  • Unboxing Cool Parts for RC4WD DXR2 Dozer-
Missing package finally showed up with goodies in it.
    Servonaut SMR Sound Module
    Servonaut M211 Speed Control
    Servonaut CARD
Thanks to Yellowironcowboy rc scale Construction for showing these items.
The SMR and M211 are both a little hard to get right now but Fechtner Modellbau has them in stock. They are a reliable source.

You may want to reconsider using that speaker. It's a 4ohm and Servonaut recommends at least 8ohm so the SMR does not overheat...

Thanks for letting me know. . I only have the volume at about 1/3 so hopefully it will be ok. Thanks for watching

@@rcscalebuilders8268 How is the sound at 1/3 volume? Is it still loud enough?

@@crazyglue76 oh totally. Very loud even at 1/3!! Probably because of the 4 ohm speaker. Here it is in action th-cam.com/video/SmlVXsLUyqA/w-d-xo.html

@@rcscalebuilders8268 They say if you add a 4ohm resistor in series it will make it seem like 8ohm for the module. But, it will kill 50% of the volume... that's why I was asking. if that's the case, it would still be plenty loud even at full volume and retain the original speaker.

@@crazyglue76 I actually have some 2" 8ohm speakers I got for this a while ago. When I saw that internal speaker I got excited and forgot about the specs on the SMR. So next time I have her open I'll probably swap out the speaker. Until then ill just stay below half volume. Truly even at 1/3 it's loud. Thanks a bunch for reminding me.

Sweet upgrades, I have always ran right stick for all drive/turn motion and left stick for all optional functions of the particular model. Hobby concept showed how to mix that channel for driving. I’m now using same transmitter from 870k for my in between waiting skid steer build. Didn’t cost anything to build 😁 had parts around. Just worked out the larger bucket w/ grappler this evening. I ordered up the dozer so when I get it in I’ll go into settings and do some swapping for sure. Also I think I’ll wire in own lights on channels. 👍🏼3

@@rcscalebuilders8268 😁 you read it 🤪🤣 yep the dxr2 was the whole reason I started building bruders. Only because I wanted the real deal but as life goes I started building my own dreams w/ bruders. Well I still have fun with building nothing beats hydraulics scaled beauty. So Now 870k can do the loading and material moving and when my trucks do the dumping the dozer can do the spreading. I got to get my long overdue outdoor scaled site. My kids and wife want to help. After I get t up and going I’ll dig when I order up the 360L. I wanted to snag the dozer on Black Friday when it was 1800 even on Father’s Day. So we will see what this Father’s Day brings maybe I’ll snag the 360L since I’ll have the dozer already 😁 win/win stay tuned I’m excited

Awesome!! Congratulations. This thing moves so much dirt its insane. It can level a 3 wheelbarrow pile in like 15 min. Its crazy. I need to totally reinvent my sandbox because of it.
