A Giant-like People:
Not long after arriving in the New World, Captain John Smith explored and mapped the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. In 1608, at the mouth of the Chesapeake, he met a tribe known as the Susquehannocks who were much larger than Europeans and the other indigenous tribes of the area.

I once read an old book I found in an antique store that spoke of the susquehannocks. I was helping the guy clean up his store and on lunch breaks I would read this series of histories. It was very interesting. They were fierce warriors. They would often defeat big coalitions of Iroquois, other native american nations, and Europeans even though vastly outnumbered. About 300 of them held a fort while surrounded by military of Maryland and Virginia. These guys were like the Spartans of native americans. But also a sad ending as european diseases took most of them out and the remainder were hunted down by bounty hunters. I need to try to find that book. Wish I bought it when I had the chance.

I am from Maryland, the DC area and I always felt there were weird things about that state!!
The fact that such well known historical figures have documented these encounters but yet,....I NEVER heard of such events covered in history class when I was in the Maryland public school system!

Of course their not going to tell us about Giants it doesn't fit into their narrative. If you look at the other stuff that was written down by this guy and others in that time you'll see that it is taught in school as fact.One day the truth will be known by all. Great video!!!
I think it's worth noting that the description of the calf meant "around".... that would mean his calf was close to 27 inches around. That is huge!! Rethinking this would make this man huge. He is not over bulky like a body builder but is built more like a runner. and consider the length of the arrow, 5 quarters of a yard, that would be 3.75 feet (45 inches)... the ability to draw the bow from the arrow head (1.5 inches) to the feathered end would make his arm around 38 to 40" long?... because his hand would be closed around the shaft of the long bow!! The leg would be longer.
