I would still appreciate to see them. These were really good tips. even if you dont have the time to make the vids, could you just share your written ideas or something. The thing is, most other guides out there are either "here is how to survive the first 10 days" & "heres how to survive winter" or they are " here is how to make the killzor 500 mega farm in your day 1000+ base after you have rushed the ruins and dealt with every problem the game offers." There ar every few videos that cover the TONS of gameplay between those two and your tips really seem to hit that sweet spot, at least for me.
I would love to see the next four videos you mention, but seeing as it is 1 year ago you might not be thinking about that anymore or have moved on to another game, so picking your brain for the tips in any other way that would suit you better would also make me very happy.
It's rare to find a tutorial for normal don't starve these days.

I've been playing DS/DST for years and i didn't know several of these. was espically interested in the wall tricks and the final bee one, which had the bonus of teaching me you could put out fires with ice. thank you.

I'm the "Do you have food?" of the group, everyone always come to me to find food and sometimes I end up forgetting about myself and starving to death. That's really helpful.
Great video. Nice voice.
The melee-ing rabbits tip is especially useful with beardlings in the early game. I like staying insane for nightmare fuel for a ruins rush so they are a nice supplementary source, alongside nightmare creatures and graves

I had such a hard time when i started and this is what was missing for me, it helps so much !
The werepigs drop exactly the right amount of items to make a ham bat (minus the sticks). so having 4 monster meat and a pig is a good way to get a ham bat if you need a good weapon while out traveling.
This is helpful for me who always die and some videos I watched aren't that much of a help, it's more of a burden. Thank you for the basic tips tho! 😭

if you use a trap around a spider den, you can get spider loot, a good way to deal with spider warriors , if you hate fight or dont have armor

You don't need a butterfly to be still for you to kill it. You just need to be really close when you attack. It works best if you move with the mouse and attack by pressing Ctrl-F.

Thank for the video, really helpful with all the things non logical that has the game, something i would like to see is how to effectively get gears in early game
+MrMelckor Find clockwork creatures, dig graves, pick tumbleweed (6% chance from each tumbleweed). If you are comfortable a fast guaranteed way is to go to the ruins but thats probably a bad idea if you alrdy need advice to get gears.

I never knew about CTRL F, i always chased rabits and butterflies all over the place, same with turkeys, only i'd chase them to the edge of the map to kill them so they had no where else to run. God i hate those dumb ass birds.

Made it to day 62 and never actually saw a krampus , Did I get seriously unlucky?
EDIT: Corrected lucky to say "Unlucky" apologies on that front!
+Terry Meme You want krampus so you can get the krampus sack.
Krampus isn't a naturally occurring spawn. The game has a hidden counter called "Nautiness" that increases when you kill what the game deems an "innocent creature" (mostly any non-monster). It usually goes up by 1-2 points at a time, accrued by killing rabbits, birds, and butterflies, but some things like baby beefalo and smallbirds add 5 or 6., and it decreases slowly over time. Once your Nautiness hits 50, Krampus(es) spawns nearby and tries to steal your stuff off the ground and out of chests, then vanishes when nothing is left unless you attack him.
One thing to note is that in the base game, killing Glommer is worth 50 Nautiness and instantly spawns Krampus(es). Outside of that, to my knowledge most people use Wickerbottom books to spawn a bunch of birds, put them to sleep, then kill them to summon him quickly and intentionally (afaik it's pretty difficult to summon him by accident or coincidence, though that may be because I only really play DST and the killing is split up among 3 or more people).

Get a fresh hambat or a dark sword and some armor, you will take one hit max and if you hit them before they do their hissing noise you won't get hit at all.
Kulthozuer also I'm not sure if this is correct but It takes three hits with a dark sword to kill Krampii?

If you do enough bad shit (Kill neutral or passive creatures) in a short enough time period he comes and tries to steal your shit and then wormholes out of the universe with it. You can kill him for an abysmal chance as getting the best backpack in the game.
