griffiths gnats, parachute adams my go to dries too. have the cross current pack because magnetic lol but can see this being a great pack for most people too. some days I use my orvis sling but mostly rock the fishpond chest pack
Forgot to mention that it also integrates with all of the fishpond backpacks. I use a ridgeline backpack for when I need to pack food and jacket or whatever else.
Hello Stringtwister7654. MaxCatch is an interesting brand. If you look into them further you will see they are the face company for fly products produced by a company called Leichi China. They are a fishing goods manufacturer in China. They take the hard work Fishpond puts into designing products and remove the logos and over produce out the back door of the factory. This allows them to sell directly to US consumers at huge discounts. If this trend continues there would be no need for US retailers like ourselves or the content we try to provide. It could also end up putting Fishpond out of business leaving Maxcatch having to come up with designs on their own. Not sure you would be as thrilled about the product if they had to guess what you wanted from it. Fishpond, a Colorado company, knows the demands of the equipment they build and are innovative in their designs. Maxcatch is simply piggybacking and profiting off of Fishpond's ingenuity.
@@AvidMax why doesn't fishpond have its products made here in the USA instead of a sweat shop in China? I really doubt fishpond designs anything, the same pack is for sale at Walmart under the Allen brand. I'd say fishpond just has there logo put on a Chinese design pack and then cry's when we don't pay them double the price for the same china made pack. Is there stuff was made in the USA I'd be proud to buy it, even pay more
I encourage you to get to know the brand better. Thy do not work with sweat shops. They are a certified B corp. Those two things do not align. Allen is a different story that I will not get into. Maybe check out Alibaba some time. It might add context to the situation. None the less, we appreciate you watching this review!
