I just realized the Chaos easter egg added in P-06 actually now lends credence to how the sea is parting in the mach speed section. Sure Chaos is an omen and there to shield the Chao, but Chaos knows Sonic, and therefore helps him. (Something similar happened in the Archie(?) comics)
I think it’s only windows sadly, and just look up sonic p06 download, it will take you to chaosx’s video of the silver release, there’s a Google link in the description. Upon downloading you’ll need to unzip it, after that you should be able to run it
sonic 06 has the bones of what could have been a pretty good game. Sonic adventure 2 is not a perfect or non buggy game but at launch it was amazing and still is in some ways. 06 had potential but never got touched again. Funny tho, Shadow Generations would include this stage and make it actually fast and fun.

I'm having problems when sonic is near trails of rings, it won't let me dash but attack bouncing on the floor
Is it just me or does silver's teleport dash seems faster than how it is now in the silver release?
That's because you need the hidden upgrade in his Dusty Desert stage.

question about project 06, can sonic jump on enemies without using the homing attack?
I believe so. Reading this brought to mind a memory of doing exactly that in the final stretch of Wave Ocean.
