- While primary construction was done as of the last video, I still had some little bits to do. We still have some "beautification" projects to do (put in flowers, etc.), but the primary job is done. My part is done.
Thanks to all who watched this series. I appreciate the good vibes and support on my postings.
Hi Anthony, a fabulous job very well done, you have created an amazing space in which to relax. My father was not big on DIY home improvements so I never gain any skills from him, what I have found most interesting is watching you with this build and the little tips and hints you have shown. Many thanks for showing your videos.
Hi Colin! Thanks for such nice words! We spent the weekend putting in plants, so now it is completely done- other than waiting for the flowers to grow.
Very nice! The weather has been very wet this spring, that is for sure. The deck turned out great. Thanks for sharing the process.
Thanks for watching! We got all the plants in this weekend, so now it is time to enjoy it!
Excellent job, looks great. Wishing you good weather to enjoy it now. Those handrails really make it pop, nice touch.
Thank you. That was very kind, much appreciated!
I redid our deck many moons ago, and I have to say it is a nice feeling when relaxing on it, that this is the deck I built
I have had that feeling... enjoyed the old deck for years, especially morning before it got too hot and having a quiet breakfast out there. In the evening... too hot and too many bugs.
Hard work, looks awesome. Thanks for sharing. Dave
Thanks for watching, Dave.
Excellent work Anthony. Hopefully you will get the weather to use it this summer, with all the family around. Regards Tom
Hi Tom. The weather is just insane. More rain today. We were supposed to get some sun and clouds today after the rain, but the sun came out briefly a couple times, and then it clouded right back over. Still, I got the lawn mowed and Joyce and I plant flowers. Cheers!
Looks fantastic hopefully the weather will change soon and you and the family can enjoy all your hard work 👍
Ducked the raindrops and got some new flowers and plants in today... more to go! Thanks for the kind comments!
Now for the better bit... you all get to enjoy it, super job.
Not yet... flower planting time! lol Oh, and building Joyce's Mother's Day gift!
Always good to see the end of a project, usually in time to start again on something else
Hi Clive. True words... I am now working on the yard and garden with new flowers.
Hello Anthony!
Firstly really cool car!
Really enjoyed this series of videos and wow incredible work 👏
Take care all the best
Hiya, Deano! Thanks for everything! Yeah, I like my Charger... it is a fast and powerful car. Not great on gas, but I enjoy the speed and horsepower. lol
An amazing piece of work. And all done by your good self. Start enjoying it now. Take care..all the best.
Hello and thank you kindly, Tim! Yes, more than any other project, this really was a ME job. It was weird. Normally I have more help, but not nowadays.
Looking very nice and cool video of the process. Have a wonderful upcoming weekend.(Steve)
Thank you and have a great weekend yourself! Hopefully some good railfanning for you!
@@ModelTrainOutsider Your welcome, Thank you also. Jenny and I were out catching our CP steam train which that premier will be next Saturday evening on our channel so yes it's been a good fanning week. Thank yo9u very much also.
@@StormySkyRailProductions Cool!
Hi Anthony absolutely fantastic job 10 out of 10 looks great. Colin
Thank you, Collin! Very kind of you to say so!
Looks great Anthony.
Yeah, it's been a wet May here so far too. As you say, it makes it hard to do work outside with such variable weather.
I bet you're glad that job is finished.
Well done that man. 👍
Thank you very much, Mon! Now we are doing the flowers and replacing the lost plants. lol
Hi Anthony, I have really enjoyed you Deck Building episodes I wish I was as skilled as you Regards Greg
Hi, Greg! Thanks for the good vibes and comment! I am not that skilled, but I had the basics hammered into me. And, it is my 5th deck build. It is more getting on the same page with Joyce on what see wants and what I want and how far we will go. My happiest part was finding the substructure all in tact and in excellent shape. Only two cosmetic fascia boards were damaged and needed replacing. Cheers and take care!
Great job. I hope this will be the last deck you have to build. Bill and Janet from California
I hope so too; Bill and Janet, if this one lasts as long as the others, I will have to pay someone to replace it next time.
Congratulations.✔️ And good finishing Job.I have a router too.
Hi, Arthur! ROuters are a very useful tool. Thanks for the support and good vibes!
Thats a nice final result after all the work you put into it. Congratulations!
Now it is adding the flowers, which we did quite a bit today. In the video I said it was Joyce's job... became mine today. lol
Excellent work mate, deck looks proper nice, professional. You n Joyce can enjoy your deck now, great place to relax. Job well done.
Hello and thanks for the nice comments, Brian! Now it is time for the new flowers to replace what we had to take out to fix everything!
