Why is she just talking about kids and their "entertainment"? How long do they think modern kids remains interested in these things, maybe 1min and then go play playstation etc.? I consider these as decorative items which has nothing to do with age.

first of all the 1st one isn't a plasma globe, maybe just a lamp.
Mine went low emission and looks like crap now.
