Thanks. The site I got my kit from isn’t around anymore but just google xentry kits. I’ve seen the whole kit as low as 600 bucks with the laptop. I got the thinkpad kit but I hear getting a dell is better in terms of speed. If I had to do it all over I would spend more to get the tablet version.
hi I appreciate ur mansion about the xentry star diagnostic software how I can get the whole thing if it's included viademo encoding ectopic do u advice me to buy oem mb star xentry scanner thnx
Hello mate, thanks for sharing, I'm interested on coding my e class but have no idea how to do it or even what xentry program or version I should get, can you give me a help here? Thanks
Hello, on my slk r171 I have the 2 electric seats that no longer work since the battery was empty. Can Xentry do something, like resetting the seat module? Thanks
I don’t thinks it’s a simple click off solution but then again I haven’t tried it. Why would you want to? Defective module? You can code things out so I guess yes it’s possible.
It has its own converter on the obd2 cable. If you look at the Xentry tools it shows the multiplex which converts it to rg45 then goes into the laptop as a network.
@@sandroribeiro3214 no not that I’m aware of. I’ve seen some people use a babble buster but I think that’s overkill as I have the right tool. Here’s a link so you can see what’s in the kit and the parts list. www.mbstartool.com/wholesale/mb-sd-c4-plus-lenovo-t440p-laptop-xentry-software.html
You need a multiplex connector. You’re probably better off just buying the computer and adapters in a package for about 6-700 bucks and be done with it.
I' have Xentry on my tough ook,but I don't have a cable connector..I have a 2014 GL350 BLUETEC..Can you tell me what cable I would need to connect to mt Bluetecs OBD2 Connector?
They typically come in a kit when you get xentry. It goes from rj45 into their box then converts to obd2. I haven’t seen them for sale alone for a while now. However Xentry does do a wireless setup and you can use any wireless obd2 connector. I’ll look into it for you and get back to you with more information.
Hey great video! Is there any way you can lead me in the right direction to purchase one of these? Thanks!

@@JustinDeFillippo Ok, i thought to possible if i have access key Mercedes for coding ?
Can you buy this without the laptop?
Just the cable and module.
Yeah but I’m sure you’ll need the xentry program.

My Xentry diagnostic laptop is in Japaneses is a way to change the laptop to 100% English?
Is the actual keyboard in English? Or is it just xentry?
Thanks for the usefull video. Thats a normal OBD2 cable? or it needs a specific protocol?

Ciao scusa per fare funzionare openport 2.0 su mercedes w211 serve un adattatore kline... Perché non va
When you buy the kit it comes with all the various adapters and harness ties. So this works on pre obd port cars.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. If possible can you show us how to do offline coding, programming or ECU renew. thanks. subscribing right now
Sure I’ll do a video on the basics however Mercedes might get mad if I show too much lol
Hello, can you setup for my xentry won't connect to my w203,but when w202,210 can connect, can you setup thru the teamview

How to get obd cable for xentry
It has to go through the xentry multiplex so you need multiplex to obd. If you need a link let me know.
How much did you payed for all the setup?
About 650. You can search MBtools that’s who I bought it through.
@@JustinDeFillippo thanks 😁
Blah-blah-blah ya-ya-ya.
