I have to "ditto" others comments....the vast majority of us simply find an unused area and make it work for us. ABSOLUTELY LOVE my hobby room and tho' I enjoy looking at other's craft rooms that are beautifully designed, they don't look cozy and comfortable which is what I love about mine. Thank you for gifting us with a tour of your craft room, just love it!!!!
Your room definitely looks like mine. I dread dropping anything on the floor as I'd have to move everything to find it! But I do like my escape room, just would love to have more time to spend in it 😊
Your room is a lot like mine, cluttered but able to find most things when needed. My desk is an old dining room table which is fabulous. Newest thing in my room is my super duper computer chair that I bought as I have lower back and sciatic pain. Love my room.
Our craft rooms are twins! I try to organize but without a major bank loan to make it all streamlined like you said i would say is a pleasant work place as yours. I did go thru it 8 mths ago and purged out 6 full big boxes that a distant niece appreciated! All in all my room has everything very accessible which I love! I think these types of spaces represent 99% of most crafters. Thanks for sharing your beloved space! Watching you work now makes the videos much more personal and fun! Enjoy your lovely cruise!
Wow Ms. Chrissie your craft room is what I’d say… “Heavenly Craft room!!!” No wonder Cleo ♥️’s hanging out with you whenever she’s visiting. Thanks for sharing!!!
Oh, thank god that someone else has a craft room filled with all sorts of cabinets and draws that are much loved in their second life in craft your craft room, and not perfect white Ikea filled craft rooms!!!! Have watched so many flippin videos, and I have finally found yours, and on my birthday lol 🙂❤x
Christine, I love that you just use what you have!! I do the same thing!! Some people have all the new desk and cabinets. That is good for them. But I do not have the budget for that. It is nice to see others do not have everything new!! I like the way you have yours!!
I love your craft room, Christine! I’ve taken over half my living room, so it’s not the same set-up as yours, but it’s all mine & I love it! You said yours wasn’t sleek & streamlined, (neither is mine!) but it’s used every day & it’s comfortable! I love the look of using old pieces of furniture & various carts, boxes, shelves & tubs, it’s grown as you have & it begs to be dug into & have a look! My melting pot still hasn’t been un-earthed, so I had to laugh at that! I noticed the gold shelf on the wall, I have things like that from my Mom & I giggle when I think how horrified she would be to see my new use for things…! Thank you for putting this on TH-cam, I’m glad I could see your craft room! Erica❤
It reminds me of my own space! No designer furniture, just odds and ends, almost identical chest of drawers, etc, etc....BUT it works for me and it's my safe haven. Thanks for sharing!
Love the tour! During covid l set up a craft studio on the middle of my living room and it's still there, growing by the week! Couldn't be happier🎉. USA
This is an Aladdins cave. This represent dedication to your craft, it’s absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much Christine. Wishing you both a fantastic holiday. Anne 🏴🇳🇿
Love your craft space, Chris! Optimal, organized use of compact space. You have what you need, when you need it, and storage for items you use less frequently. Very inspiring! It's got me thinking about how I can rework my limited space to get more function out of it. Enjoy your cruise, Chris. Of course, we''ll miss you, but reviewing your earlier videos will give us a treasure trove of great ideas, tips, and tricks. TFS. From Cheryl in AZ.
Thank you Christine for sharing your “Creating Haven” with us. For some reason it reminds me of many years ago when I was allowed in the cockpit of the plane, as I was nervous when flying to Spain. I was amazed how small the area was for two Pilots but it was explained that everything was in easy reach to fly us safely. 🦋xxx
Your craft room looks very much like mine and warms my heart! I have a small bedroom area too filled with a mismatch of shelf units, tables and file cabinets. I call it “early attic” decor. Go with what you got!
Love that you are a real person and have created your crafting storage out of whatever you have at hand! The occasional little hobby I started with has grown to a degree that I am having to rethink and re-imagine my storage space. Most of the videos about this are gorgeous, slick things that would require me to take out a loan! Your video reinforces my thought that what we really need to create a workable space for crafting is to take time to think and use our creativity to repurpose things we already have or can pick up inexpensively at a thrift store.
Your craft space is a bit like mine in that there is organisation but is not organised to within an inch of its life, although you have a lot more than I do, being a you tuber. Thanks for sharing! Now when you say you had a good old rummage I can visualise what you mean 😊
Oh brilliant. All us old crafters are the same. Make use of all the old bits of furniture. Now the young ones would have someone come and design and make shelves lol. Love it Christine. Mine is just the same.
Thank you for showing youre room. If friends come in my craftroom, they get overwhelmed of my stuff. I embroider and have my machines, and threats, and now i am infected by card making, so did get more stuff, and new trolleys.😁 I was so happy some older lady give away there table, so i changed my tables with pc. And card making stuff.😂
I love it Christine ❤ I'm always sorting mine, I find it quite satisfying! I don't have a lot of energy, so I need to do more crafting, less sorting, almost certainly less buying! ❤
Absolutely love your creative space. Like many of your viewers, I have furniture that started life with a totally different purpose. Keep up the beautiful work ❤.
I love it❤️. Honestly, I believe it’s exactly like the majority of us doing our “artsy” things! When we moved just recently I was thrilled to have a larger room along with a small building in the backyard (is still empty)… Like you, I like having everything I need out and ready…. To some , my husband, it appears complete chaos but I know exactly where everything is:) I sew, paint oil and watercolor , make jewelry among other miscellaneous crafts so it’s completely full of my favorite items ❤ Thank you for sharing. I just can’t spend so much money on crafting furniture like I have seen in so many videos. Old furniture and tables are fantastic and I don’t feel bad if I happen to get paint in any of them. You are a jewel
Like you my craft room is using bedroom furniture from my children's bedroom but it extends into other rooms as well. The thing is as long as we are having fun we don't need all these fancy streamlined set ups. Have a wonderful time on holiday.❤
It is a perfect craftroom Christine 💗 I love how you have repurposed different pieces of furniture, I have too 🙌 Thanks for the tour, I loved it, you have given me some great ideas too xx 😊🌻
♥️♥️♥️it Ms.Chrissie!!! That’s what I call a heavenly Craft room!!! No wonder Cleo ♥️’s hanging out with you whenever she’s visiting. Thanks for sharing!!!
Love your space! Much better organized than mine. I've got my craft stuff all over the house, even though I have a spacious craft room, the former bedroom of our daughter who got married four years ago. I've got 12 x 12 paper pads in the living room and in my husband's study. I've even got some in my dresser in our bedroom with my shorts, lol. The 6x6 pads are in the craft room. The majority of my 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock is in my husband's study, and the 12 x 12 cardstock is in the living room. None in the craft room! My punches, stamps and dies are equally distributed in the craft room and in the living room. And so it is with all my craft stuff. I usually know where everything is, except sometimes I forget, then I have to go through everything to find it. I watch a lot of craft organization videos, in fact they are my favorite, and vow to get my stuff at least in one location, but to no avail, lol.
It is very much like mine. My craft desk is a piece of work top stationed between 2 sets of drawers. Then bits and pieces donated and fitted in when I needed them. I love it. And love yours because I'm not the only with a repurposed craft room
I love how you utilized your space with what you already had! My room is the same. I find pleasure out of finding new purposes for items I already own instead of buying new. Thanks for the inspiration
I don't have a quarter of the stuff that you have, but yours it still a lot tidier than my room!! 😂 Thanks for sharing your precious space. We can all visualize where you are now. 😬xxx
It's so fun to see where you create Chrissie! There is n nothing in your room that is a "hot mess". If it works for you, then it is perfect and that is what it is all about right?! We do what works for us. Everything is nicely organized as well. I will never have a streamline, gorgeous craft room that some have and I'm ok with that. I feel I am blessed to have a crafting space! Thanks so much for sharing your space with us!!! Now enjoy that holiday! Hugs, Brenda
You have utilized your space well! I, too have a laser printer that refuses to print on cardstock but instead mangles it into a wad as it tries to move through the mechanism. I do enjoy your videos with your sweet voice and lovely laugh.
Perfect.. All of our craft rooms look like this I believe! That space allows you to make BEAUTIFUL THINGS to share with us. Creativity is a Gift !!! Watch All your videos and most of them multiple times. Thank you for sharing! I would show you my shop but can't seem to figure out how to do that?
Oh how i envy you your storage Christine. My room is much smaller and due to electric wires up walls, i cant have a lot of shelving. Thank you for showing us. There are some ideas to be considered.
So this is where all the magic happens! What a delight to finally get to see your special space. Nice to see you use what you have to organize the collection rather than have everything custom built. So encouraging too I have a lot of very similar things and am reorganizing now. I had too many wood mounted stamps I wasn't using so put them on EZ mount. You would not love the stickiness of the cling foam, but it can be combatted with antistatic powder and scissors needed Citrasol, an orange smelling degreaser to un stick them. Made a big difference in amount of storage I freed up. How do you store your cling stamps?
What amazing things you do with actually so little space! You sure are well organized, my room is larger but seems I can't find anything I need when it is time to use something. I need organization lessons!!!!! Have a wonderful trip - can't wait to hear all about it.
I will miss you too. I wait each day for your video. I too will go back and refresh my memory on some of the past techniques. I hope you have a wonderful time on your cruise. I am off to Norway in September on a cruise having done Norway and Iceland last year. I wanted to see a bit more of Norway and hopefully the northern lights if I’m lucky. Safe trip xxx
Loved seeing where you work Christine, and reassuring that my space looks quite similar! 🤣🤣. Just to say will miss you over the next two weeks whilst you’re on your cruise- have a fabulous time- but meanwhile, I’ll revisit some of my favourite videos of yours and be re inspired all over again!
Folder guides. Our skills are based on older versions. But I find it wonderful! I should send pics of some of my storage tricks. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for this, I looked on Facebook and didn't find these. I would say our craft rooms look very similar except you have less piles than I have. Have a great day!
So many of us have craft rooms such as yours - not the ultra organized showroom of products that so many of the you tube creators/demonstrator show. They make a living of their craft and I applaud them but for the rest of us... Your space feels like home.
I saw a quick peek of this on Instagram. Thanks for adding it as a video. You didn't even mention your lovely mixed media shelf from your Dirty Weekend! I purchased the kit BUT the videos are no longer available so I'll have to see if I can figure it out. "See" you when you're back from your Holiday!
I can always try and help if you have any questions... if I can remember what I did! I'm going on another weekend in September, in Kent this time. Should be fun!
Wow, you have so many dies and ink pads etc. I store my dies by type not maker. So all my flowers or animals etc are together. Love that you have everything so close at hand and organized. Now I can picture how “the magic happens”. On a recent video you mentioned where the charity shop is that you sometimes find dies at. I didn’t make note of the name at the time and hoping you can tell me where and the name.thanks
You should do your foiling on a light weight card and use it as a card front. Would that work? Thanks for showing your room. It’s interesting to see how others deal with all the stuff we accumulate!
Love it Exactly like mine … jam packed it still amazes me what I find when I start looking .. although this is double edged as sometimes realise I have items I purchased before and end up with doubles You are a little bit more organised than I Christine However it’s great to see that you don’t need ikea type craft rooms to be functional x
Christine, My crafting space is full of furniture from my son's room and looks pretty much the same - so it is not stream lined as some other You Tube crafters - but I mainly have fun in mine! Karen from Michigan🥰
Sorry not watched for ages, back to when you had lamp trouble. I've just found watching on my phone to difficult. When I eventually manage to sort out watching youtube on my telly I will have a great binge. So glad I caught this video though, please can you get your melt pot out, mine is also sadly under used😂 Eleanor xx
I have got to sort through my haul and find new temporary home for it we are having a new carpet up the stair’s and I craft under the eaves on the third floor so all my stuff has to be moved out of and around my storage units I keep telling my self it’s a good chance to get organised 😬
Christine, while you are away will it suffice to watch a video? If we have already seen it we can’t “like “ it again. I just want to be sure we are of help correctly.
It looks alot more organised than my craft room 🎉
😀😀😀🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for sharing! I wondered how you were able to reach everything so easily!
Thanks for watching!
Absolutely right, can now visualise the rummaging, exactly like all of us in real life ❤x
My craft room is like yours, organically grown and quite full. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I have to "ditto" others comments....the vast majority of us simply find an unused area and make it work for us. @@LadyJP6969 thanks so much❤️❤️❤️
It looked a lot like mine😅. But I think you like me, know where the things are? Lovely room you got there, lots of great times spending there too ❤
I love being in there!

They are mainly in drawers either in themes or by brand.

Exactly like mine … jam packed it still amazes me what I find when I start looking .. although this is double edged as sometimes realise I have items I purchased before and end up with doubles
You are a little bit more organised than I Christine
However it’s great to see that you don’t need ikea type craft rooms to be functional x
You are not alone in buying things twice, just shows that you really liked it!🤣🤣🤣
Christine, My crafting space is full of furniture from my son's room and looks pretty much the same - so it is not stream lined as some other You Tube crafters - but I mainly have fun in mine! Karen from Michigan🥰
That's what it's all about isn't it... having fun and being happy!😊
❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️
Hi Chris, where do we accumulate all this stuff lol ,we all do it lol thanks for showing your room .😁
Thanks for watching!
WOW! 😊
❤️❤️❤️
Sorry not watched for ages, back to when you had lamp trouble. I've just found watching on my phone to difficult. When I eventually manage to sort out watching youtube on my telly I will have a great binge. So glad I caught this video though, please can you get your melt pot out, mine is also sadly under used😂 Eleanor xx
I don't remember how to use it, I'll have to look for some directions!🤣🤣🤣
Hello Christine chaque fois que je vois ta scraproom , j ai honte de la mienne . Bravo et bonne journée 🤩👏👋👋👋
I'm sure your room is lovely!❤️❤️❤️

Thanks🚢🚢🚢
I hope you have a lovely holiday xx
Thanks🚢🚢🚢
I have got to sort through my haul and find new temporary home for it we are having a new carpet up the stair’s and I craft under the eaves on the third floor so all my stuff has to be moved out of and around my storage units I keep telling my self it’s a good chance to get organised 😬
Good luck!
I lost you! I had to subscribe your page again!
I had noticed numbers going down again, it’s really saddening ! Thanks for re - subscribing !
I love your hot mess!
Thanks❤️❤️❤️
A hot mess 😆😆😆 Nice you see you have repurposed some useful pieces
😁🤣😊😀🥰
Ps after reading all the other comments we are all the same lol
Christine, while you are away will it suffice to watch a video? If we have already seen it we can’t “like “ it again. I just want to be sure we are of help correctly.
I'm not totally sure but the number of plays and the length of time it's watched for makes a difference I believe. 🤔
@@Chrissieannie ok. I will re watch while you are away! Have a wonderful time.
