I kinda wanna see how this would perform as an editing computer. Monitor screen up top, timeline on the bottom. When they make one of these powerful enough to do that, I’ll be sold.
Ok so i love the usability but I have been using it for 6 months. The ram of 16 is too low for opening multiple tabs etc it slows down I am..waiting for next model with 32 gb ram
Finally, a laptop for those of us who open 47 tabs and still think, 'I could use another screen!' This dual-screen setup looks like a productivity dream (or a procrastination enabler, let's be real).
watching this on my yogabook 9i 13", I've had it for around a year and i love it, i would never go back to a "classic" laptop ever, battery life is amazing and the formfactor is so great. 14" 120hz is great too. it is my first 13", but it is way better than 15". 14" might be a good size too. keyboard backlight is a nice upgrade too
I think you could like asus zenbook duo more. Only thing the yogabook can do better (in my opinion) is that you have a 360° hinge instead of 190°, i own the i9 versionand love it. And the keyboard is extremly good and you get a real trackpad even if using dual screen and have build in kickstand
@@Nicolas_dG had a hp envy x360 15 before had also 360° i miss this also from time to time. Zenbook duo cost $2500 wasn't yogabook i9 $3500?
I agree. I had a tablet made by that company, and it made it just pass warranty. Fully died, so I took it to a repair shop that's no longer in business, and they told me it's not even worth fixing that they are complete junk. My partner's Samsung that I bought her for a Christmas gift is still going strong, and I purchased it at the same time.
If the keyboard has a physical trackpad and has a built-in kickstand, it would be perfect. That would be like the Zenbook Duo. However, it can't convert 360°.
Right, each is compromised in one way or another ... Yoga 9i stops at the Intel 255H, while the Zenbook 14 Duo gets up to the 285H, Yoga 9i has 360 hinge, Duo does not, Duo has better keyboard and trackpad solution. If the Duo had a 360 hinge, or the Yoga got the 285H, my decision would be a lot easier.
They all just make it so complicated.. we already have a tablet.. we can use that tablet as a secondary screen.. i understand a build in keyboard can also be unreliable over time but we can still mix it with the bluetooth ones too..
I really like my yoga book 13. There are a few quirks with it and I REALLY wish the keyboard was backlit. Not sure if I would pay to upgrade but interested to see the next gen one. Just saw in another video that the new keyboard is backlit which makes upgrading a little more compelling. I pair mine with a flipngo 13 pro dual screen portable monitor and have a really sweet mobile workstation with amazing screen real estate
Does this guy ever respond to criticism, or engage with fans, or do anything else other than paid ads or buying nonsense from China and acting shocked every time
why would ANYONE waste money on a dual screen to cover half of it and use the other half as a trackpad and risk damaging the bottom screen in the process.
@@user-zh4cu5jb1h no it doesnt, i've had this laptop for a year and bottom screen does just fine, no scratch to see. (although i only put the keyboard on the bottom display ~10% of the time) but i do use the stylus a lot (>50% of the time) and still no scratches
It allows you to use it as a traditional laptop (which it when it's only sitting on my lap). When I have a table to use its 90%of the time in dual screen mode
Lenovo is pitiful. Their response to anything is, send it in for repairs. I got a new $4K Legion and a plastic piece the keys click into broke. Just needed a new one sent. Probably costs them a penny, if that. They wanted me to send the whole laptop in. Impossible as I need it for work. Had to get the part from Croatia. Lenovo is awful.
i’m guessing you can’t release any video editing or performance specs yet, but have you tested premier or any editing software yet? if so, could you possibly say if its on par or even slightly ahead or behind the m1 macbook pro?
An iPad Pro with 1tb of storage costs the same as this device. I am buying this as my alternative to a $2000 iPad. It can fold back to essentially a tablet and then unfold into a dual screen laptop. It seems like a good deal to me. The previous unit had a few stability issues. Did you experience anything like that?
Asus had the dualscreen setup for years first in the trackpad, then they had done the ultra wide screen and at the same time last year both asus and lenovo unveiled the dualscreen set up with top and bottom screen beeing the same but asus did it better still better then this new version

You may be right but at least the yoga is capable of tablet mode by lying flat on the table whereas the asus product cannot do that. And aesthetically the yoga is so much more advanced cause the zen with its bulkiness looks like it was designed in 2005.
