GRANDEUR WORLD , We are one in the bond of love. We're big family even we are away from the Philippines, we still feel the fun and togetherness. Thank you Lord for your gift of contentment which make our country happy & joyful despite of difficulties of life due to poverty.
I suggest you take your motorbike on a late afternoon to the Bonifacio Shrine which is located next to the Manila City Hall, where you will see a 45 foot Christmas Tree filled with lights and 'parols', the park is filled with 'Capiz' lighting looking like thousands of stars among the trees. Next door is Mehan Garden, again with the palm trees filled with 'rope'lighting. Once the sun go down, head on over towards Binondo where you will cross over Pasig River using the nearly 90% complete renovated JONES BRIDGE. A couple of unique things you'll see is the newly installed Spectacular European style street lamps, and the vertical garden on the center median. Once you cross over, I suggest you guys have dinner at the 1919 Cafe at Escolta. I promise, you will say "I'm in a Time Machine, and I've travelled to the early 30's in Europe'!

I met you here the first time in Ayala triangle, I knew this vlog is coming up for the Christmas season. So glad to see that you guys enjoyed this immensely ☝️✌🏻🤟🙏❤😍🤗🥰🤩🎅
Mike and Nelly, i am glad you discovered this. Ayala Corporation (owned by the Zobel de Ayala family - a Spanish, German and Filipino family - and yes, Ayala Ave is named after them) is the one that spearheaded this years ago. It was such a hit that they kept on doing this every year. The best thing about it - ITS FREE!!! Another thing, that show on the ceiling of the arch of the Ayala Triangle bldg, that is new. I havent seen that before, just now on your channel. Wow, i miss the Philippines and its "warm" Christmas. I am here in a cold country!!!
@@anthonyramos3583 yeah, my first Christmas, we were out of town with some friends and more than half the restaurants were closed and there were few people out. Compare to the Philippines where you see kids everywhere

The shots were like in the movies. So amazing. Thank you mike and nelly for bringing not only quality content but also quality editing and cinematography. 👍👍👍👍
Best time of the year in the Philippines! People of other countries find it absurd and weird that Filipinos celebrate Christmas holidays from September to February... that’s because its always a grandeur display...and the amount of effort and preparation put in decorating deserves such a long time for everybody to appreciate and fall in awe.
Amazing missed pinas being OFW somewhere other country missing your own native land as simple joy mean specially Christmas season the only families can gather as considered endless joyful behind different situations in our life as Filipinos,God bless you guys.Only in the Philippines amazing experience right.🙏🏼🙏🏼😍

And the best part of it all is that it's FREE. Wow Makati is really giving it back with a bang! I hope the rest of the cities in the Philippines follow this example.
Wow! They have upgraded the light show the last time I've seen it. There's another light show located near Manila. It's the Nuvali Field of Lights that can be found in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. One of a very old Christmas tradition in the Philippines is attemding the Simbang Gabi (Night Mass). Afterwards, we buy and eat out traditional Christmas delicacy which are the bibingka (a type of rice cake with salted egg on top) and puto bumbong (Purple dessert made of glutinuos rice flour) which are eaten with grated coconut and a brush of margarine on top. Try also the Pampanga's legendary Christmas Lantern Festival. You'll surely be amazed! Have a Happy Christmas!
Fast forward, if you're here in Manila come New Year's time, you need to check out the many firework shows around the metro! There are so many but the one in the MOA area truly stands out!
