Super Vel was the hot ammo I would buy back in the 70's, great ammo!

Thank you for posting this. I did some testing between 115, 124, & 147 with my G34 and found i liked the 147 the best. Through my S2 the 124 felt and worked the best.

I've been running the PCC Blitz and the 124gr super vel ammo and it's been nothing but flawless!

I just got a shadow 2 and I'm running it with the super vel 115gr. I definitely want to try out the 124 and 147 in it now after watching this video! Thanks!

Ive found the 115gr to feel great in govt length 2011s. Gets that slide moving a little quicker with great return

Shot about 2k of the re-man 147 through my g34 and S2 with zero issues whatsoever. Same with the 115gr they have. Supervel really is the tits.

I shore like super vel ammo , it a dam shame none of my local gun stores don’t sale it, I’ve tried to get them to get it but they won’t , they say it’s not a well know ammo and people will not buy it, they won’t the bigger name brand ammunition hornaday federal Winchester Remington, the only way I can get some is if I drive 2 1/2 hours away to buds guns shop, I’ll keep trying to get my local gun stores to get it maybe one day they will

@@SuperVelAmmo yes, i no but I don’t trust the credit cards commies , the way they ave been given the fbi and atf information about ammo and guns getting bought, i do not trust them , it’s just a shame how the gun community is getting done ,and they are no gonna quit until they get what they won’t, total control of its citizens,

I love the 100 gr in my M&P my only issue is I bought 1500 rounds and it took almost two weeks to receive my order , my other issue is I just knew I was going to get a range patch for my range bag😞

Would you recommend the 115gr subsonic Copper Hollow Points for an edc option?

Great video thanks. What tune do you recommend for the shadow 2 with the 124s? I don't really want to tinker too much, but if it's a recoil or hammer spring swap I'm not against that necessarily. I have an SRO on mine rather than the Sig but assuming similar total slide mass. I did fire some 147s and the federal 150 syntechs and they are a bit sluggish on the slide and dot return so maybe the 124s will be perfect without any tuning. I believe the CZs are recommended to run 124 or 115 and have tight chambers and need fairly short OAL is that any concern with 147s or not at all?

For this shadow 2 I am running a 12lb hammer spring and an 11lb recoil spring. Seems like 11 or 12 on the recoil spring is most common with the 124g, depending on how you grip the gun. It's definitely not sluggish and will return much faster

Will the blitz ammo still run in a handgun? I want to use it in a Staccato XC. Don't care about PF.

Absolutely. Especially with that 7# spring it comes with

115g. It has more gas so the comp is actually utilized

I was under the impression that the 9mm was designed to shoot 124 grn. And the other weights were developed for other purposes later. Was I told wrong? 124 is all I shoot.

158 gr or blitz in a hand gun for soft recoil?

    • @mikeDstoker

100g BLITZ would be way softer. The 147g is also very soft

Super Val 9mm 115gr reloads "certified select" what I have left of 1,500 rounds... unfortunately these are the 'only' rounds that will cause a jam loading.
I can get 'new' Blazer Brass or Fiocchi for less $$$ and I've never had an issue ... guess it is what it is.
I will say, your 9mm Lugar +P SCHP 115gr runs like butter... but costly $$$$

@@SuperVelAmmo ... because of a newly sent email from SV I'm just now seeing your above reply. I know you're a stand-up company but unfortunately last weekend at the range I finally ran through the rest of my 1,500 rounds of your 115gr reloads and started getting more into my Blazer and Fiocchi 115gr and 124gr.
With the occasional jam issues I've experienced with your reloads (1-2 in every four mags of a12 round mag) and your price point on reloads plus delivery being once cent less 'delivered' vs new Blazer or Fiocchi that runs perfectly I'm hesitant to purchase more of your certified select 115gr reloads.
I can say, your full copper JHP 115 does run great and I use that for carry.
So, unless there may have been an 'off-batch' I got from SV ... for cost and performance I believe the 'new' Blazer and Fiocchi may be my better option.
I'll copy and paste this and sent it in an email and order number as requested.
