Coincidentally Marblehead was one of H.P. Lovecraft's favorite places. It was the setting for his story The Festival.

@@GhostQuestUSA_TV And where was that sequence starting at 2:15 filmed, because it certainly isn't at the fort. I don't recognize it as anywhere in town. The disembodied voice are probably from boats in the adjoining harbor, as sound carries over water.
There were two big fires in downtown Marblehead in the late 19th century so maybe Wilmot finally got her curse to work! I would like to think she's there, it's a nice spot with a pond bearing her last name, Redd, and it was her neighborhood.

Unfortunately you are misinformed about the Old Burial Hill story. While Mammy Redd was found guilty and hung with 7 others that day. They were hung on Gallows Hill in Salem. Remains are not in Marblehead.
