I was wondering where that scream came from. Lol Thank you! Look at you over there “unloc’n” a new you in 2025! Now the possibilities/options are endless! ♥️
Black hair hair, 4c specifically is so beautiful to me. It's super full, and has legitimately no form. Natural boy here for 3 years and you taught me something just now. Great video!
Thank you for showing from the natural state , many tutorials start from an already blown out or almost blown out state. Also how long does the stretch last during the day?
No problem!! The stretch typically lasts all day unless the weather is humid. My afro does shrink as the days go by since I spritz water or a leave in spray to keep it hydrated as needed. Other than that, I maintain the stretch by sliding my hair into a loose high puff at night. I hope this helps 💕💕
I use hair tongs and a Keratin hair kit to stretch my 4c bushy hair! I miss my old hair, I tried to dye my terrible Hot roots black, don't like grey hair! Now I use hair dyes & black hair wax, Schwarzkopf Live hair dye is the best moisturising hair dye for Afro hair! Dry hair ladies, get FUDGE Seal & Armor, from Time Machine Fudge hair range, its one of the best hair treatment range ever! SEAL & ARMOR 500ML REALLY repairs dry Afro hair, its a deep reconstructor and smoothes split ends and 500ml lasts ages. Locs & plaits girls, natty head and kids tangled hair add some Fudge Time Machine hair treatment before you add or take out plaits, saves you 2+ hours, knotty hair just loosens! Tried Olaplex 2 & 3, BB Blonde, Inkey, Redken and Kerastase and Aphogee, all good but Fudge Top Lock & Seal and Armor really do work! Thank me later! And IC hair oil, that is good! Hey there 👋🏾 My afro remains stretched for the most part. I lightly mist my afro with water to add moisture as needed so it does shrink slightly but not very much. Thanks for watching :)
Is there a way to get this stretch without using the blow dryer, I know you said low-med heat but I hate using any type of heat. So far I achieved majorrr stretching with tight sectioned braids..wondering if I should be doing anything else.
@@Quijuandas thank! Im Nigerian-American and I remember my mom threading hair when I was a kid 🤣 I think the heat outside shrinks my hair back down regardless. Looking forward to Fall, in cooler weather my hair stays huge all day.
Beautiful! Quick question - if it’s dry with no product other than heat protectant, do you feel you need anything else to keep it moisturized? Thank you!! ❤
Hello there. I band or pineapple it at night and fluff it out in the mornings so it stays stretched all week for the most part. I’m definitely about to keep it stretched until the next wash day…weather permitting of course. ♥️
I screamed at the results!! ❤
I just picked my locs out and now I’m in a frenzy on what to do with it 😂

Thank you 💕💕
Thanks for the video ❤. Definitely will give this a try.
You’re very welcome. I hope it works for you! 😊
Thank you for the video! How long do you keep the heat on the sections of hair?
My hair isn’t wet so it takes no longer than a minute or so to stretch the sections. Thank you for watching!!
And Fudge Hed lights hair oil, saved my hair! UK 🇬🇧
Did you detangle your hair after you washed it?
Not here. I wanted to show how I stretch my hair from a completely shrunken state.
Would you use some nourishing sheen spray on the end ?
I didn’t but you can if you’d like. 🙂
Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing
You’re very welcome. Thanks for watching 💕
Beautiful!!! Do you do something specifically to make the stretch last a few days?
Thank you!! I slide it into a puff at night to keep my roots stretched.
GOOD JOB DOING YOUR HAIR 🥰
Thank you 😊
Gorrrgeous💕💕💕

African threading and the banding method are also great methods but if the braids are working, I’d stick to it 💕

Beautiful hair!
Thank you ♥️
Beautiful 💜
Thank you!!
You helped me not embarrass myself outside the house😂
Lol I’m glad I could be of service 😂😂😂
Will the heat mess up your curl pattern if you blow dry it out the way you did?
Hello there 👋🏾 I used a heat protectant so everything bounced back with no issues :)
Gorgeous!
Thank you 💕💕
Beautiful! Quick question - if it’s dry with no product other than heat protectant, do you feel you need anything else to keep it moisturized? Thank you!! ❤
Thank you :) And yes. You definitely need at least a light leave in to keep it moisturized.
Very nice 😍
For how many days during the week does it last?
Hello there. I band or pineapple it at night and fluff it out in the mornings so it stays stretched all week for the most part. I’m definitely about to keep it stretched until the next wash day…weather permitting of course. ♥️
Does it shrink back the next day after waking up?
No it doesn’t shrink but I do have to re-shape it next day due to sleeping on it.
Is this humidity proof?
It could be if you use an anti-humidity spray or serum of some sort but if not, it will definitely shrink if there’s moisture in the air.
Beautiful afro
Thank you
Nice 🙂
Thank you!
Gorgeous ❤️❤️
Why thank you dear
Wow! Beautiful air and your arms are amazing!
Donyou work out?
Thank you! I definitely don’t work out as much as I should but I appreciate the compliment ❤️
Kisses to ya. God bless for this video.
Thanks for watching! I hope it was helpful 💕
Queennnnnnn
Heeey queennnn 💕💕💕
❤❤❤❤
Love!!!
Thanks boo ♥️
My hair will stretch, then minutes later, it shrinks back, 🤷🏾♀️
It happens to the best of us 🥴
😅 same
❤
It is good for an afro look, but i didn't see any detangling. I have to be able to at least afro pick my hair before any style.✌🏾
I don’t detangling while my hair is in its dry, afro state to avoid breakage. 🙂
@@Quijuandas Oh, I know. I spritz my hair with water and oil conditioner and cover it with a plastic cap before I detangle. Thanks for responding.
Do you think you're hair once a week?
I’m not sure what you’re asking but I stretch it once in between wash days :)
@@Quijuandas sorry! Yes, I meant do you stretch you're hair once a week. Also do you moisturize you're hair before or after stretching it?
You look nice.
Thank you!
Omg guys don’t blow dry your hair without heat protection it can cause hair lose
Thanks for watching 💕💕💕
