- This is a DIY swingarm extensions installation preparing my carbon fiber bmw s1000rr racing texas mile motorcycle racing preparation with swing arm extensions installation. Texas mile racing a full carbon fiber bmw s1000rr is a bit different than motorcycle drag racing. This is how to stretch a motorcycle with swingarm extensions on drag bikes or similar. stretching a motorcycle for a long motorcycle with a long wheelbase motorcycle is to prevent wheelies off the launch. custom bike stretching a bike like this makes a huge improvement in keeping the front wheel down.

So I have a question, I bought an s1k that already had this extension kit already on it and I’m wanting to take it off. If I take it off will I need any OEM parts to make it stock or is it just take it off and make it stock?
first note i'll say is i had a challenge finding that kit, so you can probably sell that kit if you don't plan to use it to someone. Second, if going back to stock, the only thing i can think that you'd need would be the shorter chain. If they put a longer rear brake line on it, you might still be able to use it without having to put a stock line on.
Any chances you’d want to sell the extensions ?? Been looking for them all over the place but can’t find them anywhere for the older models. Need some that fit a 2011
