I’ve always loved vids like this. I’m hoping to chronicle my collection like this one day too. Also, I never knew about that Tales game. I gotta check that out now!
Their are a few that we didn't get, the psp had a TON of tales of and a few .hack games we didn't get, luckily teams are putting together translations of most of those games.
Nice collection. How does Astro Boy compare to the gba game? You might want to keep an eye out for Nanostray and Nanostray 2 for shooters for the ds. Also Bangi-o is fun.
Awesome DS colection bro! I absolutely love seeing those DS RPG's. I am a huge fan of the DS and have a lot of RPG's on it myself. I also have a few heavy hitters and am hoping to make a video of my collection hopefully in the next month or so. I am so excited to see someone else so passionate about Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: The Endless Frontier (wow, so many words)! I became Atlas fanboy once I played SMT Nocturne on Ps2. I lucked out because I ended up preordering Robot Tasen, Dark Spire, and few other Atlus games before they skyrocketed in price. The sad news about it though, I let a kid play my copy of Robot Taisen, and he ended up deleting my save file. Pretty sure I was close to beating the game lol. Definitely look forward to playing it again. Loved the vid and I just subbed!
Robot Taisen on the DS is one of my favorite RPGs on any system, its crazy how its soo different than the other games in the Taisen and Robot Wars series. If you like the DS game then check out Super Robot Wars OG the Moon Dwellers on PS4, its a strategy RPG but it has Haken Browning and Aschen in it!
Awesome collection. SO many games I've never heard of. Not a huge fan of handheld gaming, except the Switch. Just never got comfortable with the smaller screen. However, that's not discrediting any of the great games that have come out on the GB's and DS's. Cool video though :D
Fantastic collection! I took a gaming break pretty much through the peak of the DS until the later years of the 3DS so I haven’t heard of a lot of these. Excited to check them out and add to my ever growing backlog lol :)
Well you have some awesome games to look forward to! If theirs 1 game I could recommend its Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier. I try and let everyone know about that game, it's too good not to play at least once.
You have defo picked up some good games there, im way behind on picking up DS games as i have strictly been a non handheld gamer but im getting round to it. Having bought myself a DS, DS xl and a 3ds xl over past 18 months i intend on grabbing what i can before they disappear for good.
Awesome collection! I’ve recently started having my sights on ds rpgs but it is so expensive nowadays! Any rpg I can find under 25$ is a score for me. Recently I found Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure ds for 21$ and I can’t wait to play!
Thanks man, when it comes to handhelds the psp & DS is where its at, mostly because I'm a huge fan of Ps1 era RPGs and those systems kept that scene alive, I wish some of those DS & psp RPGs would come over to the Switch.
Do you have a video on the box protectors .. do you make them or just buy them ? ... I need to find a box protector for the Solatorobo box but wasn’t sure where to find Great collection video
Robot Taisen worth good money now. Have a cart copy but never got around to it. Have you tried Project X on the 3DS? I have around 400 DS games - i enjoy all kinds on it. I just played through FF3 and was really impressed with it... apart from the ending which is crazy brutal - no saves at the tower and about a 2hr grind to get back to final boss if you die. Old skool bs right there!! Chapters of the chosen may be my favourite RPG on the DS - i prefer it to heavenly bride- which natrually is great. Hope your still rocking your out with your DS and a solid collection right there. I like your point on carts being okay, obviously CIB is great but some of the prices are lunacy. TC 🎈🎈
great collection and video sir.. if you like Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier DS you may also like the two Project X Zone on the 3DS.. check Nanostray 1 and 2, Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ, Contra 4, Metal Slug 7 on the DS for the shootemup.. here are some great RPG games on the DS Sands of Destruction, Avalon Code, Black Sigil, Contact, Fossil Fighters, Infinite Space, Glory of Heracles, Kingdom Hearts 358/2, KH: Recoded, Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Summon Night Twin Age, Knights in the Nightmare, Megaman Battlenetwork 5, Orcs and Elves, Deep Labyrinth, Etrian Odyssey, Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow, Draglade, Custom Robo Arena and Tao's Adventure.. Visual novels try Trace Memory, The Ace Attorney Phoenix Wright Series, Hotel Dusk Room 215, Time Hollow and Nine Hours, Nine Persons and Nine Doors.. RTS, Turn based strategy and tower defense you may check Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Robocalypse, Lost Magic, Advance Wars, Rondo of Swords, Blue Dragon Plus, FF XII Revenant Wings, Front Mission, Heroes of Mana, Ninjatown and Lock's Quest.. for puzzles Layton Series, Zoo Keeper, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure and Ghost Trick.. here are some more DS games you may also like Touch The Dead, Touch Detective, Phantasy Star 0, Ninja Gaiden, Tokyo Beatdown, Soul Bubbles, Lunar Knights, Master of the Monster Lair, Monster Tale, Okamiden, Resident Evil: Deadly Silence, Rune Factory, SBK Snowboard Kids, Scurge Hive, Away; Shuffle Dungeon and Izuna the Unemployed Ninja.. and there you have it the amazing Nintendo DS LOL!!!
Thanks man, if theirs one game I could recommend its Super Robot Taisen OG Sega Endless Frontier. it's the best turn based/timing based RPG I've ever played, it's super combo heavy and has a battle system similar to Project X Zone but way better, the story is on point too!
Awesome video mate! Fuckn love rpg's. Do you have that robot taisen still for sale? Because I've been looking for it for awhile, and I can't find it at all...
Funny you should ask, I got a cart only robot taisen and a gamestop near me has one too, you can find a cart only copy decently priced online but completely is a different story, if I was to buy one now I'd go cart only. Anyway I got a copy if you need it.
Baltimore Retro Gaming for me it's fine if it's just cart only. I've been wanting the game for awhile, but I live in Belgium and it's nowhere to be found over here. I'd love to buy it from you.
right on man, ill even sell the copy with all my save files on it, the easiest way I think would be for me to create an ebay listing and just send you the link, it will be well under 4 oz in weight so ebay will probably be the cheapest option because they use their own shipping services within USPS. Can you message me on twitter or instagram ?
All my Japanese DS games run on my US new #DS XL, I think the region locking is on the carts. DSI, 3DS & New 3DS games will not work on my DS. I haven't tried any PAL games but my friends PAL copy of Solatorobo works on his 3DS. Maybe their are some weird exceptions.
your making 1 mistake though I have an pal 3ds not a new 3ds and I cna play us and japanese ds games just fine only exception is the 4 or so dsi exclusive games asside from that all ds games are playable on the original 3ds at least no mather the region
I just saw this comment walking out of the flea market, i found a copy on ninja gaiden trilogy on snes and ducktales on gb for $5! Good deals still exist 🤘
Then it comes to the ds I feel like the good games are really good, theirs maybe 20 ds games I really like and maybe 10 3ds games, dude if your into rpgs, super robot tiesen og saga endless frontier is one of my top 10 rpgs ever! Also radiant historia is up there

I think I have Astro boy for GBA, ds & Wii, the wii version is the only one that I wasn't really into but pretty cool for a wii game.

Cheers from a fellow Baltimore handheld gamer! Nice collection, love RPGs as well.

Thanks man, if you like the DS even a little bit then check out the PSP, if your a fan of JRPGs like I am then its a must own system.
Fantastic collection! I took a gaming break pretty much through the peak of the DS until the later years of the 3DS so I haven’t heard of a lot of these. Excited to check them out and add to my ever growing backlog lol :)

Cool collection man! How did you make those plastic covers I’m trying to do the same thing!
Any fans of orcs vs humans? theres a Ds game called robocalypse, it plays the same as orcs vs humans, tower defense on an open map style game
Your missing Full Metal Alchemist "Beat em UP" and DBZ Attack of the Sayans "RPG" both are really awesome games I think you'd love them.
Awesome Collection!
Import ds games do run on any region 3ds. I'm British and play us games on mine all the time. The 3ds games are region locked but original ds isn't :)

Chrono Trigger for 25 bucks hahaha. Well not anymore. Had to check how old this video is.
I just saw this comment walking out of the flea market, i found a copy on ninja gaiden trilogy on snes and ducktales on gb for $5! Good deals still exist 🤘
Luminous Arc 2 is a $60 dollars game by the way not a $20 dollar game.
He's talking about prices at local game shops...not online by scalpers
I agree with your assessment with "The World Ends With You." It's very well-done and creative, but I didn't like the art style or the controls.
Then it comes to the ds I feel like the good games are really good, theirs maybe 20 ds games I really like and maybe 10 3ds games, dude if your into rpgs, super robot tiesen og saga endless frontier is one of my top 10 rpgs ever! Also radiant historia is up there
@@TheDannylarson Radiant Historia is the best RPG I've played on the system (aside from Chrono Trigger). Agreed, it is fantastic.
