I want to know how shallow it can hole shot. I wish I had looked at these when I got my boat. I only go offshore when it’s super flat. If a panga can get up in somewhat skinny water, this would be the ultimate boat to own in my area and I’d consider selling my current boat to buy one. He keeps mentioning a narrow beam. I wonder how narrow it is
i own a yamaha panga boat , in japan its called yamaha bay fisher 23 or 25 google it , anyway its draft to hull is 0.5 foot or 6 inches , rigged with 150 yamaha i get max speed around 40 miles , i installed a hydraulic jack plate on it and the skiff guys hate me because i can get to their spots lol , and i can go offshore no problem just lower your speed when it is rough , pangas are for everything but not for speed , my friend got a 27 yamah panga with a 300 yamaha max speed was 56 miles
$76,000 for the Captiva. I had Panga Marine on my list for my next boat, but with their increase in pricing and removing of models, I am out. That's just crazy. They do make a really beautiful boat though.
Those engines look so big compared to the boat. They are nice fishing boats there. When I lived in South America most of theirs were pretty hollow and they all used a 70 hp. Yamaha. I think the mechanics for anything else was too far from the fishing villages and almost every local mechanic grew up on that Yamaha.
They’re overkill. They do way better with smaller engines. They’re building these up to those price points . Easy pass. For that price buy a better boat. These guys are full of it
Big NT, interested in the name the boat you are referring to? Heaps of boats in Australia are designed for local conditions, the Pangas look great agreed and $122,000 in AUD look like they'd weigh a ton. Bust your arse trying to launch that on your own.

You know that you can bring one from Mexico.
Just today I talked to them the price of a 22-foot panga is at $7,500 and you can customize it with $3,000 more
Not asking the real question. Does a panga hull help when a Captain fucks up and stuffs the bow.

Thats a japanese creation..
I wouldn’t consider those panga design boats they are to fancy and don’t follow that original panga design

When I went to Cancun with my wife all I saw were Panga style boats
The design is called a Dory and it’s been around since the early 1900’s
"Dory" style boats have been around since ancient greece, but they were sail/row boats.
I JUST BOUGHT ONE

I like Panga boats. But, 76k for that boat is ridiculous! Why are they going out of business?? lol

60 hp is pretty enough for that boat, Americans and their overpowered boats
The Panga hull is way better for bar crossing than those overrated, short, fat, ugly Australian designs. Also, less power; less fuel use.
