Love that knife! Love the green! I like how the blade goes to the handle and doesn't have wasted space too like so many do. Beautiful sheath as well!. Great choice Ben!
LT Wright makes some beastual knives. I have one, and I will will use it probably till im old and gray. I was wondering if their are any reviews about some Battlehorse Knives? I've heard good things in the grapevine and wondered about their product and the quality...
I have some kitchen knives that similar to this one for more then 20 years(old victorinox kitchen knives) and I don't know why to prefer this one Can you explain(in a video of course) why to your opinion survival knives are better then kitchen knives?
+אורי אסלן kitchen knives have a different grind angle better for slicing and typically the steel is very thin and prone to rust. Those are just a few examples.
+highonimmi I do have both grinds. I prefer the scandi for wood working and the saber for general use. Just depends what you intend to use it for. They're both great blades.
Dude, I don't know whats better...............the GNS or those cheese rolls. I really like the GNS and have a couple of old BHK GNS' in saber. Fine, fine blades!
+Carlos Sepulveda The blade shape, handle shape, and blade steel. The Genesis has more of a Kephart style to it, with a spearpoint blade and broomstick handle with thumb scallops. It's made from A2 steel. The GNS, as Ben described in this video, has more of a drop point blade shape and Coke bottle handle design with no thumb scallops. It's made from O1 steel.
Great looking knife. I been looking at the gns. Hope to get one in the new year. Our Canadian dollar is really low so product out of the USA is expensive right now. Their is a little knife maker here in Nova Scotia Triple X knives that some nice bushcraft knives you should check them out. Thanks for you great vids
I love LT Wright knives! I just can't afford any right now, lol. I was thinking it was a Thrunight Ti series until I remember you already did those. I don't know anything that would be that small other than another micro flashlight. Take care Ben!
+TheSmokinApe There are many options on the market such as a Mora or Condor Bushlore that will work for getting started but when you want to take it to the next level this is a great option! Thanks for watching.
A LTWK package in the mail and bacon çheese rolls ! man, I have visions of sugarplum fàiries in my head !!! next up is a boker outdoor multiknife.......PAPÀ DUKES
Carlisle195 doesn't use ketchup... He uses tomahhhto sauce... And yeah, every week when he uploads, I end up with a grumbling belly before the vid is done.
155 pops?! Dude! Forgive me if I stick to SCHRADE and Mora... Super sweet little knife, and I don't doubt LT Wright's quality for even a second, but utterly unaffordable for me.
LT Wright has ruined the current GNS blade , it has more of a belly up front the saber grind is higher up than the knife you show and the blade looks less wide at the end. The new blade is not as pointed or dagger like which I prefer. The earlier blades more pointed tip was better for drilling and piercing. I do not know why LT Wright changed the Saber height and blade shape but I do not care for the newest versions of the GNS. If I was to buy another LT Wright I would go with the Genesis with a better point tip in flat grind or any grind .Your version of the GNS is the good one the earlier version 2015 not the 2019-2020 version. If no one believes me look at this knife and a newer GNS look at the pout house stamping and end width to handle to a newer one .
Absolutely love my GNS, it's my favorite knife.
Love that knife! Love the green! I like how the blade goes to the handle and doesn't have wasted space too like so many do. Beautiful sheath as well!. Great choice Ben!

+William Claypoole They have some good stuff too. Actually were the same company before they split.
+Living Survival. Wow... I didn't realize that. I need to get out of the city life and back into the show circuit. Thanks for the insight.

+SUFFICIENT SURVIVAL thanks bud.
I really want that LT Wright GNS so bad!!!
+Brandon Tran DO IT!
Great review! Would this also make a good hunting knife? 10 thumbs up!!!!
+Matthew Jeffres i prefer a smaller knife for skinning but this would be a great all in one knife option.
Great looking knife, Ben. ATB Laura
+Lellobeetle thanks Laura
I have 3 of the GNSs. Must be my favorite LTWK. Guess at the box is a Swiss Army Knife.
+Robert Enders Jr do u have both grinds (scandi & saber)? if so which one do u prefer?
+highonimmi I do have both grinds. I prefer the scandi for wood working and the saber for general use. Just depends what you intend to use it for. They're both great blades.

Greta review my friend. I love mine.
What's the main difference between the GNS and The Genesis? Which one do you recommend Ben? I'm undecided 😔
+Carlos Sepulveda A2 vs O1 and different handle.
+Carlos Sepulveda The blade shape, handle shape, and blade steel.
The Genesis has more of a Kephart style to it, with a spearpoint blade and broomstick handle with thumb scallops. It's made from A2 steel.

+Rangersly very awesome indeed.

I use a LT Wright NextGen.
+Denis (FuwaForestFilms) nice
when I see knives with this utility and quality I struggle to understand why folks buy some of the less reliable options on the market...
+TheSmokinApe There are many options on the market such as a Mora or Condor Bushlore that will work for getting started but when you want to take it to the next level this is a great option! Thanks for watching.
+Living Survival yeah, nothing wrong with mora or condor...
Great. Now I need BACON!
+Jason Browder BACON!!!
A LTWK package in the mail and bacon çheese rolls ! man, I have visions of sugarplum fàiries in my head !!! next up is a boker outdoor multiknife.......PAPÀ DUKES
+john rossi haha, exactly.
Getting an LTWK is borderline addiction.... Once you get your first taste, you are soon looking for the next. :-)
+Jarrid O'Bryan agreed.
+Living Survival Did you go with the GNS over the Gary Wines because of the handle primarily or the grind?
Jarrid O'Bryan handle.
Carlisle195 doesn't use ketchup... He uses tomahhhto sauce... And yeah, every week when he uploads, I end up with a grumbling belly before the vid is done.
+AZ Patriot i thought of that when i said ketchup LOL. I know man especially the sweets.
Living Survival Ya had to say it... Now I want a jam rollie pollie with custard..
8:40 Mahlzeit! :)
155 pops?! Dude! Forgive me if I stick to SCHRADE and Mora...
Super sweet little knife, and I don't doubt LT Wright's quality for even a second, but utterly unaffordable for me.
