- Hey everyone,
Happy 2024 🎉🎉🎉. We are starting off the year with a craftroom tour then I’ll have videos deep diving into sections of my craftroom to show how I organize everything. I will also go over what I love about my space and what I don’t. Then I’ll have updates throughout the year showing how its evolved/changed. This is the year for all of us to clean, purge, and organize our crafty spaces. IT FEELS SOOOO GOOD WHEN ITS CLEAN 🥰😜!!!
Please feel free to share your ideas and best practices so that we can all find ways to make our crafty spaces be as efficient as possible no matter the size. 😉

The best thing I ever did for my crafting and craftroom was to stop buying things just because they were cheap. The “stuff” not only cluttered my craftroom but it cluttered my mojo😆

I love your room, just like you I am in a current situation. My daughter was diagnosed a month ago today with leukemia and I also have a bag that I bring with me to craft. Thank you for inspiring me and for making these videos that help me distract me with everything going on with her. You are the best.
Oh no I’m so sorry. I know how this kind of news flips your world upside down but you can get thru it. ❤️ Crafting in the hospital definitely helped me keep my mind off of things because as a parent you are helpless in these situations. I’ll definitely keep her in my prayers for a speedy recovery ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼
I have finally met my match when it comes to the amount of paper and pads. Lol. I have got to get in my craft rooms, yes rooms, and clean up and organize. My original craft room is in the smallest bedroom and when my son moved out I took over his room with overflow, it’s directly across the hall so it works kinda. Of course idealistic I would want everything in one room. My biggest problem is I never get rid of anything. Your craft room looks great, I love it. Hopefully by watching your video I’ll get off my bum and get to cleaning. TFS.
Yasss this is the year for all of us to get organized 😜. It’s ok to have 2 rooms just as long as both are organized lol. I would love to have a jewelry room and a paper craft room 😜. Or the other room could be holiday stuff things that you don’t get to all the time. If you do start organizing be sure to share pics using the hashtag. I so want to see everyone’s crafty spaces 🥰

See, you did it!!! Your room is just amazing!! Take a few moments to enjoy your accomplishments before you move on to your next declutter steps!! I agree..things that you use all of the time need to be at your fingertips!!! And not on your workspace for storage!!! I like the side storage on your drawer cabinet. I repurposed a slim cardboard box, covered by 12 x 12 to store paper trimmer, envelope punch board, paper towels, etc. it’s on my floor under my craft desk.. it works for now, but not a permanent solution. Picking up many ideas!! Keep going….❤

For decluttering I highly recommend Dana K White. Try to find time to learn her systems. Definitely worth the time. She’s on TH-cam and while she does have books , the information is available on her channel forfree

I label everything too! I usually use painters tape on drawers and cupboards…easily removable for when I change my mind and reorganize again!
Your crafty space is absolutely amazing. I was able to redo mine due to a move. I created a project, looked around and thought “what in the world happened here!” It only takes a second for it to look like working chaos. Looks so functional. New subbie. Veronica

I have a she shed for quilting /crafting… after I settle in I was not comfortable how I organized everything…. It took me more than a year to find a spot for everything to the point that now I feel organized . But we keep buying that came to a point that now I also have a mini she shed in the house…. I don’t regret it … you live once … so don’t feel bad keep buying more ribbons 🤣🤣… nice room too… enjoy

I know for me it can get out of control quick. I've been reorganizing, but I swear there is always one section that is the valley of the losted, lol. I love watching craft organizations videos, get some great ideas. I took all of my ribbon off the spool and wrap them around light weight chipboard cut in a thread spool shape. Can store alot of ribbon in a small space.
Oh my that would take me years lol. But I also love looking at my ribbon 😊. I might do that with some smaller amounts of ribbon? I need to be to see it as much as possible though or I won’t use it 😜

Yep that’s the worse part lol. But luckily for me most of my goodies are where I want them. I just have a few things that I want to redo 😅
And we all thought I had a lot of paper 😂 think you got twice as much as I do if not more with your vault stash alone !

Oh and I went to use my nuvo drops the other day and I think it may just be a new go to thing for me. Making “enamel dots” in advance
😂😂😂 that doesn’t count. The vault is a “collection” 🤣🤣🤣. You still tho might have more cuz you have like double the bins than me. Maybe lol. I’ve tried the enamel dot thing with the Nuvo drops but I wasn’t very good at it. Maybe I’ll try again to get more white ones 😜
@@letsgetscrappy2654 nah because you got like 12 bins in a column and I only have 10! And I was t very good at it either. But I ran out of white enamel dots when making cards the other day and needed to make some more. You gotta tap them against a desk is what I just figured out to flatten kind of and make them perfectly round ! I’ll have to send you a photo of what mine looks like

I loved this! I’m organizing as well. What helps me is to label everything so I don’t have to guess what’s inside. If everything is labeled I can find things easier when I move things around. Especially when some of the containers aren’t see through! And keeping everything that is a category all in one place and not in three different places!!🤣😂 You’re doing great! Keep it up! I love your videos and tutorials.💕

Yes!!! I love this and love the once a month idea. I have been trying for years to get my space in order just so that I can craft and use what I have. I have way too much and it just overwhelms me to think that I have to dig to get to something. I 100% agree with if you pile you won't use because you don't want to move things. Lol.
I am looking forward to your series and I wish I was bold to share my progress. I have actually made great progress this year since I stopped working the extra jobs but it still feels never-ending. Lol.

You have way more than what I have and I have a small apartment and not enough space for everything. I bought a new shelving units. I like its still standing with what I have on there. I'm sitting on the floor doing my crafts. My kitchen table there is a lot of stuff on it
I sit on the floor all the time too lol. I didn’t have a craft room in our other house and just crafted on the floor too so I feel ya. 😜
Loved the video tour! You gave me ideas! I have a lot of those same michaels cubes and I can’t wait to see how yours are organized…I feel like I don’t use mine right. Also, thanks for the heads up that Macys has those iris carts! I have wanted and where I work has reward points that you can get gift cards and Macys is one…they don’t have michaels so I will use the macys one to purchase those! I need a bunch so will buy a couple at a time! Thanks Tiffany…you are the best❤!

The carts will be here Wednesday! I have a decent sized room, but it has the angled walls on two side as it’s upstairs so I don’t get a lot of vertical space…keep doing what you’re doing and I will keep watching and admiring all your pretties! ❤
@@allisontheisen4074 there are shelves now for angled walls. You should look into those they could be a game changer for your space 😊. I know that IKEA had some cool looking ones.

Love your room. Last year I got lucky (lol) the water heater in the garage leaked and the water needed up in the closet of my craft room with carpet. So I emptied out the room (OMG) and moved it allllll out and had floor, recessed lighting, crown molding, new cabinet and a new desk put into the room. Love it now. It’s been finished for 4 months and I’m still not all organized. It takes time. Like you, I need everything at eyes view and at arms reach. Otherwise I forget about it and I won’t use it.

We have the same room! I really struggle with the window in the middle and having my desk in front of it.I have to see everything too or it doesn't exist! I've tried drawers and so far keeping my least used items in the drawers is working. I really need more counter space so now im trying to go up with stacking kallax units. Going to hang my TV on the wall because I need the counter space! Tfs your room bc I need ideas! I want to see it ALL haha
Yes going up is good. I’m with you on needing more surface space. I keep removing things from the top to give me more room. I just did a project and I used all the newly cleaned space that I had plus the floor 😂. There’s never enough space lol

I have had a Cricut Air for a few years, thinking I would love it, but after it took over 2 hours to figure out how to cut USA with a shadow letter behind each of the letters, I was left feeling just frustrated! 😣 I had a regular cricut with lots of cartridges that I gave to a niece who is a teacher, and now I am so mad that I did that- but just didn’t have room for 2 Cricuts + all the cartridges, so had to get rid of one- should have given my more “techie” niece the Cricut Air 😂

I'm so jealous of your craft space! I live in a studio so my space is small and I have cats so I store everything in drawers or closed bins.
I have cats too! And live in a tiny house that's very closed off. The cats lay on every available counter so I can't leave anything out. But I love them so...sigh
@@Staceyintampa My cats are everything to me. They are brothers from the same litter and all very large. They all stand over 3ft tall on their hind legs and 2 weigh over 25lbs and the other is about 15lbs.
Ooh small spaces can still be fun. You just have to have furniture pieces that are versatile 😊

Where did you get the wood organizer you used to house your wood stamps in? Love it! Also, are those little Ball jars holding your sequins/glitter or are they special little jars? I have a bunch of small Ball jars, but haven’t figured out a way to display them yet! 😜

I got the wood thing at a thrift store 🤷🏻♀️. I sometimes pop in to see if I can find things that would work for my craft room plus garage sales 😉. I didn’t even know those jars were called ball jars. I’ve been calling them beer glass mason jars 🍺 😂. I got them from Amazon I’ll be adding more links soon.
This was so fun to see! And yes, you are organized and have a lot of stuff in a small space. I think I should just bring my truck over and we can fill it so you have more room 🤣🤣🤣 No judging on my part!!! I'm actually curious about your card stock. I also use CCC Artisan for albums; I have no My Color cardstock. You had quite a large section of colored cardstock and me, being Mrs. Noseypants, want to know what brands you buy. Other than that, I am really looking forward to more craft room videos. I loved this ♥
Heehee 😉. Most of the non CCC cardstock is Bazzill that I’ve gotten from Craft stores closing and Tuesday Morning. But non of it ever matches my projects when I need it to 🤣🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

Walmart has some really great containers to fit 12 x 12 paper for $6.97. I use them for so many different organizational projects
When I reorganized last year I purged all my stampin up stuff. Except for card stock ink pads and punches of course.
Well what else was there lol? I have stamps but not a ton so they’re just sitting there looking pretty lol. Have you been able to craft yet?
@@letsgetscrappy2654 no. I’m so depressed about it too. 😂 my shoulders hurt the most but I have regained my left arm usage back!! Yay!! I am just having super sharp muscle spasms. Hopefully that will lessen up in a week or less. Fingers crossed. I had a ton of stampin up stamping and die sets. Like a ton a ton. But I ended up keeping all the cardstock I had. I think I’m going to purge the ink pads soon too. I never use them anymore. I had to get another 6 tier iris unit for my paper too. My biggest issue is trying to find a good way to store my Tim holtz ideaology stuff. I swear I could open a store and sell the stuff. I have so much but I just stash it like a crazy collector. 😂

I have seen your videos here and there but never comment. First time I’m commenting. Room is looking nice Anna that’s also my color theme for my art studio.i would suggested you to build a wood box instead of putting a wood board on top..I did that with the 3 plastic drawers. Make sure the nice and tuck in so the wood don’t sag on top.. but you can also reinforce in between with thick chipboard.i wish I could put a pic here.

Yes .. I build I wood box for the whole draw unite like a if you'll make wood shelves, but instead printing shelves you'll put your drawers inside the box.. Hope you get it now..I measure all 3 of the drawers how long will be together to make the top and bottom and add 2 inches for the sides, then the high and add at least 2 inches for both side for the top and bottom so I can put the sides inside for reinforcement..I wanted a small space on top for canvas..

You have a fantastic space! I get so envious of these craft rooms with all the wall space!! I have a room that has 4 doorways, a fireplace and 2 very large windows that I argued with myself over putting something in front of. Well, this year, I put something in front of one of them and I now have so much storage! Yay! And that closet!! That's like a little mini craft room attached to a craft room. lol :)
I know it’s so hard if you don’t have wall space. But glad that you figured something out to expand ❤️. N yes I LOVE the extra closet 🥰🥰🥰😜

I was so lucky to have bought a bookcase years ago for our young son that has 14 inch high shelves. Now that he is grown up and gone, it is going in the stamp room to hold my 12 X 12 paper pads. They never get used because they are stacked and hard to get to right now. So now it will be easy. Eventually, I hope to take the paper out of the pads and find a way to categorize them. Have to figure that out as I go along. Maybe a variation of the Totally Tiffany way. I have bought the plastic verticle containers to hold the sorted papers already. Really looking forward to using them. So much about your room is to be envied. You have gotten a lot into your space. I think we could all have been excellent working for a moving company. We could fill up those trucks, no problem! 😊

I moved rooms in the summer and am steadily improving the layout but there is piles to go through and like you said if it’s in piles I’m never getting to the bottom. Marathon not a sprint xx
I so hate all the piles lol. I’m trying to make sure that I go through the piles each week. I have a few left in my craft room and now have some that I’ve made to Destash 🤦🏻♀️
@@letsgetscrappy2654 destashing is so hard but then afterwards I don’t even know what I let go. I donated a car boot full of stuff to a local children’s charity as I just don’t have the space in my new room and I can only remember a few bits that went so I probably didn’t need it to start with 🤷♀️

The only thing is I can’t put anything on the walls, and can only use a fourth of the room, but the room is huge. Do you have any suggestions? I do have a big closet, but it’s not walk-in. Any tips or anything would be so helpful. I can’t find anybody on TH-cam with a similar situation. Thank you! Would love to see a deep dive into paper organization!

I got it from Michaels a long time ago. I don’t think they have it anymore but there are a few out there just a little smaller I think. Home Depot n Amazon have similar units 😊

I don’t know for sure because it’s been a long time since I measured it but I thinks it’s like 10 x 13 ish 😉
Love your craft room. I live in Australia and would like your paper containers. What would they actually be called so i can try and track them down. ( P.S.. I'm not hopefull)
They are Iris 5 or 6 Drawer Rolling Storage Carts. I don’t put the wheels on and stack them how I want 😊
WOW! You can get a lot in your room! I have been organizing as well. I got new furniture almost a year ago. I opted to get non craft room type furniture. It's been a bit of a challenge figuring out what will fit on my book shelves, credenza cabinet, desk etc., but when I saw your Instagram post I ended up ordering 2 sets of storage with drawers. They work great. I was wondering if you could do a video on your Cuttlebug and why you like it the best? I had one when they first came out and did not like it. It did not look like yours though. I take it they are not selling them anymore? I have a VERY old Sizzix Big Kick and still love it, but was wanting to get something a little more portable.
I love seeing rooms with non traditional units just as much as the ones with it. It’s so fun to see things done differently. I linked my friends craft room in the description box. Her entire room is non traditional and so pretty. I love my cuttle bug what did you not like about it? I really just like that I can carry it all over if needed. Like you said it’s very portable. 😊
@@letsgetscrappy2654 I just checked her room out. It's so pretty! I bought my Cuttle Bug when it first came out and looked way different than yours. The handle kept breaking. I had 2 of them and returned both of them and bought the Big Kick. Can you tell me what the model number on yours is. I'm assuming I can buy a used one somewhere?? I would love to have something that was a little more portable.

I’ve had mine for 3-5 years and I’ve only had a few dry out but I don’t open every color often. The ones that I use the most have never dried out tho so I always wonder if they were dried already when I got them. But I’m right there with you 😉
