On this 'Strip Panel Naked', I take a look at Darwyn Cooke's work on the epic The New Frontier, for DC Comics. Which took a look at the Golden Age leading into Silver Age of superheroes. But Cooke did a specific technique on this book, in keeping it all primarily in a three panel grid format.
I delve into why that works as well as it does using a few examples from the first issue in the series.
