Also yeah it’s all about having an Abundance mindset in my opinion and not being stingy. There’s more than enough of everything for everyone and the scarcity mindset that we have all been brainwashed at some point and level throughout our lives into believing is complete bs I’m glad you touched on that too. At the end of the day the only people who are successful in anything have to be truly passionate about it most people will watch this and not start a business around it. Even if you shared your suppliers I bet that 99% of people wouldn’t do anything with that information only that 1% who are truly passionate. Overall it’s one of the best feelings to find and do something that drives you every day which for me and my gf is our crystal business
I agree 😊 some weeks I am so tired from working a 9-5pm job but crystals keep me going and motivated to upload weekly and keep at it.

I would recommend Instagram. Alot of folks start destahing on there and then turn it into a business 😊

Great video! Thanks so much for sharing your tips! What is your opinion on the live Instagram sales from China? I’ve been following few of them and their crystals look absolutely real 🤔
Hey 😊 you have to be careful with crystals from China because they fake alot. Thats the reason why they look really real is because they are faked so good. More expensive and rare crystals from China like citrine, malachite, larimar are most likely fakes. They will tell you they are really but that's because they are trying to sell it to you. You're better off finding suppliers directly from the country these crystals are mined. Alot of fluorite is from China so that is most likely real. Its just a matter of doing your research and knowing what crystals are from where 😊

How do you list your crystals on Etsy? I know they have a few options of handmade, or vintage etc.
I put them under hole decor and then rocks & geodes 😊

Do you know where I can find the tiny stickers used to price the crystals ? I can’t seem to find the correct size anywhere
You can just Google price stickers and alot of options should pop up. I use a staples brand that come in a 100 pack its the small white ones. But again just browse around and see what would work best for you 😊
I would recommend Avery removable stickers on Amazon. I love them, they come off cleanly and sting in place when you need them to. Saves me so much time!! Good luck!
I have invested a lot into stock and been running my business since August now, but I’m barely making profit yet. How do I keep updating my inventory without much profit? 😩
Hi Paige, so sorry to hear. The crystal market is very saturated unfortunately. There are alot of sellers selling at all different price points and new shops always popping up. I would recommend maybe offering set deals or discounts on the crystals you have in stock before spending more on new inventory. If you have the money and want to buy new items you can but try everything you can to sell the old first if you are able to. Wishing you all the best 🙏

Hi love!! I’m planning to start my own business and would love your opinion on this. I’m in search of future potential wholesalers and came across a page that had almost too good to be true prices during their live show. They had people buying, have 1,800+ likes on their page, but there’s not many reviews and I have yet to see people really talk about them. I haven’t seen anything bad, but literally haven’t seen much of anything. (their shop is called Global Crystal Castle on facebook!) I’m afraid of making an order and seeing they are fake, or worse- not being able to identify if they are or are not. Do you have an idea as to what I should do??? I requested to get into that all about rocks page to ask the same question but I figured i’d reach out to you first because I watched your video all the way through and would value your opinion highly
Hi Jade, so exciting! I actually haven't heard of them but that's because there are so many wholesalers on FB. I would recommend making a small first purchase. Maybe $150 or so. If they ship and you have no issues then you can order more going forward. Make sure they use paypal and don't have you send the money by friends and family. If anything and you don't receive the package you can file a claim with PayPal and get your money back. If you feel in your gut something is off then maybe it's good to pass on them and find someone else. Hope this helps 🙏

Where to you get your crystals from?
I get them from all over. Took me about a year and there are about 10 suppliers that I work with. As mentioned in the video alot of wholesalers on Instagram and Facebook to work with 😊 its a matter of what your looking for and price points.

How much does a start up shop cost initially?
It depends. I started by destashing so it cost me just shipping supplies which you can buy in bulk. Some folks buy small about 3-5 of the same materials and see how things sell and just buy more when what they initially buy sells. Some folks take out business loans for a few thousand and buy alot of inventory at the start and buy once they sell ot all. It just depends on how you want to start and where you feel comfortable. I personally didn't have thousands of dollars for inventory and didn't want to take a loan out. I started small and grew and bought more as sales increased 😊

How did you go about getting a license/tax id to buy wholesale? Was it a difficult or confusing process? Started an IG page, but I’ve been trying to expand into buying wholesale which I would need a tax ID for and I’m so lost 😭
You don't need a wholesale ID to buy from all wholesalers. You can find alot of suppliers on Instagram and FB crystal groups like all about the rocks and they don't require a wholesale ID. Mostly gem show suppliers will ask but not online suppliers. I believe you would be able to get one online if you look it up for your state 😊 hope that helps.
