We used to live near that street. That was around 20 years ago. I remembered it as a really a busy street with all visitors coming from all over the places every night during Christmas period. There’s a lot of street food and merchandise to buy. The lady in yellow (5:01) started it all and became popular with the masses due to media coverage. It looks like it is not that busy anymore. You know when I was a kid I used to carol too just like the kids in the video. Our musical intruments like tamborine were just made of wires and flattened aluminum bottle caps. While our drums were just made of big cans, plastic, and rubber bands. I remember the times that some residents were just just giving us demonetized coins. Haha! I really missed those moments and my childhood friends. ❤🎅
I remember in my childhood all over the cities and my neighbors all are decorating theirs house with Christmas Lights. ONLY FEW Decorate but the Spirit of Christmas never gone in every home of the Filipino Family.

I guess this is one of the very reason why you guys love to live in the Philippines, I am pretty sure some of these children will not get a single present on Christmas day, but will still managed to put a smile on their faces and celebrate Christmas with what they have, and love in their hearts. This is what Christmas is all about in the Philippines. My family and I had been to Austria last year specifically in Vienna - wonderful city, even the cemetery is a tourist destination where the great Beethoven, Strauss among others are buried, then we went to Salzburg - where the “Sound of Music” all started, then off we go to Hallstatt - this place is a piece of heaven, gorgeous, gorgeous place. Thanks for sharing your videos.
Thats why Christmas here in Philippines is one of the best experience because of the noisy kids caroling and dancing, all the Christmas parties and reunions, going to church, all the gift giving, the decorations and foods. Christmas in general is truly wonderful. But here in Philippines is something truly extra especial. Thank you mike and nelly!! Hugs and good job to u both!!! 😘
