I love the biblical references in this video; the seven-headed dragon from Book of Revelation, the lion that protected the prophets against the pagans, the little girl beginning her attack with just a stone and slingshot, like David defeating Goliath, her picking up the sword (from an angel statue) and fighting the beast with it, much like the archangel Michael fighting the devil, and a crumbling city that collapses, just like the walls of Jericho or Sodom and Gomorrah during the time of Abraham. This is an awesome video for combining these themes, and has a good message about not giving up in the face of insurmountable odds and certain death. Love Skillet.

When I was at least 19 my whole life changed, I have my first panic attack and anxiety during that age. It scarred me for 3 years. Three whole years, I lived under fear and pain. It was like cold flame surrounding my body. I couldn’t bare it and I thought I just wanted to end it.... but I can’t. I friggin LOVE this!! The lion and the girl can have so many archetypal meanings. They are both strong and willing to die for each other. The monster is so busy throwing them around they don't notice the weakening structures that finally collapse. The animation is different and poignant. Like the old silent movies, so much emotion and fear and determination is conveyed with a single glance. Norma Desmond would be proud. I'm so glad to have stumbled across this work of art.

Wow, I love all the Christian innuendos in this song! This song is clearly about our lord Jesus Christ dying on the cross, hence what they were saying when he said goodbye and he "flat lined". He was beaten down, but he didn't die. Instead, he didn't die, he came back from the grave for us which what the end of the video represented. The buildings falling on the serpent and the Lion and the little girl walking away into the sun. Also, adding the little girl into this kind of like a David and Goliath reference was a neat add in.

I'm not a Christian (ex-christian) I'm actually a witch of 4yrs, however, skillet will always remain one of my favorite bands. I was obsessed with them as a kid. Whenever I felt alone, I would listen to their songs and would feel like I could take on anything. Keep up the good work Skillet!

Wow, I love all the Christian innuendos in this song! This song is clearly about our lord Jesus Christ dying on the cross, hence what they were saying when he said goodbye and he "flat lined". He was beaten down, but he didn't die. Instead, he didn't die, he came back from the grave for us which what the end of the video represented. The buildings falling on the serpent and the Lion and the little girl walking away into the sun. Also, adding the little girl into this kind of like a David and Goliath reference was a neat add in.
