I love that the Fifteenth Doctor's theme plays immediately after The Doctor Forever, with Fourteen and Donna in his presence. Basically passing the torch from one incarnation to the next. Oh, Murray Gold, you're a genius!
@@OswinPondAgreed. Didn't mind The Doctor's Theme being absent, but would've been nice if they'd included a variant, like how they used several in The Star Beast, since I associate it with *all* incarnations. :)
You can’t deny this is hands down the best Doctor theme since Matt Smith’s. It’s so fucking good. Everything just keeps building up and getting more epic. Love the marching band aspect of it too.
While a lot of the different themes for different Doctors felt more moody, this Doctor’s theme feels upbeat, charismatic, and hopeful. Listening to this, I can literally imagine 15 holding Ruby’s hand as they take on the horrors and evil the universe has to offer with a massive, indelible smile on his face.
Upon hearing this, upon seeing this doctor. All it took was a few lines, a smile, a wink and then I knew it. The 15th doctor has arrived. We’re in for a treat. Doctor who is alive as ever and this episode has showed it. I’m in awe!!! And hell yeah, as one might say….. The Doctor is in!
It just goes to show that the performances and the stories aren't the only things that make Doctor Who awesome but the music too. Welcome back, Murray Gold.
I'm so stoked for 15!!! The upbeat wacky music, the kind gestures toward 14, the hugs and kisses, and changing the tardis colors from cold blue to warm orange just shows how we're really going to have a warm and wholesome doctor this time round and i cant wait to see where it goes
Yes, the doctor so deserves this healing moment. To reflect and remember. To always remember but to be able to move on. Ncuti has already delivered such a warm vibe and can't wait to see it. 2 weeks can not come any quicker.
Basically his way to keep David for crossovers perhaps. David’s doctors always has a way of living on somehow. Metacrisis Doctor and Bigeneration Doctor…
I can't decide either, just because we still don't actually know how it works. The special implied in a couple throwaway lines that 15 is from 14's future, which is a great way of doing the therapy/retirement bit (though it does raise questions about the tardis). But if it's just like the metacrisis and there are just 2 doctors now, forever? Awful.

I wasnt sure how I felt about this theme when I first heard it, the marching energy. Seeing it in the episode, after finally meeting the 15th Doctor and seeing the torch being passed on, it felt perfect.
As well as the "happy regeneration" they were going for, I was very pleased indeed to get a fair share of screen time for the new Doctor instead of the usual 3-7 seconds they're given to keep a cliffhangar.
Fifteenth’s theme is amazing, and will be even MORE amazing when we keep hearing it through the upcoming era and eventually, clean on a soundtrack release! 😍

Honestly I have mixed feelings about RTD returning and Tennant taking the spotlight for the 60th anniversary but good God am I glad to have the legend Maury Gold back.
One thing I'm confused about regarding the bi-generation: Does this mean there are now two entirely separate Doctors running around (and are they both capable of regenerating, or is only Fifteen capable of doing so?), or is it more like a time loop where Fourteen eventually regenerates properly into Fifteen, then gets sent back in time to the moment of the Bi-generation?
They are both the Doctor. The regeneration healed the 14th Doctor but the next Doctor separated from the original Doctor's body. Although they are somehow connected too. 15 said he is calm and mentally refreshed because of the time 14 will spend with the Nobles resting. So it is implied 14 will become 15 someday or maybe he will choose his own path (that could explain The Curator incarnations).

The 17th Doctor has arrived. Don't forget, John Hurt was the canon 9th Doctor (called the Doctor by the others & even called himself the Doctor twice), which now makes Christopher Eccleston the 10th Doctor, David Tennant the 11th & 12th Doctor's (regenerated but kept the same face), Matt Smith the 13th Doctor (confirmed this to Clara + he's now also Doctor 2.1*), Peter Capaldi the 14th (2.2) Doctor, Jodie Whittaker the 15th (2.3) Doctor, David Tennant the 15th (2.4) Doctor, and makes Ncuti Gatwa the 17th (2.5) Doctor. * the first regeneration of the new cycle was from Smith to Capaldi, leaving 12 incarnations to go (Smith is original cycles 13th Doctor and the new cycles 1st Doctor).
But Chibnall's era changed everything about the limit of regenerations as he did that the Doctor is the first time lord and not a random time lord, the Doctor actually don't have a limit of regenerations and it's probably what allowed him to bi-regenerate and etc Though some details made by Chibnall are stupid and it's sad that Jodie Whittaker played the Doctor in these conditions

I’m thinking the Curator. After all, the Curator is highly implied, if not outright confirmed, to be a future incarnation of the Doctor, who decided to retire from adventuring and take on the job as curator of the museum where “Gallifrey Falls No More” was kept.
Whatever RTD and the BBC had to pay Murray Gold to come back... IT WASN'T ENOUGH!! I think Ncuti is going to bring back some of the whimsy, childlike enthusiasm and off-beat humor of Matt Smith.

Tf is this goofy ass tune? Sounds like remixed farts as a bass line.
If I come back to Doctor Who for anything now, it’s either to listen to the new sound track, or see the new props (purposefully pretending the sonic television remote doesn’t exist) and sets they make with Disney money. Really don’t feel like I’m on board for the writing or acting anymore.
Imagine if the Sixteenth Doctor is one of the Spice Girls. Mel B shoukd do it
