I will be celebrating my 30 yr marriage with my wife at that hotel Oct. 23, 2023, staying over night. I heard it was haunted decades ago! Maybe we'll be fortunate enough to experience something. I really doubt anything will happen, I'm probably not that lucky or unlucky I suppose. Wish us well.

My mother and I were in Nantucket and we decided to take a tour of one of the historic houses we got there early and we’re sitting on a bench outside the house. We could see the house doorway the back doorway as a side view we weren’t exactly facing the house but we weren’t back to it either. And my mother and I saw some thing in the doorway and my mother said you see that in the doorway and it was kind of like this misty lighted thing and I said yes. So we got in and there was this elderly very New England tour person there. She was upset because somebody that was working there didn’t show up so we were waiting it was only the two of us and on the other side of the room there was a desk with a lamp on it. And the lamp levitated off the desk went over about 2 feet mid air and then fell to the floor. The lady said that never happened before. And my mother and I looked at each other. So we went through the house and there were a lot of cold spots and I felt something was following us around the house I had a feeling it was a lady. Later when we got home and my mother was talking to the travel agent and told her of our experience she said oh my husband knows that house is haunted and he keeps going back hoping something will happen. Then my mother had an encounter we were on the street looking for a restaurant and my mother was knocked over by something. Now I should say this my mother was very psychic very intuitive Haddaway about her. So she said it was a quaker man who is very angry that she was in his way. When we got back to the hotel things were definitely odd that night my bed was shaking like someone was trying to wake me up and I knew it was this guy who my mother ran into her who ran into her. I told him to get lost because I wanted to sleep my mother woke the following morning and told me she had a dream that this guys name was some thing love his last name was love and the irony was that he said I just wanted you out you know and I am so things were very odd in the room our sink for some reason the water wouldn’t shut off come completely it was like the slow stream of water coming out of the bathroom sink and the atmosphere seem very cloudy. What is it we wondered what was happening. So what’s interesting the following year we went back to the same hotel and we had the same room the atmosphere was completely different very light and airy no problem with the sink no cloudiness no nothing but that was my experience on Nantucket.

Wow, that is very spooky! Thank you for sharing your story!! Nantucket is an old town with lots of strange history and folklore, and lots of those old houses could certainly still have spirits and energy lingering there. What was the name of the hotel you guys stayed at? 👻
