Hopefully they get the problem with the check valve in the water injection line figured out quick. Parts are not available and I had to buy parts from the car seen that have methanol injection systems. The little check valve has a leaking issue and have seen several drain the whole tank into crank case over night. Just sent one out of shop this morning with snow performance check valve inline. Customers have great reports of the new sled other than the issue I stated.
Good review. I’m noticing snow conditions comments. Sketchy across most of Canada. Generally speaking. Newfoundland may be good finally. Labrador good. Most of the Maritimes have had storms finally but snow is wet with the warm temps. North of the 49th mostly poor. Pockets here & there. The steep & deep even subpar although still great riding in certain areas like Fernie. The Rockies are getting more snow finally & it can dump a lot quickly. North of the 57th consistent snow.
@@johnprettie2348 if they installed them on the wrong sides they will hit. Resi needs to be forward facing. My guess is when it was assembled it was incorrect.
The MXZ XRS also has the Pro 40's all around for 2024. They just aren't Kashima. Would the Kashima really make that big of a difference on handling? I doubt it.. Could be suspension valving / different spring rates vs the regular XRS?
lol at the "must use skidoo methanol/water mix" part. Methanol/water ratio mixed at home is going to be the same as whatever they're selling at, most likely, an elevated price.
The wife and I just got back from Aroostook County in Maine and our 4 day trip turned into a day and a half trip. Very low snow conditions, ice, mud, dirt, rocks.
Normally I love watching the videos. But seeing people snowmobiling this year makes me sad. This winter has been record setting worst ever for my area.
Are you talking to us or the snow gods? Please go outside and do a little snow dance for us because that key ingredient is all we're waiting for to get this race done. Right now it'd be a grass drag.
@@snowtrax if I recall you had both sleds sitting next to each other in the snow while you talked about them for 20 minutes. I dont know a set of guys on earth that would have those two sleds and not race them ASAFP.
@@danmackey9462 We explained it several times in the comments on that video if you want to check it out. We didn't have a straightaway long enough to drag these sleds and neither one was past break-in yet. The intention was to have these on site and do this as soon as we could this season, but winter never happened. Hoping this cold blast and snow expected in the next couple weeks will be enough to freeze up the lakes and lay enough snow down for us. If it is, you'll see this race and more.
Boost is faster stock vs stock(with studs). My comp has 144 studs and my buddy’s boost has 96 studs and the boost eats it from a dig and a roll every time no matter the conditions.
The Trump train has a v-16 2 stroke with 850 CID per cylinder and makes 13,500 hp @ 1150 rpm. It burns liquid hydrogen and amsoil inteerceptor drys ump oil injection.
Here first!!! Let’s get this comment pinned!!! Love Snowtrax!!!!!
There ya go!

They should’ve saved the Mach Z name for this sled
Now, could you imagine this powerplant with an updated front end
Love your insights. Keep up the great work buddy 👍
Appreciate that! 🙏

Why are there dents in the plastic above the front shock adjusters? Are they on the correctly.
Yeah, that looks like the knob hits the side panels for sure. But there’s no way it hit that, weird.

Luke...how do you feel this front end handles compared to Lynx Rave? I believe its the same setup.
AJ's review of the RAVE RE is going up soon!
It's a shame we don't get as many snow days down in Southern Ontario anymore and if I could justify buying another sled I'd be all over it 🤙

How does it do im back country mountain riding
Probably not that great...
When was this filmed and you could have at least closed the left side panel right
Bought a new xrs 850 last year haven’t gotten to ride it once this season… thanks Ontario! 🖕🏻
Weather sucks so bad.

Come mountain riding

How's the snow out there this year?

Same here in Wisconsin. we had 1 GOOD week with open trails and then everything thawed. Hopefully next year will be better (but I honestly doubt it)
I so want one !!!
Skidoos sit higher in the front. The upper arms are not flat at ride height. Taller front spindles would make these ride as good as the other sleds.
We are making riding to complicate what to having fun .
And way too expensive
But is it exciting enough that my 12 year old won’t get bummed out trying to hang with my Polaris ? She’s got a competitive side like her Mother !
Yellow tunnels and belly pans suck. They are impossible to keep clean between brake dust and exhaust soot. Awesome sled though.
Wait. 200+ HP coming.....
Lol it would be so unreliable. Just get a 270 ho 4 stroke that has way more torque
Race it against the boost already.

Neat, I'll let the beta testers spend their money on this one getting it figured out.
The shocks has always been underwhelming on ski-doo
To think I was happy with 55 horse power..lol
And it will still be slower than a Cat!
People still ride arctic cat? Yikes.

I would never buy a new sled they are all dogs a old turbo apex will destroy them all.
