      @@SheaWhitney I read it at the beginning of last year and it was life changing for sure! I finally took some control over my health and well-being and it helped me start a routine of meditation in the morning, then I added taking my supplements and exercising, that helped me look at my diet and what I was putting into my body. Was able to recover from an accident quickly, avoiding a surgery, lost 65 lbs and I'm off all my medications! I cannot speak highly enough about Atomic Habits!!!

    Great video…as usual! ❤️ I just used your link and ordered Equilbra. I have so much pain from all the chemo I had….And it was a lot! 🤦🏻‍♀️ But, it saved my life, and thankfully I have a high threshold for pain. I had super high doses of chemo, then had a bone marrow transplant (that included the highest doses a person can get), then preventative chemo in the brain. After many hurdles and a few complications, I finally beat my stage 4, rare cancer. 🎉 After going through all that craziness, nothing can take away my high on life now….Not even this wretched coronavirus! I am even thankful that I am still here to feel this pain. There is always someone enduring so much worse! I thank God everyday and I “choose” to smile. But even still, the pain can be annoying! I have pain in my head, my knees, by back and pretty much everywhere. I am really hoping this will help! Thank you for the 50% off code! God bless you and your health issues as well. 🙏🏼❤️ Happy New Year to you and blessings for 2022 to and your beautiful family!

    I have major anxiety and I learned to breathe in for four seconds, hold it for two and exhale for six seconds ALL through your nose. It ensures you're doing it slowly. It helps reduce anxiety and also decreases blood pressure and your heart rate. I never thought of doing it outside. I'll start doing that.

    • @SheaWhitney
      @SheaWhitney  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yes, it really can help!!! But I'm so glad you enjoy the breathing techniques too...they are so more helpful than people realize!

    • @s.a.4358
      @s.a.4358 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Same! Well, a bit different, I was told 4 second each, but the concept is the same.
      Another technique I was told and use especially to help me not get anxious around bedtime is to enumerate all the things I can feel - and go into details like I feel the contact of the bedsheet on my feet, I feel my cheek against the pillow - then all the things I can hear, all the things I can smell, all the things I can taste. Smell and taste is less applicable at bedtime but it can work at other moments. This helps me a lot.

    • @trishpipkins
      @trishpipkins 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@s.a.4358 Yes!! There is a really good grounding technique for when my anxiety gets way out of control. It's called 5-4-3-2-1 you start off with 5 things you can see. 4 things you can touch/feel. 3 things you can hear. 2 things you can smell. 1 thing you can taste. Usually I get to the touch/feel one and my anxiety has already dropped. I can't stay anxious and focus on how many things I'm seeing or feeling. 😊

    • @mschrisfrank2420
      @mschrisfrank2420 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Breathing techniques are so helpful for my anxiety! My go to techniques are the 4-7-8 (inhale 4, hold 7, exhale 8) and alternate nostril breathing.

    During the pandemic, I refused to dress down . I am retired and do dress more casually than when I worked outside my home but never in sweats or joggers. Those are for cleaning or yard work days. Every day I do my makeup and style my hair which is chin length and mostly straight but I make sure it looks good. The only days I skip makeup are again my deep cleaning or yard work days and the days I have eye injections. I can’t wear makeup for 4 days after my injections.
    I love pretty tops, blouses and sweaters. I pair with leggings or jeans. I also wear light dresses in summer. I alway add jewelry, earrings, necklace and bracelets. I recently bought a lot of Victoria Emerson, Shea Whitney styles. Love, love them. I no longer have to wear heels every day, but I always wear a stylish shoe or boot. I love heeled boots. I wear cute patterned sneakers in summer (Blowfish brand is my fav) and cute sandals.

    Shea: Not all of us can use CBD oil because my HR manager said that if I were to use this oil and had an accident at work (tripped and broke my arm) and they tested me, there is a chance that my results will spike for pot, and they would terminate me, so some of us can NOT purchase and use CBD oil because it puts us at risk of losing a job. I don’t about you, but I need my job! So please tell your audience of the risks.

    I bought the water bottle and I love it! I had a 64 oz with the hours marked with inspirational sayings, but it was so big and bulky, it didn’t fit in the cupholder in my car, it was always in the way on my desk. This bottle is only 32 ounces, it has the hours 8 AM to 1 PM marked off, then says refill at the bottom. And in the right column it has hours 2 PM to 8 PM, so you can get in 64 ounces with a pretty, manageable bottle!

Thank you for telling me what to do, I needed it 100% because otherwise I wouldn’t have realized how much sugar I eat every day. Excellent advice about sugars/carbs. Due to a health scare, I greatly reduced my overall carb intake, including bananas, lol! The results have been truly miraculous. Definitely hard at first but worth it!!!

    • @Lucinda_Jackson
      @Lucinda_Jackson 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You’re right! A banana has about 15g of sugar, so ignoring the sugar in fruits is a big mistake if you’re trying to cut sugar…

    • @bellathereader1328
      @bellathereader1328 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@Lucinda_Jackson I think the issue is that Americans are so addicted to junk food in general, the thought is if only a person could give up the cookies and grab a banana instead. At least they are getting some nutrition and eating a real food. But you are right, fruits are carbs and it is best to stick to those that are low glycemic, such as blueberries

    • @susanfalcone8130

      Bananas have so many beneficial vitamins and minerals, that it's a shame that you have to exclude them from a healthy diet! They do have carbs but I believe that God made them 2 bless our bodies with Better Health. Best wishes!

    People on low income/disability don't make enough to save and also doesn't mean they're generally unhappy just because they don't have money

    There seems to be a real bad lay over with the way too casual look. There is a difference everyone between comfortable sloppy and casual comfortable. Have some pride in who you are it will make a difference on how you feel about yourself.

    I love this video it was very to the point and I felt like it was very lady like in hit my age group of ladies perfectly and we all want happiness and I’ve always said that’s one of my top goals also taking care of myself and putting together better outfits is something I am learning because the yoga pants and crocs have been part of my routine for a couple years now and I’m over it because no matter how big or small they will always fit you so that is one thing I definitely would love to learn is more outfits and style definitely for 2022 and I love how you said even if you’re at home when you do look better you feel better

    Love the reminder to turn the DANG PHONES OFF! It can wait. Our families need our faces and our attention, at least more often. My goodness, phones have taken over the home life and it’s not good.

    My husband got me the daily drops and some seasonal gummies for Christmas and I am excited to start my journey with CBD. I have been taking 1 gummy each night and I haven’t noticed anything yet but I am really hoping it can help with pain relief.

    I started using equilibria about a month ago to help me sleep. One soft gel twice a day, per my consultation. Not even sure it’s working yet. But just a warning-I tested positive for THC on a pre-employment drug screen!! It was so embarrassing but luckily they are testing me again after being off it for 5 days. Fingers crossed
