it just hooks so much. I can easily control it to get the 4-7 pins, but i can't keep it under control for my strike shots.
After the last 3 weeks of bowling nothing but 12 and 13 pound balls, and hitting 20+ my average each game, rather than when i'm using 13-14 pound balls, I'm thinking of selling my 14 pound balls and just getting a 13 pound RIP and a 13 pound M+M and then calling it a day forever until this gear fails me.
Enjoying my pitch black took some getting used to the urethane though haha. Good content again!!

Just bought a hustle ink that has a semi long pin for a 40 flat pattern. I threw ut on the burn standing on 19 and then the fresh same spot reacted the same both times. Good ball

Was told the hustle rip is great for light oil lanes on a house shot. Dunno what else to get for those type of conditions so hope its true.

Was thinking about getting a hustle for transition between 2nd and 3rd game but idk which one I like the m&m but the RIP seems more what I'm actually looking for. I'm a house shot league Bowler mid 180's average (because I need a good transition ball to keep 200 pace in 3rd game)
What would you suggest for wrist-strengthening exercises? I broke mine when I was little and then sprained it the first time bowling with my new balls.

What ball would you recommend for a senior bowler with a good release, decent revs, but relatively slow speed (12.5-13 mph)? Averaging 190. Trying to get that up over 200.
I could definitely use a hustle ball, especially after how I bowled today at my tournament. I need to learn how to throw the ball that close to gutter, how do you do it?

How fast do you throw? I have the M+M, and I have to throw it slow, mainly on medium oil or lanes that have the oil spread out, just to get some action. On dry lanes, I can get coast to coast action, though.

@@carterwyd-_- honestly the most impactful thing for a beginner is approach. There’s a lot of good tutorials about the five step approach that will cover natural front to back swings and releases. I really recommend getting coaching as well from a pro shop as you’re starting off and writing notes. From there you should film yourself and adjust accordingly. That alone will get you to a point where you’re happy with your improvement
Some extra advice that stuck with me if you wanna keep reading is
•have fun, bowling is a game and you’re more so playing with people and against yourself in order to get better
•always take your time and deep breath before a shot
• don’t overwhelm yourself with too much knowledge at once, the game is pretty simple and learning one thing at a time will make things more instinctual
That’s how I’ve had the most success bowling with my m+m i got a couple weeks ago. Far right and closer to the gutter, and a lot more straight than everybody else in my league. I wonder why he keeps saying hell never bowl that way again ?? Is it bad. ?
@@corneliusmason6819 definitely not bad. norm duke did it for his entire career. when he retired, 40 titles, 10 majors. maybe darren isn't that comfortable with being that close to the gutter.

You assume incorrectly. You choose a ball based on your game... ball speed, rev rate, axis rotation and tilt, and of course the lane conditions you typically bowl on. How many hands you happen to use is irrelevant.
