      Hey I checked again, if you look at 1:28, then there is no space between the headlight and the windshield. So I'm not sure how will that go up as it seems at its lowest setting.

    Excellent observations my friend, I think there is a chance those rear passenger pegs may be removable for the first time on an RE, via a Triumph type hidden bolt in the back of the peg shaft. Check them out again and see what you think?

    Extra tall bore over the std 650 motor doesn't necessarily mean a 750cc. It could also mean RE has a new long stroke 650 motor with gobbs of torque for the given CC capacity just the like the original 411 style tractor engine, except in a twin. I say this because one of the constant comments of the new 450 motor is that people miss the tractor nature of the old engine given the revy nature of the new motor.

    I'd just hope they offer an adjustable front forks on the Him 450.
    This bike (750 or 850) will easily be 220+ kgs. After having ridden extensively in the Himalayas, I have decided to never go beyond 200 kgs and as light as possible. I don't enjoy riding on a highway so these big capacity bikes don't interest me.
    I am waiting for KTM 390 adv to be released to decide between it and the Him 450. Also depends on ktm's future.

    Hello SG wishing you a happy and prosperous new year. Recently i saw the rate of break pads for 450 and its pretty much expensive. Is there an alternate break pads available for 452 ?? And when to change the brake pad ??

    • @SrinivasGanesh
      @SrinivasGanesh  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Change them when they are just before showing signs of completely wearing out. A lot of companies are there that offed the brake pads. Versah is nice. Brembo is good however tad bit expensive. And original RE pads are also very nice and capable. Honestly one doesn’t need to go for aftermarket if they don’t want to. RE products are equally good.

    Yes this bike has adjustable forks but it also has the mechanism on the front fork for measuring compression. Having adjustable forks allows the test riders to quickly change settings in situations where, say they are riding several times over the same road. It does not mean that the final production version will have adjustable forks once the factories idea of optimal settings is achieved.
    I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the BMW style pannier mounting rails under the pillion seat. No more panner frames just "factory" special mounts that will limit choice of panniers and push up accessory prices.
    You can tell from the valves that the wheels fitted are tube type. I think that is a mistake on a bike like this in 2025/26. We are past the days of tube tyres on mid size or larger road biased bikes.

    • @SrinivasGanesh
      @SrinivasGanesh  วันที่ผ่านมา

      @RichardReeve_K1W1 First part may be true, I did mention that RE is currently running some tests on this bike.
      Second part: Yes this does look very interesting! Apologies that I missed it.
      Third part: Yes tubeless wheels don't make sense indeed, which is why I believe that they will sell tube type, as those are cheaper, and later on once the bike is launched, they will introduce tubeless spoked wheels as a separate accessory. Like they have done with the New Himalayan recently and now the 350 Goan Classic.

  • @increasingsun
    @increasingsun 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    You can make it 1000cc too.
    Unless RE figures out premium customers targeted services, big bikes will never sell.
    KTM faced the same now RE will face it too.
    Mechanics deadline with hunter woll service this bike and the kind of service such as prioritising, customer care support, warehousing or storing support is the same.
    This will never allow RE to play premium game as it’s evident now that RE is moving higher for premium margins.

    • @SrinivasGanesh

      If RE is smart in its GTM, price band between 5-7lakhs for himalayan 750/850 is right there to be exploited.
      None can match it
      top it with premium service, its a banger.
      KTM could have blown the market with 8-10 band by offloading unsold inventory, yet they decided to get jackass pricing which will kill them.

    • @SrinivasGanesh
      @SrinivasGanesh  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes while 850 might be there however there ate quite a lot of rules and restrictions in place. Plus RE has always been a brand for the masses. If given a choice to produce motorcycles which a common man can buy and produce a handful of bikes which can cater to those people that can afford a litre class then it would always choose the former as it has been doing that.
