- Looking at some wild cards in my Model Train collection. Sometimes we get more than one version of a certain loco, so I look at the multiples I have picked up and try to decide which hand is the best. DO your video or play along with mine and pick the best hand here!

Dear Anthony, you ask the question: will I get more? - well the answer is simple, yes you will, simply because you are now certainly bitten by the modeltrain bug. And that infection you will never get rid of.

Oh, I will get more locos... will I get more Vectrons or 218s? Only time will tell.

My favourite 218 is the classic cream and ocean blue.
My favourite Vectron is the Marklin 249.
My favourite Taurus is the Austrian Red.
Railjet.
My favourite 146/2
Is the ICE 2 livery.
My favourite 101 is the red DB livery.
My favourite all time is the Red Railjet closely followed by the Blue Railjet.

Hiya, Deano. Thanks for the input. I was wondering which class had the best liveries as a group, too. Like, I think the Vectrons stand out for their variety of colors.

I was just enjoying the multiple liveries... like on 43s and 37s. It is cool to see so many variations.
Hi Anthony! Great collection and multiples!! I am a great fan of the diesels and steams, but more and more I like the electrics and the modern ones with the advertising are sooooo attractive....so I would have to admit, the 5 Vectrons are my favorite group here....if you had a few more 101s, I would have probably chosen them....I like all the different variations available and hence I collected a few over the years.....The Taurus group is very nice, but so are ALL the locos!👍👍
I just love the models which have such variation in liveries. The Vectrons especially just have so many styles and ad liveries.
To many choices for me to pick it's either your vectrons or the taurus. very nice collection you have.

Hi Anthony, the Class 218s are my favorite European Diesels, thanks for showing your collection. Wonderful liveries on the Taurus Electric Locos, you have a very colorful set. The 146 Electric Locos are a good looking Loco and have a great cab design. The Class101 is a fine looking Loco but not as good looking as the 146. I am biased towards the Diesels so the 218s are my choice from your fleet. All the best, Paul.🚄🚅🚆🚈👍👍🙏
To be honest, I find it difficult to distinguish between the various TRAXX models (101, 146s, 185-186, etc.) I just enjoy how the 101, Taurus (e64), Vectrons, and 218s come in such assorted liveries.

Nice collection. I also have some locomotives in multiple liveries but I collet era III and IV hence there are limited options. I have multiple locomotives for 103 (E03), 110 (E10) and variations, 141 (E41), 140 (E40), 260 (V60), 151, 212, 220 and a few more non German. That is, the locomotives I dreamed off when I was a kid, a teen and a young man and I couldn’t have.
Sounds great... historical changes or multiple liveries of the same loco would be cool to see.
This feeling of desire of will never end ... where will always be another one ... always ...have fun
But... what kind!

The Royal Flush wins every time.. I must admit I do like the Taurus, a very sleek looking locomotive. With saying that, I did finally after so many years of, "I'm gunna get that" got the electric engine I always wanted that I fell in love with when I first saw it when I was 10 years old. Everyone has their favourite locomotive.
"Royal FLush?" Why are we talking King Charles' loo habits and peculiarities??? Seriously, I am just wondering which group of locos folks find the most colorful... the 218s, the Taurus, the Vectrons. I am also encouraging folks to put out their "same loco, different liveries" collections.

My European collection is still very primative.....lol But stay tuned...lol

That's an interesting approach. I realize that I have a bunch of locos of the same class in multiple liveries, and it would probably be cool to compare them. I've also been thinking about doing something similar with trains like the Orient Express or TEE, and look at the historical evolution...
The historical aspect of certain trains/lines would also be cool.

Indeed. 37s come in so many variations, which is what I am about- the livery or corporate schematics! The 43s as well.
