Wow after cutting it so many times I think it's truly at it ultimate healthiest, the curls are bomb bomb, the hair is voluminous, and it looks as if it got so long since the last cut or trim, Soo wow...The fro looks the biggest it's ever been and the back is getting long you can really tell it hanging back there

I have a question.
So basically I’m trying to m ow what my curl pattern is
when i try to define my curls i just feel like it doesn’t work. I’ve tried many products it always ends up the same way
first, not every single piece of my hair is like defined, I can see the curl tho, but some part of my hair is really defined but the rest is just messy but can’t get defined with the other hair idk of you get it.
& my curls are really like, maybe frizzy, it’s like a S but not small S’s maybe like, curly S’s but also small S’s at the same time, I think my hair is 4a/b but Idk if my hair is damaged
I just wanna know why all my curls doesn’t get defined like every other black girls hair. It just gets like messy or sum idk how to explain.
Jennida Justin I feel you need to focus on moisture. Proper moisture/protein balance = healthy defined naturalcurls. You need to find out your hairs porosity. If you don’t know your porosity you can’t properly moisturize your hair. Check out GreenBeauty here on TH-cam; she has great, easy to follow, educational and practical videos about hair porosity and all things hair health related. My hair started thriving ONLY was I learned my porosity and how to care for it.

stretched hair is safer and more accurate . make sure you get actual hair shears ..regular scissors just make it worse
