- Fun viewer submitted game of StarCraft 2 between two Platinum League Terran players. In this Terran versus Terran both players manage to get a lot of SCV kills in the first minutes of the game.

Well the first part did happen abit
Just incase you guys are wondering how this could possibly be platinum league,let me explain:
Korean server silver league experience=your pathethic 200 APM is simply not enough to hold of your oponent's 400 APM multidirectional reaper rush,GG.
European server gold league experience= The cheese is strong,most players have some clue how to play a standart game,but if you push them out of their comfort zone they get silly fast.
US server platinum league experience= 2 undefended siege tanks are shooting at a supply depo,you have a battlecruzer,you dont use the BC to clean up and than kill the oponent,you straight up blink in his main,start shooting at his buildings so they burn(but you dont finish any of em)all while your entire main dies to 2 siege tanks(which you could litteraly kill if u A move the SCVs).No one has a clue what is going on,there is no beeing ahead or beeing behind,such concepts are completely foreign at this level,you could only have one low hp worker and 401 minerals,against 100 supply oponent and you could still somehow come back,the games are wild and unpredictable(which I find amazing).
It's a bit like voting for Trump 🤣

Well my first server is Asia and it full of Korean ;-;
For people having a hard time grasping the various rankings, I offer this guide:
*Bronze* : The mythic league, filled by streamers with dozens of viewers trying to hit the very bottom, and drug addicts who accidentally hit the wrong button while looking for custom maps.
*Silver* : The lowest league of people trying to actually win, but feel that their bold and "whacky" strategies can overcome build orders, transitions, and people who actually spend their resources.
*Gold* : Either knows how to follow a build order before being attacked (at which point they immediately fall apart,) or is a troll who knows how to rush but literally nothing else.
*Platinum* : Same as above, but slightly better at spending money, and can do something approximating micro. You can literally reach this far just by following a build order into a timing attack, and remembering to spend your money.
*Diamond* : Can follow build orders even after a setback (if only the one,) transitions, and generally remembers to spend resources (though will still tend to float badly once the action starts,) but tends to get stuck on an idea that isn't working.
*Master* : Follows the basics of what pros do, but generally lacks the APM and experience to break into Grandmaster. This is as high as you can go and still win with weird builds.
*Grandmaster* : Lowko, obviously. Who's this Serral loser? And Classic? Psh. Maru? More like Ma-loser. Just copy everything Lowko does, even- no, *especially* if you're Terran or Protoss. Duh.

When Jhonny was microing the viking he had more APM than Maru!

nah watching you shout while facepalming over dumb moves is half the fun of your vids so I doubt they will stop being sent just for that

Late Comment: Battlecruisers actually do more ground damage than air damage, so you really do not want to have you vikings landed when battlecruisers engage you

Best kind of game haha. Look, I never played a single 1v1 in SC2, I would probably be plastic league, but I still watch and enjoy all the pro games featured on this channel. Now seeing something like this, I cant help but think to myself, "even I could do better than that", like, give me those units in that exact same scenario and the game would have been done 5-6 mins earlier.
Is it just me or its part of being "the observer complex", where you see everything on top of Lowkos comments, which gives the correct reaction to every situation in a such an obvious way that you feel like even your grandma could handle this bunker rush and the rest of the game? Yeah... I would probably end up in a bronze league hero match for sure haha!

Remember back in the day when people thought Gold represented the best of the best? Nowdays this is Platinum. Has there been an inflation or something?
There has. For two reasons in fact : players have been playing for longer, and therefore got better ar this game. Second reason is F2P. It has brought a bunch of players, of various skills, but mostly of low level (casual players), and therefore, pre-f2p bronze players have been confronted to worse players, therefore making them silver, and by induction, pushing everyone up, WITHOUT a substantial skill improvement from the players. And in fact, the bottleneck of this upward push is Masters league, where actually good players keep the rest of us below this threshold
What? Gold has never been impressive. You get placed in Gold if you win like 3 of your placement matches.

As a low-gold player, whenever I see a gold-league or higher viewer game, I don't think "there's no way these guys can be x-league", I think "wow, I must be so terrible and worse than I think at this game."
I watch high leagu pkayers playing bronz like, but I have to fight perfectly playing people those are "silver" ranked ones!

Didn’t got it why he gots the engineering bay at the first place. Completely unnecessary structure for the situation. He should go for more Vikings or Cyclones in my opinion. Especially a cyclone can deal with the BC and harass the opponents minerals without landing the Viking and losing it in the process

Why am I gold and this is platinum? He was a-moving or force-firing battlecruisers when you should actually just REGULAR move them so they shoot at stuff along the way. He was trying to chase down those damn vikings and not shooting at the targets he was directly over. Don't force-fire at a target that is out of range and faster than you!
It was ok, the base was being build while that was going on.
Didn't even lose the battlecruiser.
What I always forget is repairing the battlecruisers and send them off nearly dead, oops!
@Tegridy Farms Yeah, ironically I think I carried over a lot of micro knowledge from having played other RTSes but generally hosed the macro just because i didn't have a good build order. Been better lately but still just hanging out in gold 2. I think now its just a matter of "I know what I need to do to win but if i forget steps I can get caught by surprise." Certainly not insurmountable, just gotta keep practicing.

Pretty sure you don't know what that word means. Floating off a command center to try and rebuild elsewhere while your opponent sieges your base is in no way griefing, or even a bad play.
