A great adventure idea, the kingdom is haunted by some ghost or wraith as the king seems cursed and descends into madness. In his madness he demands the players confront this wraith. The kicker is that the wraith terrorizing the countryside IS THE KING.

This is a great Landmark! I've noticed a couple things that are a bit inaccurate though.
The first is how you mentioned the adventure as a potential origin for one of the Ringwraiths. The Ringwraiths seem to have reached their final form back in the Second Age, well before Arnor even comes into existence, let alone Rhudaur. I'm very glad you didn't mention this stuff outright, as the implications can still be read as having to do with Angmar's encroaching influence. Angmar did eventually absorb Rhudaur after all, and not everyone would have agreed with it.
The other is the three Barrow-Wights. Wights are all fell spirits that puppet the body, and are not the souls of dead men coming back due to disturbed slumber. The last adventure in Tales from the Lone-lands will go into more detail about this, but the scenario you're describing is more fitting of Fell Wraiths, or Spectres from the 1st Edition.

Hey, loving your content. I'd definitely recommend you check the "Heart; The City Beneath" and "The Wildsea" at some point. They are very special and inspirational pieces, comprising unique and evocative mechanics related to their themes and being intuitive enough to grasp and apply easily. My very first reason to find your channel was non-mainstream games, so it'd be nice to see that it continues, though the reason for subscribing was your presentation, editing, and style overall. Keep up the good work!

I have never heard of those games but I will certainly check them out!

@@willattheworldsend Yeah they are not that well known especially The Wildsea. Heart is actually a kind of a sequel to the game called "Spire" but the theme is leveled up. Most interesting thing about them is the setting and the world, but on top of that they have mechanics that are somewhat built for more narrative-heavy games yet all the details and core aspects still support combat, challenges and all quite well.
Even if you won't play or review on the channel, reading them definitely going to make you amazed and show you some original concepts concerning RPG design.

You have a really good voice for stories. Ever think of trying to run a game and posting it here?
