Man you're not even light load yet your rolling were so on point. I actually managed to beat him solo tonight with a strength/dex build and I almost entirely relied on parries for the 2nd phase which is a shitshow really. Hardest boss in the entire franchise cause it's so goddamn flashy omg
If you remember from the crosses he’s already abandoned 2 of them. So maybe miquella originally had 5 arms? Two of the crosses say “I abandon my arm dextral.” “I abandoned my arm sin” some shit I forget the second one but it’s another arm cross meaning he’s rid himself of 2 other arms already right? I couldn’t tell if it meant physically losing an arm or metaphorically, but when he sheds his great rune it’s mentioned it’s a physical thing he leaves behind so maybe he did have 5 arms who knows

Timing is super tight though(at the end of his first swing or I think crouching works but I didn't experiment that), so it's better to just tank the second hit and roll towards the cross-chop since it will never kill you unless you're super low.

I’m curious how old Eso is. I’ve seen him do some beyond high level shit for years in Destiny, a FPS. But he also does high level shit in a lot of other games, including Elden Ring, a 3rd person action rpg. Game types that play way differently. I’ll be 41 in a week and my hand eye coordination and reaction time has fallen off exponentially since my teens and 20s. Wonder how he keeps so sharp? Can’t just be hours played because I have a ton. Am I just a slow bitch with big dumb mechanic’s hands and there’s gods inside Esoterickk’s hands? Yeah, that’s probably it.

i took a hint from the story, and figured the weapon wielded by radahns rival (gaius) would work well against him and boy was i right lol
I beat him with Milady (Quality) which is probably the best weapon in the entire dlc and a ton of fun to use
I have nightmares of me entering a boss room and seeing the name Esoteric on a boss health bar too big to fit on screen.
It doesn’t matter how big the health bar is, you wouldn’t be able to hit him anyway
Just watching this is stressful. Dodge timings are so counterintuitive on this. GG dude
