Adrien Brody, Ralph Fiennes, Colman Domingo, Timothée Chalamet & Sebastian Stan should all be nominated. Honestly if any of those actors win I would be pleased. All wonderful actors but I’m rooting for Adrien Brody for The Brutalist.
I love Mescal, he’s a great actor, but I don’t see how they can say he’s close to getting in for Gladiator II. I thought he was great in it and Lead Actor isn’t as competitive as Actress, but I don’t see him ahead of Craig, Eisenberg, Stan. Heck, I think I’d say Glen Powell for Hit Man might be stronger, but who knows. I agree the other 4 nominees feel pretty certain as of now.
