He learned Urdu from a Pakistani friend in Vietnam. He is not fluent in tapoori Hindi spoken in India.
the people in india speaks hindi in their dialects.....but a foreigner learns standard and good grammatic hindi....so both are correct in one way or another

Foreigners when learn hindi they learn "Sahatiyak bhasa" and we indians speak "aam bol chal ki bhasa".... when we speak dialect, it is very easy to get corrupt and so corrupted form passes to the next generation....Whatever you are saying i agree with you but i have my personal reservations also...

I used to visit lakshman dhaba quite often back in 2008. The dhaba is opposite to IIFT. I remember parking my car next to the dhaba and getting drunk with friends, then we ordered a lot of Chinese food. This food is more suitable for students.

There are 22 Languages in India but Hindi is our National Language as per the Indian Constitution.
Hindi is also spoken in prominent parts of the country.. that's why I've applauded him for his improvised conversational skills.

I used to Visit Laxman Dhaba in my college days. I still remember Ranbir Kapoor visiting this Dhaba at the time of promotion of movie Rockstar in 2011 post which it become more famous. Though we used to visit this place prior to that
I would say Chris is a good ambassador for tourism in India. His promotion is genuine.
He is a honorary foreign citizen of India.
The guy over charged, Rs160 plus 40 for the two paratha should cost Rs 200.00. Over charged by Rs 50.00.
In India one has to be on the toes to avoid over charging.
It’s alright if he’s overcharged. 1 dollar is around 90 rupees. So okayy.

When I visited punjab, some restaurants have different pricing for foreigners. If the cost is to be increased, I would not want to come to India for tourism. Prices should be fair.

I think only a few noticed but at the dhaba when the owner said there is no non veg, he lied. Go to 11:44 the menu states a whole section for chicken( boneless), might be that non veg was not available at that time of the day.
