    Of course none of the true early blues players would understand any of this. One thing you can’t theorize or fake is SOUL!

      Of course. The 3 chord thing came from church mixed with field song and spirituals. I recommend listening to Alan Lomax's recordings for authentic blues.

      @@rickysguitar I have them all, though there’s authenticity in Buddy Guy still! and we had all those guys John Lee hooker, John Hurt… so many.
