    Also, let’s keep in mind that 2pac was 23 years old when he released ‘Dear Mama’, and only 25 years old when he died.. When you really think about it, it really put things into perspective on just how incredible he was at a young age … from his music, to his movies, to his infamous interviews..

    My brother died at 17 from suicide, I was 4 months at the time, my mom lost a son and gained one all in one year, I grew up with this song cuz my mom always plays it whenever she wants to remember my brother because he would play this song and rap it whenever my mom would cry after being beat by his dad or going thru some other rough situation. It rlly does hit home even after all these years, my mom went thru a lot, including dabbling in drug use, I also lost my dad at 13 yrs old, so I spent my teenage years without any male figure in my life to teach me how to be a man and what being a man should look like, to this day I’m lost searching for the answer to them questions, so when pac says “I understand for a woman it ain’t easy tryna raise a man”…. Yeah.

    2pac mother was in the Black Panther Party. 2pac went to school at Baltimore School for the Arts in the late 1980s. While he there studied Poetry, Acting, Jazz, and Ballet.

    His mother wasnt in prison for committing street crimes, his mother and father were black panthers and went to prison when they were locking up the panthers. You should react to Tupacs Ed gordon interview. Great interview, will also give u a different persective of who he was.

    Tupac wasn't a gangster and and he didn't describe his music as Gangsta rap

      He was a socially conscious rapper that found himself in a weird situation with the industries want to put him in a situation to where he played a gangster and he fell for it and that's what got him killed

      It was ultimately the movies, he got casted in were they had him playin these gang members if anyone old enough to remember that was a lot of criticism that went towards him was you're starting to become these characters you play in the movies

    • @profanepersonality
      @profanepersonality 6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @Tyler-g5l , yeah it wasn't growing up poor around gangsters and slanging crack while having a crackhead mom for a bit that made him appear to be a gangster, it was his roles in movies. 😂😂😂

    He wasn't a gangster. lol
    He was a poet, actor, and activist. His family were members of the Black Panther Party. Thug Life - 2pac's take on the Black Panthers - was a social statement and movement, it's acronym meaning "The hate you give little infants f**ks everyone". He was a voice for the poor and downtrodden, spoke on social injustice, and was actually trying to bring gangs together and in hopes of reforming them into something positive for communities. But, as is usually the case the media tended to misrepresent and misconstrue him and his message.
    Good documentaries on him are Tupac: Resurrection, Thug Angel, and Dear Mama. He also has plenty of good interviews where he very clearly explains his intentions - I have a chronological playlist on my channel of some of them (Specific Recommendations: "TUPAC SHAKUR 1988 HIGH SCHOOL INTERVIEW," "Rare Tupac Interview | Proves He Was A Target From Day One!," and "1992 2PAC BAN MTV Interview HD + Unreleased Outtakes").

    Tupac was interesting he never was a gangster, it was the industry that pushed him in that direction he was actually very socially conscious and talked about a lot of things that were destroying his community but his surroundings in the movies you were in they wanted him to play a gangster and he started to believe it and that's what got him killed

    If possible, it would be great to watch Tupac interviews chronologically from his 1st at age 17. His interviews will draw more interest in to his persona, and you will actually make his music secondary, yet it will provide more insight to the music. It doesn't have to be every single interview he's done of course. Just a special few. 1. Tupac Highshool Interview. (1988) 2. Tupac Ed Gordon Interview (1994) 3. Tupac Tabitha Soren interview on Venice Beach (2005). 4. VIBE Presents: Tupac's "Lost" Vibe Interview (1996)....Only if it is possible. I'm a new sub. Love the channel
