That witch tricked him into leaving the Sherman ranch to take her to Mexico where she was REALLY meeting another man with money stolen from her husband. She kept after Jess until she managed to seduce him, not because she wanted him, just because she couldn't stand that he wouldn't because she was still married. And when he found out what she was really up to, she tried to kill him ! The episode is Run To Terra Vaca.

The last episode was in May, with no summer reruns. It was a devesating shock. At that point Laramie -and Jess - had been around almost half my life. Anyway - that in the future conclusion on Walker was the best he could do for Laramie and Jess.
