Shop City Beauty HERE: bit.ly/429bGof and remember to use my code MAKEUPBYCHERYL to save 15% sitewide! Update: I don’t think the glow recipe primer does much for my skin in terms of pores. Also, the YSL liner I didn’t find special. Not overly long wearing. I was expecting more from both products.
I have been waiting to see your demo of the Watermelon bliss!! Totally ordering it now. I have 3 other of the shades on their way. I was afraid it would be like CT new universal red or DMB Primadonna. Which Primadonna was too pigmented and it was tricky to figure out how much without over doing it. So thank you for using it! It looks beautiful on you!
Light medium? That colour definitely runs deep. Thanks for the heads up, I like a skin tint but I don't think I'll be picking that one up. Love the final look 🤍
My fave eye cream ever is patented and it’s available at Sephora Canada 🇨🇦 😊 The Algenist one that is called “The triple renewal eye balm” So good and it never irritates my eyes which are sensitive to eye creams! Highly recommend it! Love the vids beautiful 💜
You HAVE to try the Skinfix Barrier+ 360 eye cream. It's one of the few eye creams that is actually ophthalmologist approved to go on your eyelids and it has SAVED my chronically flakey eyelids. Seriously... the BEST
Love how your genuine excitement for beauty radiates through the screen. I wanna try the city beauty oil. I’ve been interested into a lip oil that stays. I ❤ the pillow balm at night for the past year though!!
I love the the tool kit showing the brushes! I would recommend Tatcha The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream for your eyes. The PTR firming primer works best for me on cleansed skin and no moisturizer. I found it would pill with my normal face products. So it will be a special event primer for me.
Of all the pore primers ive ever tried...Hudas is still my all time favorite. I wanted to try the glow recipe but literally none of their products do anything for me and i swear ive tried just about every other product. So im definitely weary about picking anything up from them. Which wouldnt be a problem but the nearest Sephora is over an hour away. 😅 So which do you prefer??? Huda or Glow recipe? ❤
I use the Glow Recipe as a serum as that is how it’s marketed. So moisturizer and primer on top and it’s nice! I have oily skin and a salicylic serum is meant more for oil control than pore smoothing so that’s what I use it for and I appreciate it
@@MakeupByCheryl maybe it’s the esthetician in me but I never judge a product, especially a skincare product after one use 🤷🏻♀️🙂 it’ll be something you notice over time with consistent use. I tell all my clients it’s like going to the gym. You won’t see results after one visit or even a week but give it 4,6, even 8 weeks and then you’ll see change. Primers are a different game. Those should show results immediately prior to makeup application 😊
@@MsAngelcakes88 I was simply testing the “pore smoothing” claim. Not the serum skincare claim. I never do first impression for that. Glow Recipe said this can be used for pore smoothing prior to foundation. I didn’t notice it myself, but I will keep testing! 💕 It’s being marketed as a skincare-primer hybrid and they did say you can use it after moisturizer to blur the skin prior to foundation. It’s on their Instagram 🥰
@@MakeupByCheryl oh goodness I’m sorry I misunderstood your question. I definitely didn’t see it on my pores either if that’s what they’re claiming! I have large pores/oily skin for reference 😊
Avene eye cream! The best for sensitive flaky raw skin. Also love this eye look on you…I was waiting for this tutorial! I will have to try and recreate this ❤I usually use warm pinks and oranges to my my greeny hazel eyes pop🥰
I love that you try so much new makeup…I’m always so curious about the launches and you post reviews and first impressions so quick! I don’t buy too much makeup but if you love it typically I feel the same way 💛
What a beautiful transition when you put the Make Up Forever Powder Foundation over the Tarte Skin Tint! I have so many things in my Sephora cart. The Haus Lab blush is one. I'm counting down the days til the end of Lent!!! 😂 I hope the things I want are still there but I think the next Rouge Sale might happen before I can shop 😩
Not high end but Cetaphil Deep Hydration refreshing eye serum is my go to eye cream. I get super dry lids and under eyes and it works amazing for daytime under my makeup and at night
Skinfix has a new eyecream out that has good ingredients peptides ceramides and stuff in it I'm super intrigued thinking of trying it I love me some skincare and especially eyecreams I'm using the Biosionse squalene eye cream right now and it's really nice I also use the Benton fermentation eye cream the Klairs fudemental eye butter it's not like butter it's actually lighter then the others those have been the ones I have been using for awhile but I also love the algenist eye balm and the cosrx snail peptide eye cream . Those are all ranges of prices from like 18- 60$ . Great first impressions. I actually am thinking about the warm mattes looking at it on you and I'm not a warmed toned girl really she should do a neutral version too.
My favorite eye cream is the Belif moisturizing and forming eye cream. I have really dry skin and this is the only cream that I saw a difference. It is more like a balm. I was waiting for your review on the glow recipe primer. I suspected it was the same as the dew drops and more like a skincare product. Quite disappointed in their description of it. We fell for the marketing again 😉

City lips must be the new Morphe , every influencer is now sponsored by them now
Literally EVERYONE with a beauty channel is doing the same sponsorship. Lol.
😂
@@mistytells Exactly!
I’m skipping past the sponsored parts. I’m annoyed by the saturation. They might be great but I will deliberately not order.

It’s funny you mention that one… it was the one I had my eye on! Buying this during the Sephora Sale! Thank you for letting me know 💕🥰
The Makeup Forever powder for the win. It evened and blurred.
It truly saved the day! Lol
If it’s really dry try Shiseidos eye cream. It’s pricey but works. I’m 45 and it’s the only thing that keeps my eyes hydrated. Love the eyes
