I lowered my 2022 S1000RR two inches and didn’t cut anything. I took a heat gun and heated the plastic and pushed it up with the round part of a ratchet enough so it cleared the shock. Very easy to do and does not involve cutting the plastic where there is a hole there.

So what your saying is my 380 lb butt can't be fast? :-( I see this first hand. When a stock Streetfighter with a 180 lb rider is dead even and then kind of pulling me on my 230 hp Z H2. I just sleep at night knowing my BIKE is way faster just not with me on it. LOL!
I am 290lbs and have a ZH2 yes we big guys will never be as fast as a lighter guy but you have to admit the Zh2 moves our lard asses around pretty well!
Stock wheelbase 05 ZX-10R how much do y’all recommend Lowering the front. It’s stock height right now. But I do have lowering links on the rear. But I put it back to stock height because who ever lowered it didn’t lower the front any. For example if I lower the rear let’s say an inch. Should I lower the front and inch as well or half of inch? I see a lot of people lower the from 1/8th of an inch why is that?
I went to do this with my 2024 s1000rr and gs 1911 and i found the 1 thru 4 something and 1 thru 4 display speed and it lost me haha any videos with doing this process thru gs1911
so if i’m stage 1 bren tune, the bimmer utility coding is not needed? or is it still needed to get over 200 mph? too i’ve seen is 192, not sure if that is the cut off or if that’s really how fast it’s hitting
Why didn't you show us any of the 60-150 runs!? Also why dont you mess with front sproket? why did you go with a 525 chain over a 520? I had raced some zx10 this weekend, and we did 55 pulls in 1st and 2nd. In first i just wheelie way to much, and he kept getting a good 2 bikes on me. When we took off in 2nd, I pulled out and won every time bit it was close and I dont like close. I replaced all the plastic with carbonfiber, just ordered core moto wheels with ceramic bearings, ordered a 44t rear stock front 520 chain and sproket. I will order a few different sizes front and rear. Its tuned arrow headers/mid with stock akrapovic muffler, bt velocity stacks, iat relocation, custom flapper delete. I replaced every visible bolt witj titanium ones feom probolt and just ordered a set of straps. Also going to come up with a way to plug the rear brake line so i can remove the rear disc and caliper and one front disc/caliper for roll race days only. Myabe i should make some vods of this
Do you really have to change the chain for the 44t rear sprocket I still the original m chain on my bike 23 S1k Or can I get away with just swapping the rear sprocket and pushing the wheel back as far as I can
@@LoyaltyOfBrotherhood you can just swap the sprocket but keep in mind we used a new chain to push the back tire to the end of the swing arm, which helps the bike not wheelie. All these little things come together to help
I had the 2" kit, but put the 1" kit on after a couple of months. The 2" kit is great for roll racing, but completely changed the dynamics with regards to lean angles.
Maximum lean angle will be reduced slightly and the bike will be a little less flickable, but only noticeable if you’re a track guy. If you drop the forks properly (our DIY) video, you’ll be surprised how well the bike feels after lowering.
I should also mention that I have the BT strap kit along with the 1" lowering link. It's honestly the best of both worlds. Strap it down for roll racing, release it for all of your other riding. You also need to still set your wheelie control in your Race Pro menu. That will help tremendously.
Yeah. I don't understand that either. Unless he started from 1st gear with the 42. It should be slower because it starts from lower rpm. Unless that gearing eliminates the 2-3 shift from 60-130
@@brandonhollis84stock you have to babysit the throttle at a 5k rpm hit. Tire goes straight in the air. Geared longer you just give it 100% throttle and no need to play with the throttle. That along with the slight stretch works wonders
Don’t request a raised RPM limiter and there’s no reason to void. We’re making a video with a dealer now and asking them questions directly about voids and denials. Stay tuned.

Just got my sprocket and chain, going to try this with my FBO 23’ with e85 tune and report back!

Great content. It'd be interesting to see if a taller 200/60 tire would allow for an extra 1-2 mph improvement to the top speed.
