Probably to prevent exploiting 2nd phases n stuff, for example when I fought consort Radahn I would get him close to a poise break , so when he started his second phase I could simply stagger him and use the i-frames to dodge the attack. If the player knew how close a boss was to staggering, there would be no risk involved in regards to heavy attacks or ash of war, bosses like Malenia would be extremely easy
@@XXXTENTAClON227I do that and a bar wouldn't have changed that but only infirmed me better, so I'm not too sure what we're trying to hide here. It's not like after some fighting you don't already know how much it takes to stance break a boss. The biggest and most useful thing here is looking at when he has regenerated it, which is actual valuable info most games would provide if the mechanic was that important, so you don't go on wasting your time thinking maybe he has regenerated it only halfway or something like that. Also it may be that they are hiding it because they are cheap with it, as usual, by which I mean that it seems like if you stance break some enemies but they are in the middle of some anime style animation, your stance break is invalidated, the bar is recharged and the boss performs their move, Miyazaki style. I get why it is like that, so that bosses can actually do their moves that FromSoftware put time to make, but there's absolutely no reason why the stance bar isn't paused or kept at low value for the duration of the animation.
so genuine question, you think it would be possible to do this on medium roll? ik youre strafing clockwise out of recovery to avoid the double slash w lightroll putting you fully out of the way of the second hit, but ive found with med roll you can kinda consistently dodge straight into the attack (requiring no strafing) and the second slash will phase through you, probably because of elevation. idk whether its on flat ground or only with radahn above you, but might be worth thinking abt if you want to somehow top this lol edit: maybe crouching before the first roll or using a low rolling attack could work?
I tried crouching and it didn't work Med roll is 100% doable You can also roll the entire at but you will have to be precise since you have to roll the first slash just a few frames before it hits you and the i frames will protect you from the second slash Or make sure you're on a lower ground as you mentioned and the second slash will miss you I was thinking about rolling, fists or (heavy roll in case they found a way to dodge a certain attack) to top this but it will take a while ngl
@@praisethegod5564this was the only bs attack, and the clone ones(sometimes the hitbox is broken). Really wish they make all the lights in the second phase less bright
Man, I wish the actual game had that Poise bar for the bosses and enemies. It would be really useful to actually know how much close or far you are from breaking the enemy's poise
Hyper mega ultra epic brother!!. The hardest boss, in the hardest game, in the hardest way. I also do challenges of this type but in GOW 18 and GOW R + DLC. Playing level 1, with burdens and disadvantages, against the most difficult bosses, no damage and trying to be as aggressive as possible. Many fights that you dance for more than 10. I remember a specific fight with Sigrun (Queen Valkyrie GOW 18), which lasted just over 15 minutes. I tell you this, because even though they are not exactly the same, there are things in common. The passion for a game, the extreme skill and analysis of it, the endless hours and attempts. Well, we analyze all their attacks and combos, we see the gaps, we study how much time you have to attack, what are the most damaging options in those gaps and we do all of this with absolute attention and intensity. We create an orchestration and a corresponding dance, which we must execute perfectly, for a frenetic and long time. The timing and reflexes are perfect on our part. But we both know one thing. That every indeterminate number of times, the game processes something slightly different and where the timing that worked like clockwork dozens of times, on one occasion it didn't. Due to a whimsical micro change, in how the game has processed it that time. You dodge as usual and randomly the game decides that "you didn't dodge well." It is precisely that, what it often does, that we have to repeat it at infernal levels, dozens and even hundreds of times. And when it's a fight of almost 25 minutes, I can't even imagine the madness. Is that true??😉. I wanted you to feel understood and valued by someone who understands what you have done perfectly. You just did the challenge of a true GOAT. The most difficult boss, in the most difficult game and in the most difficult way👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🏆🏅🔥🔥🔥🔥. A hug from Spain

Brave Tarnished, Thy Strength Indeed Befits A Crown 👑. that was absolutely amazing considering how long that fight was. Well Played 😎
Thy strength befits a crown.
Absolutely insane, respect!
Thank you sir
25 minutes of hell. GG man
Thank you
This is accurate footage of me trying to kill a mosquito at 3 am
didn’t even bleed cheese. GGs dude.
man huuuuuge respect for doing the fight with these restrains i commend ur dedication and perseverance i
awesome run dude, congrats really, i don't want to be mean or leave 'bad comments', but i think this isn't a world's first, gino machino has already done this, he posted the video on his twitter
done just fixed it sorry for clamming such a thing
ive seen a lot from the fromsoft player base and yet this marks one of the most impressive things ive ever seen right up there with the god run
Thank you sir
Alright, now with your bare hand with no talismans blindfolded
You are ACTUALLY insane mate. Holy sh*t.
Good job. I guess the rest of us have no excuse now lmao.
No you can complain about how bad he's it's okay just try your best and you'll get him one day
Absolute perfection broski.
Your skill is astronomical.
My toxic trait is thinking i can log on and do the same thing. 😂😂😂
Amazing! 🎉
You can do the same thing and make it even better than mine as long as you're having fun
The type of guy who will escape prison digging whole underground train system with a fork...
Just the way Miyazaki intended. GG
Crazy crazy stuff. Last time did something like this was Dragonslayer Armor. I got old.
At 16:24 how did you know to run away from the holy explosion? or was it just lucky? Either way very impressive good sir!
I was trying to make some space since we were too close to the walls so yeah i was lucky there
@@praisethegod5564 Ah i see, from my lvl1 experience he does usually use that move after making distance with you, given he hasn't done it in a while. I was also wondering how long this took to achieve lol
608 tries and i guess 50+ gameplay hours
@@praisethegod5564 Now that's some dedication, mad respect brother, playing Elden Ring as Miyazaki intended is not for the faint of heart
Thank you this is the exact video I need to finally beat him, I’m 490 deaths in fighting with a similar style but upgraded
Keep going fellow tarnished
Best of luck
You used a stagger bar and amulets, the only thing you were missing was also summoning and using a shield.
Technically i was using a shield
@@praisethegod5564 right
Unbelievable. Legendary display of skill right here, deserves all the views in the world. You are a god at this game, simple as that.
Also off-topic, but the way you sound in your replies give actual gigachad vibes lowkey 😂
Good shit my dude
Thank you for your kind words sir
I'm trying my best and people like it
Kindness=Kindness as simple as that
Also my apologies if my english isn't that good
@@praisethegod5564 Of course! Your English is good though. My native tongue is Español, and yours?

Posture bar would be really cool as a base game thing
When you’re the GOAT and nobody tells you:
Seriously, what a fantastic run. Good job 🤘🏻.
"You see, if this guy can do it, so can you" ahh people when I tell them the final boss is flawed
But he's flawed
Let's hope he gets better hitboxes next update
I was crying trying to kill him with bloodfiends arm and you did this aftee like one month😭
Marvelous work honestly
I hope to one day reach this level
Try your best
Eventually you'll do it
That poise bar mod is really awesome. Not sure why they didn’t add it as an actual thing.
Lets hope they add it in future games
It’s a thing in sekiro and lies of P so idk why it’s not present in Elden ring.
@@TheSkruds Not really in Lies of P, you just get an indicator that the boss can be staggered
I'm actually impressed, well done !
Thank you
so genuine question, you think it would be possible to do this on medium roll?
ik youre strafing clockwise out of recovery to avoid the double slash w lightroll putting you fully out of the way of the second hit, but ive found with med roll you can kinda consistently dodge straight into the attack (requiring no strafing) and the second slash will phase through you, probably because of elevation. idk whether its on flat ground or only with radahn above you, but might be worth thinking abt if you want to somehow top this lol
edit: maybe crouching before the first roll or using a low rolling attack could work?
I tried crouching and it didn't work
Med roll is 100% doable
You can also roll the entire at but you will have to be precise since you have to roll the first slash just a few frames before it hits you and the i frames will protect you from the second slash
Or make sure you're on a lower ground as you mentioned and the second slash will miss you
I was thinking about rolling, fists or (heavy roll in case they found a way to dodge a certain attack) to top this but it will take a while ngl
@@praisethegod5564this was the only bs attack, and the clone ones(sometimes the hitbox is broken). Really wish they make all the lights in the second phase less bright
Unreal stuff. Crazy patience and skill.
Thank you
Now do that in ng+7
It was therapeutic watching Radhan so helpless. GG man.
Please explain how the shockwave did not hit you at 0:31? You're clearly standing directly in it and I know it's not just a visual affect
The hitboxes are not fully accurate to the visual effect
This move hitbox IS weird
I’ve seen enough, give him the soldier of god, Rick
Average souls enjoyer
The ashen one got tired of seeing all the Tarnished die to this dude so he showed up and showed em what good ol sword and roll can do
>poise break cheese
>riposte cheese
>talisman cheese (two-handed, bluedancer, soreseal)
You didn't beat the game
Poise break cheese 💀
Okey that was insane, my respect
Who hurt you?
Honestly the greatest gamer I've ever seen. Good shit man.
Thank you
Man, I wish the actual game had that Poise bar for the bosses and enemies. It would be really useful to actually know how much close or far you are from breaking the enemy's poise
Knowing that will make you greedy imo
Bro played elden ring the frowntown way
But holy shit your a beast man good work!
THE DEDICATION!!!
+++RESPECT
Thank you sir
Thank you sir for your words

GG I did a 9 minute kill w/ +25 Cleanrot recently and that was hard enough. Couldnt imagine doing it for 25 minutes.

I believe the flash of lasers and horrible frames you get in the 2nd phase make this especially painful.
True
I am truly speachless
We found the actual elden lord
the hardest part of this (i assume) would be after he does the zoom away move. because he can follow that up with anything after he makes distance, the halo attacks, the suck, the golden sword spinny thing. the rest of the fight seems a little methodical once you work out the dodging to the left thing.
Remind me this overskilled mosquito last night.
I feel your pain Radahn
i just can't believe this is real, bro is the elden lord of the elden lords
