    I think any type of “ diet” or lifestyle change is trial and error and we have to be ok with that. Just like you said be patient …and figure out what you like . I’ve experimented with the idea of going vegan then realized I like real cheese I like eggs and occasional chicken so incorporating plant based meals into my menus is easier .
    Beginners could pick a meal that they make completely plant based the entire week , maybe breakfast or dinner or just every other day … I’ve done dinner and breakfast

    Protien comes from plants :) animals eat the plants and store protein in their muscles . So protien comes from plants and we need plants for longevity . Great tips ty

    You have truly inspired to eat healthier. Your 15 tips is what i needed to know because my desire for 2022 is to go vegan. I thought it was plant based that I wanted to do until you explained the difference. I will definitely discuss with my primary doctor my change of eating.     Quinoa has 8 grams of protein in 1 cup. Thechicnatural has a cook book and her video are fun to watch.

    I’m not vegan but my friend is and I always love when we eat at vegan restaurants whenever we hang. I would love to know your fav brands when it comes to things like salad dressing, cheese, ice cream etc. I would like to start cutting out dairy but I get scared trying out vegan alternatives bc I’ve had a lot experience where it ends up tasting bad and I hate wasting my money and throwing food out 😩

    Happy New Year to you and your family. How do you eat SO well when your husband is not vegan? I am vegan, but my husband is not. The double cooking is becoming hard. However he does eat what I cook (vegan meals) BUT, he like his meat. LOL. My meals are not nearly as great as yours. Not to mention the huge grocery bill. LOL Any suggestions?

      Oooo this is good! I'm going to have to talk about this in one of my future videos. Our husband's are very similar in the way they eat! Sometimes he'll just add his preferred meat option to whatever I cook for us!

      @@Shakaylafelice It would be awesome if you would talk about this. Yes that’s what my husband does, he adds his food with what I eat. But he will not eat just my food. 😂. I never try’s to pressure him into eating strictly vegan. I’m not that kind or vegan. But between you and me it would be SOOO much easier. Lol. (Our secret).     I'm after recipes for my teen sons who both have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease.
    I'm totally clueless as why they can eat. One is vegan since he was 13 yrs old and the other eats meat rarely but still has meat two three times a month.
    So I'm scrambling to find vegan meals that will be nutritional and easy to eat for boys that are teens with thyroid issues
    The meat eater one takes a very expensive tablet each day for the next 12 months and I'm trying to find healing through food for him. He is 17 and too young to be feeling like this.
    Apparently their father ( before he passed ) had the same issue but didn't think it would be great to let others know
    Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. Especially meal advice.

      I'm not sure if you've seen a dietician but I think that would be super helpful in finding good food ideas for your kids specific to their dietary needs

    Great tips! I remember one day I wanted some lasagna so bad, and I just thought, "well all I have to do is swap it out for vegan ingredients" and man that was life changing! I eat all the same stuff I used to, just vegan. I'm not a very healthy person nor do I care to change that, so I looooove the processed foods! haha! That 'Just Egg' dang near made me cry with happiness, you hear me!

    Not sure if I agree with the plant based definition. I think both don't consumme animal products but veganism is a lifestyle so it does touch clothing, makeup animal cruelty advocacy in general...

      Hiiii - I hear you! Some plant-based eaters occasionally consume some animal products and by definition (based on what I’ve researched during my journey) a plant-based diet can consist of limited animal products because it is not necessarily vegan but focused on mostly plants. There are some who follow a plant-based diet and do not consume animal products.
      I agree with you on the veganism lifestyle piece!

      Plant-based or plant-forward eating patterns focus on foods primarily from plants. This includes not only fruits and vegetables, but also nuts, seeds, oils, whole grains, legumes, and beans. It doesn't mean that you are vegetarian or vegan and never eat meat or dairy.

      “With a plant-based diet, you can decide whether or not you want to consume animal products, and the focus is on eating mostly foods that come from plant sources,” says Dr. Kirlew.
      Plant-based diets also emphasize eating whole foods, meaning the food has undergone little - if any - processing and is as close to its natural state as possible

    Thanks for clarifying. I'm mostly plant based but sometimes I want a dang piece of fish. There are people that will say something and I have to tell them, I'm not vegan. Why does it bother you.
