Absolutely loved all of your Tokyo Vlogs. Loved how you both went to popular spots in Tokyo but went to places where it seemed off the beaten path. The vibes were immaculate 🤌🏾
My daughter and I are planning to go to Japan this summer for celebrating her finishing her middle school. Will definitely to go to Yanakaginza, thank you for introducing this very Japanese place to us. I lived in Japan but not Tokyo for 6 years back to 90s, never thought that I would be loving to visit Tokyo again and again.
I've become such a fan of your channel through discovering this series, you did fantastic job on capturing such a unique and wondrous view of japan :-)
I just love how you guys go to places where the usual travelers won't. Will be back in Tokyo this spring and that cat alley in Yanaka Ginza just made it to my list! Originally planning on taking the Skyliner through Ueno but after watching this video, it's decided that Nippori is the better station. Haha. Keep making these videos, thanks! :)
Just...stunning. Can't wait to return. Thank you for keeping me inspired and focused on working overtime-- and having the self-discipline to keep saving my spending money. I know it will be worth it when holiday time finally arrives. What an excellent video...wow. 😃💯💯
I love it when both of you narrate during the video. The text is cool. However narrating really adds a personal touch. I feel more in tune with both of you. I may not be as photogenic as Sam and Ralph but even seeing both of you talk is cool!
Love your videos. I watch them during work, meals and before bed lol I live in Tokyo but didn't know about Yanaka Ginza, so this made me feel that I want to visit! Thanks!
Been loving your Tokyo content. My son and I are going to Japan (from Denmark) for the first time next year. So interesting to get points of interest and most of all areas with good food and local shopping. Thank you😊
i love you guys' calm and unhurried style of vlogging. there's a kind of elegant stillness to it that matches Japan's essence perfectly. I'm heading to Tokyo in about 2 months and while it's not my first time there, your vlogs made me excited to be going back :D
Thank you so much for the love 🤍 Really helps us when we're in the middle of editing another vlog. We're back in Japan next month too. Excited to film more. Hope you have a lovely trip! 🌸
thank you so much! still planning our trips this year, so definitely considering korea too. we just came back from taiwan, so look out for our taiwan vlogs next! 💞
I love love love your japan content so much. Especially now i miss japan but can’t go back there yet. Would love to visit these places you went to. They look so charming. And loving the photography. ❤ hope you will visit japan again because i really would love to see more videos
I visited the Yanaka neighbourhood last year, but I couldn’t spend much time there ☹️ I only tried the cat tail dessert (it was good!) Loved the vlog, I really miss Japan! ❤
Ralph san purchased lot of Family mart’s socks😂 it should be good souvenirs ✨ Actually Family mart release seasonal exclusive products and cardigan with famous Japanese designer for AW is so nice🎉 Pls come back Japan soon and look forward to see your Taiwan video😊 Taiwan is one of my favorite country ❤
Hey guys! Just wanted to say we really love you guys's videos! Real easy to watch and calming on the eye. For sure we've subbed and will continue to follow your journeys. Keep it up guys! Kim & Moe 👫🏻
Hello! I just found your Channel and its so great, so artistic ! Could you by any chance tell me which film caméra you were using during this video? The pictures are sooo pretty!
Thank you so much! 🙏 We've been visiting Tokyo for a few years now, just the first we since we started vlogging. We build our itinerary around certain neighborhoods, and then leave lots of time to wander and explore honestly. Very loose. 😊
I love that you show a kind of more relaxed side of visiting Tokyo :) I‘m visiting for the first time in October with around 4 days in Tokyo, do you think Nakameguro and Yanaka Ginza are still worth a visit and could be done in one day together?
i love your vlogs so much; i'm especially binging the tokyo ones since i'll be going soon! i have a question about narita airport since my flight will also be pretty late- is there somewhere to leave your bags and is there a lot of stuff to do/see? thanks!
Hi there! Luckily there is a lot to do and eat in Narita 😊 From what I know they do have coin lockers in some terminals, but we haven't personally tried them yet.
Very curious about how you guys handle the camera films. Do you request for non-Xray checks? And is it true that the X-ray fries everything up? Have you guys experiences that? Also, does Ralph scan the photos on your own do you print them from a camera shop? Really love your vlogs and you can expect me to comment from here on out! :)
Some airport xrays can handle film but the xrays for the big bags use a higher xray level which cant be good for film. The scans will look muddy/grainy. I play it safe with an Ikea ziploc bag for film in my carry on bag. Then. ack home I have a lab develop and scan everything to a USB. Thanks for your question :)
We recently had to take a flight, but our luggage was so big thanks to 4 kids and lots of anime and model shopping we had to grab an uber it was 115 dollars for 60 kilometres journey. Originally it was just round the corner but we soon realised with two under two we couldn’t manage the train so we told him to take us straight to Kansai he kept asking me if I was sure due to the cost we just yes. He was so nice and kid he even helped us with our bags and got us trollies . When we got to the UK they just watched us struggle. I was so angry and upset. My parents live in the UK. And refused to tip the taxi driver as he was rude towards us . I am glad you never ever experience poor service when you visit Japan .
The quality of care and service in Japan is so exceptional. You can feel how they go out of their way to take care of their guests. We miss it too whenever we leave!
Commenting on this vid in the hopes that you guys see it but can you tell me the name of the store he got that giant tote bag from? I'll be in JPN this fall and would love to get one!
May I ask if you can remember the shop that shows up at around 1:50? (also really love all your videos! The presentation and editing are amazing and you've given me lots of inspiration for my own trip!)
@7:49 The bucket and ladle are used by the family to wash the grave ... um, I probably wouldn't have taken this picture (-_-) but the cemetery has the graves of really famous people like Shibusawa Eiichi and the last Tokugawa shogun.
@@RalphSam I think you may like Monzen-Nakacho neighborhood too. The Tokyo National Noh Theatre is great, but this year, I really want to see a performance of Tokyo Takurazuka in Marunouchi.
@@RalphSam Suntory Museum of Art will reopen this month. Italia Gai has some really good restaurants, especially Komugi Lab, but they're small and incredibly popular. Hama Rikyu Garden is really nice too. But ultimate is concerts at Suntory Hall, I really like the style and elegance of Akasaka.
i recommend Ignis coffee and Hanaju yanaka cafe and Kamunabi ramen and Fujiya… thank you guys visiting my town!
Wow... we just checked all of them and they look really interesting! We will try next trip. Thank you so much 🇯🇵❤️✨️
We wanted to eat at Fujiya but there was a line. Next time for sure 😊 Yanaka / Sendagi is beautiful!
I’ll be in Yanaka in one week! I’ll visit the places you recommended
