Props to u for doing all that for the benefit of your fro, but my 4c hair is not having all that manipulation every night. I find that just putting on my satin bonnet without twists, etc. works for my 4c fro just fine. All I have to do is finger fluff it and I'm good to go. I use my favorite leave in conditioner after shampooing which keeps my hair soft and hydrated. The hydration/moisture is definitely key for my hair. But if I had to comb through my hair every night there would be unnecessary breakage, I would be bald. All techniques don't work for everyone....

I feel the same way my hair stands up straight it's very hard. It never lies down . When I comb it ad put it in a bonnet and wake up the next day it's always fine.
